Tommy Poolside Edition

This is incredible for the price. Tommy needs to keep this one around so it will become like Nautica Voyage among fragrance enthusiasts. Except this performs way better. So it's like they tried to kind of combine a tropical fragrance like LeBeau with an aquatic, and it worked pretty well. It kind of reminds me of Armaf Odessey Ba Ha Mas. This is for anyone who like summer time vibes. I get 12hrs as a skin scent, and decent projection for the first 5 hours, and then it starts fading. This is a great one for people who think LeBeau is too sweet.

Tommy is 3 for 3 the last few summers along with Vibrant Summer (2024) and Summer Edition (2025). This one smells like a quality sunscreen you would wear sitting by a pool with a beach breeze coming off the ocean. I would check your local Burlington or Ross for this, they are usually $24.99 and some of the best "cheapies" you will find. I give it a 10/10 all things considered. I highly recommend just buying it as a blind buy if you see it.

Found this at a grand opening of a new Burlington this morning. Picked up the ladies version for my wife last week from Ross and she loves it. This is tropical vacation in a bottle, lemon and sea salt with a slight touch of spice. Applied at around 10 AM and still smelling it at 5:30 without having to bury my nose in my skin. Out of the last three TH summer flankers, this one is my favorite. I'll add a backup bottle when I see one.

This smells like drinking a pina colada on a tropical, yet very clean beach. The type of beach with pearly white sand, palm trees, white and blue striped umbrellas for shade and walkways and beach chairs in white painted wood. But there's also a pool nearby, because apart from pineapple and coconut, I definitely smell a vague whiff of chlorine.

I am very biased when it comes to TOMMY, it was basically my intro into the fragrance world and my very first signature scent. I wore it all throughout my highschool years back when it was first introduced in the jolly 90’s , i even got the nickname “Tommy” because my school mates kept asking me all the time what is that scent I’m wearing. So... i was very excited to find “pool side “ at Burlington for only $24 !!! considering it is a 2026 release , it is a very good bargain. And now to the scent itself: It is got a very messy opening, quite synthetic and very hard to pick the notes apart , but it is very lemony and fresh. soon as it dries down, it turn into sun tan lotion kind of smell, due to the salt note ,but in a very good way , it dose give that kind of a pool side vibe. It has a sweetness to it and i guess that’s why some people here are picking up coconut , although it doesn’t exist here at all. I wore it this morning for my day out , it’s was warm summer day , and it projected quite well, I even could’ve smell it on myself, body heat is amplifying the silage , and tbh it’s sort of stayed on my skin throughout the whole duration of the day and projected well for at least 5-6 hours (it was a warm day) it is not bad at all ,since it’s a flanker of an all time classic , snd one of the best summer scents ever which is Tommy . Nevertheless, It is far from being similar to Le Sal D’issey, with all due respect the latter is superior, ( checkout my review of it) Le Sal has a ginger mid note that companied with the salt gives a zesty uplift to the concoction . I think if the top pepper note on pool side would have been introduced at the mid notes instead of the top notes, this frag could’ve have been slightly elevated. But overall ! An awesome daytime summer fragrance that anyone would love .

Citrus? Nah this is apple and watermelon. I don't smell much, if any, of citrus at all...maybe some orange in there. This smells very reminiscent of Paris Hilton for men, TBH. That's not a bad thing if you started your frag journey 25-30 years ago. Def not worth the price tag they are asking, that's for sure. However, this may be the best "summer" version they have done in some time

Its aquatic but not Oceanic. Just like the name it smells like clean skin fresh out of the pool. I love how light, fresh, and zingy it is while being a lil warm in the base from amber. Im not getting any invictus resemblance at all, maybe a lil Y eau fraiche yes but its not a bubblegum beast like invictus. Solid 8/10 for me as a cheap easy summer and spring dumb reach.

Picked up a 100ml bottle at Burlington today for $25. Upon initial spray, I got the now all-too-familiar sweet freshie profile. (think Invictus and Y Eau Fraiche I was disappointed as I tend to think of a poolside fragrance as being more aquatic versus sweet, which can be cloying in hot weather. That said, about 15 min in, some of the sweetness dissipates and the salt comes through more clearly. It begins to remind me of a slightly sweeter Tommy Bahama for Him at that point which is nice and gives more of a salted watermelon vibe. They use apple in this, which when combined with the ambroxan-like cedarwood note, makes it just a little too sweet for a pool day. Of course, maybe I’m just the wrong audience to appreciate the current trend of sweet frags, so if you like the profile, you’ll likely enjoy this one.

I just got my bottle at Ross for $19.99. I always love the Summers but not this. Definitely in the Invictus/Hawas family but smells cheap. Just get Hawas.

Tommy’s summer releases have been gems the last couple years. And thankfully this is not just another rebottle (vibrant and summer edition = same juice). I think the key to these are the atomizer though. Hear me out cause I have not heard this from anyone. On first opening it’s an alcohol bomb. Every one of them. But after you spray out some (10 spritzes) and it’s primed and the alcohol dissolves. Obviously this is lower quality oils but what I think Tommy does is their atomizer puts out a good amount of juice. I go through the bottles quicker then and other bottle I’ve ever had. It’s smart in my opinion. It’s a cheapie for a reason. And this is a great spray and go. King of the heat type of fragrance. Poolside edition I saw has mandarin in it. I’m not experienced enough to pick out notes but I do have enough experience to know the notes I personally like once I figure out what they are. If you liked vibrant summer and summer edition you will certainly like this. They are very close. I will say the mandarin I mentioned earlier is what has changed. It’s a nice change and I’ve been going through a bottle of Tommy each summer so this will still do the job but changes things a little. For you casual resellers. These are usually limited editions so grab your back up bottles and stash them.

I love Tommy Vibrant Summer, it was an under the radar hidden gem for me. Tommy Summer 2025 didn't really do it for me, personally. Poolside Edition fits in right next to Vibrant Summer. This is like another facet of the Vibrant Summer that has no redundancy to me. It perfectly icorporates the sunscreen accord, you can pick out all the elements of the note breakdown in an almost photo-realistic way. This is NOT a sweet fragrance. Sweetness is super minimal. I cannot relate it to the vast majority of the "reminds me of" section at all other than seasonality. There are other fragrances I could relate it to: Tommy Vibrant Summer... Zara Regal White. If you are a fan of either of those then you will want to get this.

This definitely has a coconut note in it, or something is broken in my olfactory system. I am not a fan of 99% of coconut in fragrances (ocean noir where it barely is noticeable). So ai won't rank this bc it isn't a fair assessment. If you like Le Beau, Island, Malibu Hawas, Tropical Hawas you will like this. I get why people do, it just isn't for me. Love some T.H. scents though.

Not only coconut, but there's also some undisclosed mineral notes in the fragrance. It's not just salt. Definitely gives poolside vibes. Other than that, it's SUPER close to Polo 67 EDP, or rather, the Lattafa dupe: Raed Absolu.

Fresh light and addictive. Found at Burlington and I don’t regret this buy! I’d even consider a back up bottle of this for the price.

Nice coconut fragrance. It kind of leans into that jpg/azzaro most wanted dna. Nice fragrance. Excellent summer blind buy.

Smells like OG Polo sport with added coconut. Not bad but kinda generic
