True Religion

I am a perfume addict! And out of my list of favorites, this is at the top. I am so very upset that it's been discontinued and I didn't realize it in time to stock up before the pirates started charging an arm and a leg for it. I'm now in search of a dupe but so far, the "smells like" are just no comparison. This was the perfect light and fresh scent. It wasn't too sweet, it wasn't too spicy, it wasn't too floral.. The one and only complaint I could have was that it didn't last as long as I'd like it. Otherwise it was perfect and I don't think I'll ever find a scent that I love as much as this one. Although this could be in the same family as D&G Light Blue. I don't think True Religion really smells like it. LB smells strong of lemon, and this does not. I think this one smells WAY better. P.S. I don't get the masculant reviews. If I smelled this on a guy, I would think he smelled like a girl.. just my opinion..

Blind buy. The pretty art style on the box caught my eye. The bottle is quite pretty too! This is a basic fresh scent, very crisp clean and citrusy. I'm definitely picking up on that freesia note, im not really getting the woody notes though. While I do think this is a nice easy to wear scent that a lot of people would enjoy, there is NO staying power. Between that & the strong freesia, this is going into into body mist territory. While the price was low I still feel like Ill fly though this tiny bottle with how much you have to spray. Probably won't repurchase but I will love this scent to keep I'm my bag for summer. It definitely feels like it could be a great hot day scent. EDIT- This scent has grown on me a ton! I always get compliments when I wear it so I probably will repurchase since it's so cheap and always at Marshall's!

I love the crisp freshness of this scent. There is something in particular about it that grabs me, but I can't seem to put my finger on it. The opening, at least for me is the faint combo of apples and oranges mingled with a sharper citrus, probably the Bergamot and the Violet greens. It settles a bit but without losing all its tang. For me, the freesia sort of bursts through the citrus with just a hint of amaryllis. The drydown is lovely as the citrus fades a bit to be replaced by Hinoki Wood which carries the citrus theme through to a warm finish with cedar and the sweetness of amber. There is that warm, beachy, woody smell with the lingering citrus and just a faint hint of floral. Very versatile, in my opinion and the sillage is good (don't go crazy and dump the whole bottle on - a little goes a long way!)

My perfume order finally came in...YEAH!!! True Religion was on the top of my spray right after it comes in list so I did one spray on my wrist and immediately made my guinea pig son sniff, he liked it. It is mostly a floral, almost gardenia-ish scent on me, a bit of lime and some very light vanilla, and a bit off woods like scent lingering in the background, very pleasant, very wearable. This could be both a dress up date night perfume or a doing chores on a Tuesday perfume, it is totally inoffensive, maybe a bit too safe..,;0) Sillage: 2/5 very very close to skin, I'm sitting out in the sun and it is a bit breezy so occasionally I catch the slightest whiff but it is by no means radiating. Longevity: only 2 hours in but still pretty strong. Overall: glad I added it to my ever growing perfume collection.

so so so happy to rekindle the love of this fragrance I met in my past. I am not a fresh scent fanatic nor an aquatic fragrance lover... sharp citrus or overtly green fragrances are also snubbed by my affinity for sweeter fragrances. But this is just beautiful to me, it smells like the sillage of rain. Let me explain... rain leaves a particular scent of earthy dampness in its wake, and when you step into the woods, everything has been kissed by the rain...you even feel heavy, leftover droplets spatter on you from the leaves above. The citrus in this is sweet and faint. Actually all of the notes in this fragrance run together, you can’t separate the sodden woods from the essence of flowery fruits from the overhanging branches. Very natural smelling but with great performance. LOVE. 💙
