Breathe

I got this from my aunt for Christmas and I was honestly pleasantly surprised. When I first smelled it, I got citrus with a hint of flowers and something vaguely custardy. I wouldn’t have picked coconut out as one of the notes, but I guess it really blends with the vanilla so it’s hard to pick up on by itself. The end of winter/beginning of spring is a weird time of year if you change up your perfume with the seasons like I do; it’s too warm out for the winter scents, but too early for the warm weather ones. I like the more intimate sillage for this fickle, nearly-spring weather; it makes you want to lean in closer for better whiff. I only have 2 real complaints: it doesn’t last long (a few hours tops), and the price is kind of high. If I ran out, I’d be more than a little irked at having to pay $70+ for a celebrity scent that I’d have to reapply at least once during the day, but I’d do it. Probably. TL;DR- Overpriced and a gimmicky bottle, but smells like eating a slice of lemon icebox pie in a backyard garden. Soft. Fresh. A little cozy. Perfect for early spring. (If you can find it on sale.)

I am a huge Toni Braxton fan—she is still making incredible new music to this day, by the way—and I was so excited when I heard she was releasing her own fragrance. When I first saw the notes and heard her describing the fragrance as "light" and "airy," though, I was honestly quite surprised. Her alto voice is so uniquely husky and sultry that I would've expected a deep, smoky, and sensual fragrance to match. But she's right! This is a lovely, sparkling citrusy floral with a slight tropical twist. At first sniff, it reminded me a bit of Frédéric Malle's Carnal Flower, considerably softened by a healthy helping of citrus and coconut water. As it dried down, it reminded me much more of Tom Ford's Fleur de Portofino. For me, this scent does stay quite close to the skin, and it of course does not pack the punch of the two aforementioned pricy fragrances. (Although this one isn't necessarily cheap, either!) But it is quite nice. I'd recommend getting the rollerball to try it out at a cheaper price before buying the full bottle, but I am pleased to have this in my collection.

Seen the 2 pc set on HSN for $40, I didn’t have a clue on what it would smell like, but still decided to purchase. The bottle is very gaudy and cheap looking. But the feel is nice, it’s sturdy and heavy. Now on to the juice: This is a nice white floral, with citrus, tropical and woodsy notes. Very simple but still smells has depth. First spray, I get citrusy notes and coconut. I also get some grapey notes somewhere own there. the jasmine and orange blossom are very present along with musk and sugared vanilla which definitely add some sweetness and sultriness. After about an hour or sniffing my wrist and dissecting this fragrance I realized this is is a tropical-fresh modern version of Alien by Thierry Mugler!

This smells like fruit loops haha. Still very pretty and light for a nice summer day. This could very well be for a teenager. Yes, the bottle looks cheap. And the juice smells kind of cheap too, but hey, I don't hate it

The perfume pyramid of this contains all my favorite ingredients. Thats so cool! I hope this comes to Europe and in particular to Bulgaria. I will buy it right away :)
