TOUS MAN Les Colognes Concentrées

'Man Les Colognes Concentree' by Tous was my first look into the brand, which I have seen in many places and ads but never tried, even though they always intrigued me. I figured these were high quality, classy scents, and this definitely fit the bill for that. This smells like a four star hotel room or luxury sports car dealership lobby would smell in the Spring or Summer. This is basically a softer, more accessible and lighter version of Hermes 'Terre d'Hermes', without the strong and heavy vetiver note. Initial blast is citrus, watery notes, woods and a slight minty vibe. It smells amazing, like a nice spring morning or summer afternoon in the shade where the weather isn't too hot, and a soft breeze is blowing. It's actual very strong initially, and projects very well for the first hour. The middle of the scent is where the vetiver takes hold, with a slight vanilla note, but mainly vetiver, lemon and marine vibes all the way to its base of vetiver, which sticks around for a respectably long time. The heat seems to push the scent out and project it better. With eight sprays (neck, shoulders, chest and forearms), I usually get about five or six hours of longevity and then it becomes a skin scent for two more hours until its gone. Projection is excellent for the first hour, then it becomes moderate for the next four hours. Where this scent really shines is that it stays on clothes and fabrics for several days. You will smell this radiating off your shirt, catching whiffs for at least 7-10+ hours or more if you hit the shoulders and chest a few times. Warm weather seems to increases its projection and scent trail. If you are a fan of Terre d'Hermes and other vetiver powerhouses, but want something a bit lighter and not so dirty, this stuff is perfect. It smells gorgeous, is made with high quality ingredients, and has surprisingly good performance for a fresh fragrance. It works very well as a daytime fragrance in Spring and Summer months, is work safe and can be found at decent prices. Definitely recommended.

What a beauty this is, hard to put into words this fragrance. It’s a cheap fragrance that smells way above its price, falling short from niche quality. Yet it’s such a well made fragrance and well executed, has that sweet and acid grapefruit has that hint of mint, it borrows that slight creaminess of the Tonka bean and then the wood and vetiver notes just compliment a perfectly well balanced cologne. It has a grey vibe to the vetiver rather than green which reminds me of so many grey vetiver designers like dolce gabanna the one grey, but this is just not just a generic designer fragrance it’s so so much more. And the bottle just compliments and is a perfect representation of the scent of this fragrance a very Smokey and iced out grey fragrance with the white wood just perfect. It’s a fragrance that is not pungent and out there but very subtle and aromatic and kind of romantic in a way. When I smell this fragrance it just transports me to like the white tree in Gondor from LOTR, a white forest and that so much life to it. It’s inviting and classy but not as mature to be considered only a fragrance for older men, but it can be pulled by any one. I wore this fragrance throughout my teenage years and I did Get several compliments specially from my dad. To me personally this fragrance is as if YSL la nuit de lhomme had a daytime summer sibling. The scents are vastly different but they share the same concept in a way that they are subtle romantic gentle creamy and woody. They are Fragrances that I honestly would just wear for myself rather than try to impress others. You just can’t go wrong with this perfume i just wish It had a better performance nonetheless it remains an excellent fragrance 9/10 for me considering value for money and scent

@sergioalcantra How is this perfume remotely similar to Dior homme cologne, they are completely different this one is more on the woody side even if it has citrus, the only thing they sort of share in common is the powdery side but that’s about it. Dior homme cologne is ten times sweeter than this honestly there is no comparison

I smell every note it says it has, its very nice, fresh but not brisk. Doesn't give you a sparkling feel. It has a tamer Issey Miyake feel. Projection is low, still, it can be good for layering and possibly used with a molecule type scent.

It's beautiful, bright, white, fresh, light, unique and almost unisex but leaning more to male. This scent is a big, lovely surprise from TOUS which brand has not let me down so far. I have 4 scents from them and all are just great!

This is a great cheapie!! Citrus, fresh and slightly burnt/toasted orange blossoms. I love it!! Just gotta respray as the sillage and longevity aren’t very powerful.

The perfect clean citrus scent i was looking for my husband. Wonderfully elegant, just like a tailor made english cologne.

This reminds me of an old-schooled, classic man. It doesn't feel like a cologne but rather an after shave or lotion.

Just finished a 100 ml bottle and I must say that this is a great Dump Reach Fragrance for spring and summer.

Tous Man Les Colognes Concentrees opens with a moderate to soft projection of sweet citrus, floral and woody accords. The grapefruit and orange blossom create a citrus and slightly floral accord, sweet, close to bergamot but not sharp. The mint is a soft green touch and opens the path to the vetiver which becomes noticeable after just a brief moment. The guaiac wood is a soft and fresh woody accord but not prominent, similarly, the tonka bean creates an aromatic touch without making the fragrance sweet. The most noticeable changes from the opening to the dry down are the almost entirely dissipation of the citrus accords, the change from a moderate to low projection, and the development of a non-officially listed musky accord. Once Tous Man Les Colognes Concentrees has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a very low projection, slightly sweet, fresh woody, and musky green (vetiver and mint) with soft citrus accords. The fragrance feels casual, clean, delicate, diurnal, green earthy, faint, fresh, inexpensive, light, modern, musky, sporty, slightly sweet, versatile, weak, white, woody, and pleasant. BATCH REVIEWED: 2020 WOW RATING: 3/10. A very weak woody and green fragrance, unimpressive. DISLIKE RATING: 0/10. The fragrance contains no offensive notes. UNIQUENESS: 2/10. Someone on the forum recommended this as an alternative to the now-discontinued Givenchy Gentleman Cologne. While the notes are quite different there are a few similarities - the citrus, vetiver and orange blossom/neroli - and both are in that "classy, fresh cologne" category. Neither fragrance lasts long either, but luckily the Tous is inexpensive so you won't mind respraying regularly. I really do enjoy the whole fresh-woody-floral thing. It's clean, elegant and mature without smelling "old" or dated. It's versatile and you could wear this to the office, to a formal event or on a date in the spring or summer.

