Tommy 10

Absolutely stunning. A unqiue freshness with an exotic twist. Calice Becker`s work is outstanding here once again. This is a flanker - an anniversary fragrance - that is a worthy follow up to the eternal beauty that is Tommy. I actually like Tommy 10 even more. Pure brilliance!

I had a bottle of this a few years ago and I wore the heck out of it! Pineapple-y, fresh, clean scent. 9/10. It was quite sweet, but not too sweet. I would love to get my hands on another bottle of this stuff to take me back to my high school and college days.

I bought this for my husband. LOVE IT SO MUCH I BOUGHT MYSELF A BOTTLE! I think it smells subtley different on me but still smells so good it makes my eyes roll back in my head! WOMEN! TRY THIS ON YOURSELF!

If anyone knows of a similar scent, I must have it. This is among my favorite perfumes of all time, even after collecting dozens of bottles. There's just nothing like it that I've ever smelled.

Forgot to mention hubby wears regular Tommy but we both like this Tommy 10 SOOO much better. It's fresher like a splash of Davidoff's Cool Water instead of sharp sugar. Hope that helps!

Sugarscent: I got a one-ounce bottle of this, and it is nice with a fresh beginning and pleasant dry-down. It would be good for casual use in warm weather. Thanks for the recommendation. PS, that recommendation was posted on my birthday:)

Tommy 10 opens with a pineapple and cranberry note that is dry, tarty, and mature, without being too sweet. The notes play well together, although it can get a little heady, almost intoxicating. At its heart, the violet note lifts and gives an airy feel to the perfume, introducing a little bitterness which oddly enough, balances out the sweetness nicely. In the drydown, the bitterness rises as the sweetness steps back, becoming slightly medicinal, which might turn off some, but I like it even more. Further on, the bitterness takes center stage but is gentle and airy. This is a very masculine perfume. It is jolly and imposing. A strange amalgam of preppy meets tropical. Overall, I find this to be pretty unique and mature, with the pineapple really shining through. It is juicy without being cloying. I get moderate sillage and just above average longevity. In my opinion, this is not a scent that needs to project very far. It is an experience for proximity. I would not purchase it though, as it does not suit me very well. Got a full bottle and pretty sure the juice is not 100% fresh anymore having lost some spark and top notes. What I could make with what I have is indeed a very similar flanker of the original, and I fully agree the cinnamon and cloves are very much reduced here. Another striking difference I pick up the high amount of Calone, which almost smells like marina air in high humid or as some say "eggy". I have the vintage bottle of original Tommy as well, which lacks some top note spark too, but it still smells much more complex than this. Tommy 10 remains flat in comparison. I do have the current formula of Tommy too, and from my experience after all, just get the original Tommy and you will have the best value. When it comes to 90s and 00s freshies, most times it's a futile thing to hunt for vintages. Most of them smell as good as they did before and vintages don't bring big gains, if anything they are a risk as most of them are constructed with fresh ingredients that are prone to go off (mossy, spicy and woody ones are better bets in this sense).

Another fresh/light scent. It starts just like its older brother, the Tommy Cologne (from 1994). Quickly it follows a different way from, and starts to look more like Zegna "Z". "Z" is more spicy (I think because the pepper), and, for me, more lasting. The Tommy Cologne is also a fresh/light scent, with something a little sweet in it, like cinnamon. As Tommy 10 is a little like Zegna Z, I prefer "Z" which I think is stronger, and the Tommy Cologne because that difference from its younger brother.

This fragrance has a great resemblance to Tommy Cologne, the entry is almost identical and the middle notes are exactly the same style, though less touch of cinnamon so to speak, and susutituye with an aroma of cinnamon-cream. It has a similar setting as Tommy Cologne is definitely preferable to the original version. It has good potential for daily settlement and perhaps can be directed to an audience a bit more serious than the original cologne.

Smells good, but I really can't see any difference in this from the original "Tommy", which I don't even see here (only Tommy girl), which makes me think they are the exact same thing. A marketing hoax, if you ask me.

Fresca, ligera, suave, huele a piña, a lluvia, en fin, aunque parecida es diferente a la Tommy Cologne que es mas cítrica. Es mi preferida para el día, sobre todo en verano.
