Dama

On my skin, Laura Tonatto DAMA perfume oil is a slightly sweet amber which feels and smells like a golden sheen. It wears like a skin scent, and I suspect that the almond carrier oil has added its own qualities to the perfume. I have become rather addicted to this rich and seductive smell, which is neither too sweet and vanilla-y nor overbearingly ambery, but just the right balance. In fact, this creation is better than most vanilla or amber perfumes thanks to the delectable opoponax present as well. Because of my enthusiasm about the perfume oil, I purchased a bottle of DAMA body oil (my excuse being dry winter skin...), which is in some ways even better than the perfume oil. I apply the body oil to wet skin immediately after a bath, and although perfume is the third, not the second, ingredient (after almond oil and coconut oil), the effect of coating my entire body with it is that I smell fully perfumed--in addition to having soft, smooth skin. However, the scent is compatible with most any other perfume, which makes it possible to wear something else on top. I actually love this stuff, but I cannot say for sure whether the experience of DAMA would be the same in edt form. Looks like I'll have to find out!

Laura Bosetti Tonatto sophisticated nose of great artistic fragrances as well as the creator of Queen Elizabeth II's personal perfume. Dama is a wonderful fragrance with a fabulous sweetness, the bon ton grace make Dama by Laura Bosetti Tonatto an appreciable fragrance of great femininity and elegance. I remember meeting this exclusive fragrance by chance in the produits de salle de bain in a luxury hotel: I was enchanted by the quality and workmanship of the almost caramelized body cream, with the soft scent of non-gourmand vanilla immersed in the voluptuous sensuality of amber, clearly appreciable hints of refined violet and base notes of opoponax of rare beauty. Of course I bought the perfume which clearly confirmed the valuable quality of this rare pearl of artistic perfumery. Sophisticated, soft sillage. Incredible duration, never intrusive.

I'm in love with this scent!!! I think at this point, it might be my most favorite perfume from my entire collection. I bought it unsniffed, just based on the reviews and suggestions. I also have the body oil, which is amazing. Dama is the most creamy, well blended mix of vanilla and super soft amber, with some almond notes appearing now and then. It's powdery, but not overwhelming. It stays close to the skin, but I can sense it for 10 hrs at least! The oppoponax is present at all times, making this scent super comforting and very feminine. I can't detect the iris, but maybe because it's so well blended. To me, it's super sexy and very intimate.

I had the exceptional chance to buy this fragrance for a song, and this is my first approach to Laura Tonatto's fragrances. I may admit that all her fragrances are weird and strong. Interesting, good quality of ingredients but weird. Dama and Amir are the ones I appreciate more and the only ones I can wear with a certain ease and comfort. Dama is a fragrance in the manner of Chopard's Casmir, Rochas's Tocade. Only three drops and I feel surrounded by a sort of warm fur coat. Rich in vanilla and opoponax, cozy. Perfect for winter.

This is a lovely, soft, and, to me, exquisitely feminine fragrance. It reminds me very much of Tocade by Rochas, but slightly less powdery than the Tocade. I can't really distinguish the violet, which to me is a good thing, just a lovely blend of vanilla, amber and opoponax with a floral touch. Stays close to the skin and is reasonably long-lasting on me. Not something I wear for a night out, but something I regularly turn to for a cosy night in. Recommended.