#739 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is a passable freshie. Kinda VO5 3-in-1 Shower Gel stuff like all the Tous scents. It's fine for the office, carpool, elevator, won't offend anyone, even if you bathe in it. Kinda minty. Has enough notes in common that this scent reminded me of Jacques Bogart's "Silver Scent Pure", a scent in roughly the same price range. [https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Jacques-Bogart/Silver-Scent-Pure-32550.html] Both have grapefruit, orange blossom, mint, guaiac. This scent adds vetiver and tonka. The Bogart adds teak, musk, lavender, Granny Smith apple, cardamom, nutmeg and patchouli. Having smelled them side-by-side, given their underwhelming potency, they're likeable, but I am indifferent to both. I don't regret buying them at $25. But no reason to ever buy them again.

Different for sure. The bitternes of grapefruit really shines through. Fresh, different, but too bitter for me, only for that reason won’t rebuy. Nice bottle, though.

In the vein of JV Artisan Pure... However, this has a fairly strong/nice Grapefruit note in the opening (assuming this is where the Dior Homme Cologne comparison derives from, as it is fairly juicy in the opening) that does carry through the life of the fragrance, albeit not anywhere near as strong as it is in the first 15 minutes. The white florals and Vetiver take over after about that 15-20 minute mark. The Mint / Grapefruit notes blend well and make for more of a "mass appealing" type accord - However, there is also a dry "dusty" accord that may not be as pleasant for some. Assuming some mix of the Vetiver and possibly a dryer Guaiac Wood (Someone may know if the Orange Blossom could account for a dusty accord?)... The dustiness does lighten up and it does make for a more unique fragrance experience. The Tonka is light, but it is what helps that dustiness lighten up and adds just a hint of warm sweetness to the Vetiver. Performance is so-so... About 4 hours, give or take... But, don't be afraid to go heavy. It may not be the most mass appealing/citrus/blue type fragrance, but you will not smell offensive, so apply extra sprays and feel free to re-apply after a couple hours. I like it... Something a little different with its own twist, but also a fragrance DNA that has been done before. I actually found this at a Burlington's, 100ml for $25 - Figured why not. I would say, this would tend to appeal more to those who are 30 + ... As it does have a mature tone to it. But, is still a touch playful with the Grapefruit, Mint and Tonka. Having said all that... JV Artisan Pure, better fragrance. Dior Homme Cologne, better fragrance. Givenchy Gentleman Cologne, better fragrance.

When i first tried this i thought i couldn’t smell anything. Turns out, that was probably accurate due to seasonal allergies or maybe I had Covid at the time, who knows. Tried it again later, and wow, way stronger, and longer lasting than initially perceived. Cheap yes, but I think this is worth more than it’s selling for. Sort of difficult to describe. Do you remember the Loreal Kids Shampoo that came in colorful fish-shaped bottles? Has that sort of fresh-sweet-fruitiness to it, but this is not soapy at all whatsoever. The mint gives it a cooling effect, it actually does smell cold. All of this is on top of a woody vetiver base that is not so distant to Encre Noire, but this is not dark at all to me. Lasts for days on clothes. Recommend for warm weather.

This one has grown on me. I didn't like it at first because the scent didn't match up with my expectations. Based on the reviews and comparisons made here, I expected a sparkly, 7-Up citrus DHC 2013 type of vibe. This is not that. There is some citrus freshness at the top, but the vetiver/guaiac wood/tonka accord is a tiny bit sweet, but quite dry and slightly smokey. As I wasn't expecting that, it really turned me off. But upon returning to it after a year or so, I got a mild sandalwood/incense vibe. And from that context, I've really grown to appreciate this. Funny how our mental associations/expectations can change how we feel about a fragrance.

This “concentration” must contain about 1% of parfum. Because it barely hovers 1/2 an inch above the skin. It is pleasing clean scent though. Heavy on citruses, juicy, with an almost a spicy chemical backbone. Bottle is unique. Edit: Must have been my allergies, or the liquid needed some time after first spray to blossom, but after further tries, this does project more than originally experienced. Sprayed on back of my hand I get wafts up to my nose for several hours with arms dangling at my side, and on clothes this lasts a very long time.

This is a simple cologne of citrus-vetiver-tonka blend. Very down-to-earth, reserved kind of mood. I normally dislike tonka, but the combination of citrus and tonka here is really pleasant. It gives the cologne a nice body and volume. The vetiver is refreshing and light. It is an easy to wear daily fragrance, quite a special one among most colognes. Projection and longevity are weak-to-moderate. -AB-

Fresh and Dior Channel Guerlain cologne-ish with some nice longevity and more woody profile. It has a nice slightly incense vibe that I liked, but it is a bit too sweet compared to others. And from the middle, a nasty cheap musk starts to reveal itself, until in the end it is all that left, a cheap musk.

This actually reminds me of This is Really Him! from Zadig & Voltaire. This one is grapefruit sandalwood and that one is grapefruit sandalwood. The Tous starts off much lighter and airier but then it becomes more similar. They are like siblings. The Tous is lighter.

I get mostly grapefruit and vetiver. It’s a sour fragrance, pretty off putting in my opinion. Not the best performance or longevity. Try Tous 1920 the origin EDT (the blue one) for a much better grapefruit fragrance from the same house

The dry down of this is beautiful. Opens up like a generic citrus cheapy, but wait about 10 minutes and it becomes amazing. An hidden gem
