Women in Coffee

Thank you to amanda-m-lewis below for responding to my inquiry and posting this review. I've now bought the fragrance and I'm so glad I did as its becoming hard to find, no longer on the Tonatto website. I was worried this would be too indolic as I saw coffee blossom compared to jasmine, but this indeed has a mellow coffee undertone that impressively does not overtake the fragrance, and complements the florals. The other coffee/white floral scent I've tried, J Scent Cafe, was a terrible screechy clash. This is a mellow vanilla cardamom cold brew at dawn, next to a bouquet of purple and white florals. Very pleasant and easy to like. This is is a project with Carolina Vergnano, owner of the oldest coffee roaster in Italy who is instrumental in supporting the role of women in coffee plantations. "The Women in Coffee fragrance, created by women for women, is composed of a floral and romantic accord ... which starts from the coffee flower to release freshness and intrigue with notes of lilac, jasmine, lily of the valley and tuberose. The character of this fragrance is defined by the presence of spices such as black pepper and nutmeg that recall the history of the company and the Vergnano family." Top notes: Coffee, vanilla Heart notes: Coffee, rose, jasmine, lilac, lily of the valley, tuberose Base notes: Black pepper, pink pepper, cardamom, nutmeg Underrated house.

Delightful fragrance. Is exactly how Fragrantica have listed it. Fresh, zingy, spicy and slightly green, purple and white floral which has the most divine lilac note, that is underpinned by spicy notes. The white florals are well behaved and restrained; so this isn't an indolic white floral. If anything the freshness and the lilac really are the starts of the show and they are underpinned very nicely by something, I can't quite discern and say that its this or that, but its definitely spicy and slighty woody, making this scent very easy to wear and keep in my collection and the only downside is that I don't wear it more often. Which is due to the fancy bulb spray which annoys me no end, but after revisiting today. I will buy a fancy decanter and just decant unto that. As its definitely a fragrance that I enjoy wearing.
