Tous delivers some lovely, inexpensive fragrances. The pillar for this scent, Tous Touch, is one of my absolute favorites. This is nice, but not the swooning love of the original. The Luminous Gold is mostly a cool floral. The lotus notes give this a cool, watery presence. The jasmine and solar notes are woven together and prominent as a duo. The other notes are more delicate and round out the composition. Solar notes sometimes make a fragrance seem like a heatwave. This more like looking out on a lake on a sunny morning - bright, but not sweaty. This reminds my of Proenza Schouler’s Arizona redone with a lighter hand. Arizona pounds every note hard; Luminous Gold is more delicately harmonious. It lasts a few hours but wears close to the body.
