1920 The Origin Eau de Toilette

I will order several bottles from Tous as they seem like a good house and update this with my review. Edit: Super fresh well made aquatic summer scent. This is perfect for us who miss the ck style summer aquatics of the 90s and early 00s So fresh and summery, love it. No note stands out too much. It is just well blended and gives a vibe more than individual notes, which is ideal imo Drying down it becomes very much like a Lanvin, Nautica Voyage, L’eclat D’arpege and CK summer early 2000’s. Longevity and performance seems standard for aquatic, not incredible. If you miss the good old ck summer aquatics, this is BANG ON. Much fresher than the recent Ck Summers imo.

TrephineArtist, I forgot to mention in my response to your comment on my YouTube Channel that this fragrance is indeed available. I purchased it on a discount site called Labelleperfumes a few weeks back for $36. I haven't seen it on Fragrancenet or fragrancex as of yet. I don't pick up any yuzu in this one. I enjoy the burst of grapefruit in the opening, along with a spicy cinnamon and cardomom that join the ride in the mid. The base allows a woody aquatic vibe to surface. It is very intriguing on my skin. It projects well in the first hour, and stays on my skin for 6 hours. A great summer cheapie.

A fresh citrus blast. Opens with prominent citrus notes; fresh, a little like citronella and slightly aquatic. Has herbaceous aromas, possibly mint but quickly starts to resemble a realistic grapefruit/yuzu note and this remains stable for a while. Very zesty, bright and sparkling. It's airy and tonic. A clean musk starts to emerge alongside peppery hints and green notes. After a while the citrus turns into something akin to an "orange ice-lolly." As a skin scent it retains the musk and pepper, but becomes woody, almost "piney." Some amber balsamic/mineral notes noticeable after a good few hours sitting on the skin. More masculine in composition, most ages 20-60(ish) Summer is where this will shine, daytime, fine for the office too. Performance is solid; projects well for at least a couple of hours and lasts as a skin scent 8hrs+ Has a 90's woody aquatic vibe, similar to but actually a bit nicer than "L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme." (IMO.) Great citrus forward summer fragrance with nice quality for the price, I like it.

For the price, this is a no brainer, really decent scent. Citrusy opening from the grapefruit, dries down to a nice fresh, aromatic scent. If you are fan of grapefruit, you will love this one. I payed €20 for the bottle, really happy.

I love this scent. Starts citrusy and fresh and transitions to being aromatic. Great value at a cheap price.

Strong grapefruit with some spice behind it from the cinnamon and cardamom. The grapefruit dissipates after about 2 hours and you’re left with a very clean base of guaiac wood and a slight touch of amber. Doesn’t last too long but it can be found for cheap. If you like grapefruit you’ll love this one

Imagine L’eau d’Issey but with amberwoods (norlimbanol or similar) and a touch of that PR Invictus sweetness

This is the first Tous fragrance I have gotten my nose on, and I'm not disappointed. 1920 the origin edt is a nice, easygoing citrus fragrance, with a slight cooling effect that will work great for late spring and throughout summer. I can't say that this juice has the IT factor, but it is quite nice and I can see it growing on me the more I wear it. I don't get Leau D'issey at all it reminds me more of the opening of Artisan Pure meets the drydown of Eternity edp. It sounds like it would not work but it pulls this off quite nicely. If you're looking for a summer fragrance that has an air of class about it, this is a nice option especially for the price. 7.5 out of 10

The scent profile is very pleasant. Juicy citrus and aquatic notes that stay throughout the entire wear. This is still pretty short though because this scent never really pops. Becomes a skin scent within 30 minutes. Stays for a couple of hours on clothes though. Payed 30 $ for 50 ml. back in 2023 but I honestly regret buying it. Nothing special and very weak to my nose at least. The Icon by Banderas is quite similar and performs way better.
