MrVigilante: thats play by play what happend to me wearing this frag. TWICE. ok im from switzerland so we dont care nearly as much about trump and politics as i imagine US folks do, still it is painfuly obvious that many people are walking around with adult size clothing, but kindergarden thinking (yes, the exact same people who gave this frag a 1 or 2 out of 5) a cleaning lady of the office just absolutely ADORED this one on me (and she knows im into parfums, so she always comments on them), then when i told her what it was, she had a face like i raped her daugther:D another day a guy walked up to me, literaly asking me "what is this nice smell", i told him, he goes "no thanks"...like wtf. if it had pmurt written on it: amazing, trump: awful...if thats your level of thinking, turn the bottle upside down. you will live a happy life:D so anyway, talking of the scent itself, it is a very pleasant, and pound-for-pound very well performing frag (lets not forget we are talking about a cheapie here). it is very much a suit wearing , office scenario, and it is a bit on the sweat side, but masterfully avoid being cloying or syrupie, in fact it balances out to be quite a dymanic one that gets you moving and leaves just a touch of sweet behind with your scent trail. if you apply both to the skin and on your shirt, it can last a full shift, and honestly -it might have some copy-catie to it- sure as hell dont have the cheap feel. i could compare it to van cleef's new york, but with this certain sweet touch, or maybe trussardi's black, but with far bigger punch. its my friday scent on my winter office rotation right now and my most complimented one so far...by a long shoot...just saying. (oh i did not once think of trump wearing this, i have no idea how much if at all he was involved in the development, but even if he was, there is a guy who pretty much lived his whole life wearing suits and ties so at least we can say he knows the setting)

Really really excellent. I bought it blindly because I used Trump Success for a number of years as my go-to and I really enjoyed that and got compliments. Alas I ran out and Success is no longer on shelves. This is better than Success in my opinion and that seems to be the general consensus. Success is much more masculine and projects much further with less juice, but is rather sharp up top and synthetic smelling on the dry down with really strong birch, musk, and possibly bug spray. I used to use one spray of Success and people could smell it. I think it's unlikely people can smell Empire a couple feet away even with three sprays and I can barely smell it on myself, but when I do it's addicting. Going about your day you'll catch whiffs of what can only be described as fresh laundry or freshly cleaned upholstery (floral) that would work well just about anywhere. There's a really addicting "high" note that shows up on the drydown and immediately has me trying to catch another whiff. Nothing spicy about it, very creamy and sweet. It's quite a bit muskier close to the skin but still not as dark as Success. Empire is likely much more agreeable to most people and can be used anywhere. If I had to assign them a color it would be a dark gray for Success, and a low saturation light green for Empire and gold for that really addicting note. It is a super unique masculine scent that will surely garner compliments if anyone can smell it on you. It is extremely weak. I'm probably going to buy more before they run out. Apparently my bottle was manufactured in April 2015 and it is no longer produced. edit June 2024 this stuff is in short supply now. Get it while you can, it's going extinct.

I ordered Trump Empire last Fall for shits 'n grins because it was dirt-cheap ($16 and change for a 100ml bottle), the novelty of having a Trump fragrance, and because Hillary offered no fragrance other than to complain how bad wearing a Trump fragrance would be. In other words, she made no scents (get it?) LOL! Anyway, as far as the fragrance goes...a solid pickup for the price and it even came with a faux leather bag, that is probably worth $10-$15 alone, that I occasionally use for day and weekend trips. Okay, Empire a pleasant department store fragrance, but it has a really nice mature and professional edge to it without coming across old man'ish. Envision Carolina Herrera making an office fragrance for The Donald that is based somewhat on Boss Bottled. and that 212 grassy notes..Voila!, you have Trump Empire. I wear this fragrance occasionally (like it but don't love it) and receive more compliments with Empire than I do Dior Sauvage, Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct, Armani Acqua di Gio and Bvlgari Aqva Amara. And it project very well too. I kid you not. In fact, I just had my girlfriend sniff the aforementioned scents and she picked-out Empire as her favorite. Go figure! Anyway, ignore the rage-filled haters who have shamefully never put their stuck-up noses on this fragrance and try it for yourselves. If you're looking for a more mature, professional, office type scent with a bit of that p@$$y-grabbing playfulness tossed in for a little excitement, then give this fragrance a tweet. I feel it was certainly worth the sub-$20 price this scent was going for last year, but not sure if I would pay $30-$40 it is now going for on the discount market. Peace!

This is a GREAT fragrance! A beautiful scent without a doubt! From the time I first bought this and started wearing it, I've had nothing but compliments from almost everyone that smelled this frag. People LOVE it! At least one compliment or positive comment on this one almost daily. Only a few people have turned up their noses when I finally tell them the name. Lol This is what we've become as human beings? This is truly a delightful, inoffensive, wear anywhere kind of scent. Casual, formal, etc. I never knew the name of this one and fell in love before a friend told me it is Trump Empire. Blind buy worthy IMO. It's that nice. It doesn't matter to me about the nonsense some reviewers have posted. People are trying their best to turn this into something because of their hatred for the man who's name is on the bottle. How petty that people would leave a negative review for a fragrance they never wore or even smelled. Doubtful they'd leave an honest review if they actually liked it. This fragrance smells much more expensive than it is. Don't pay attention to the name on the bottle. Pay attention to the very nice smelling scent in the bottle. Scent - 9.0 Sillage - 7.0 Longevity - 7.5 Value - 10.0 UPDATE: 11/1/2020 I have had numerous compliments this past week. "Hey, what is it that you're wearing? It's really good" Then I tell them.. "It's Trump Empire". All but one person asked where they can buy it at. Several women in their 20s and 30s in our office said they love it! Any age will enjoy this fragrance.

Definitely a Floral Musk. I think fragrances in this category can usually be used in all settings quite well. Very masculine and sweet, each time I smell it I always want to get closer to smell it, and I'M the one wearing it, haha. Would say it smells mature rather than young, but only in the way that it would make someone smell mature, rather than a young person couldn't wear it. The green apple is definitely present, but it nor the other "fresh" notes make it smell like a bath or something, thanks to the musk. Not to say it doesn't smell clean. Now it doesn't smell leathery, keep this in mind. But it reminds me of a nice leather chair. That sort of vibe. It smells like taking someone home at 2 AM, into a dim orange-lit room. Very good. Haven't met anyone who dislikes it. -update- Revisiting this guy, cause I smelled it again tonight and just realized how much I love it. I already have a bottle, but I'm ordering another cause I know I'm gonna want it. It's so sweet and in the most masculine, sexy way (I actually REALLY dislike sweet mens fragrances almost every time, I hate Dior Homme Intense, but this one is masterfully done). When I wear this, people adore it.

Glad to see some of the deranged posts were erased. • Surprisingly mild opening given the serious presentation. Musky green apple with creamy almond. • People comparing it to club fragrances because of the green apple are being misleading. It's not aggressive or candy-ish at all. It's a green apple wearing a wool blazer on an overcast day. • Drydown develops into an ashy tonka scent, still very subtle. • I find this formula very distinct and can't think of any direct comparisons. Not that it smells anything like them in terms of notes, but in terms of demographic (30+ male with traditional style), I could see it being in the rotation with Moustache, Eau Sauvage, Dior Homme, Lagerfeld classic, etc..

This is a great fragrance. It doesn't last as long on my skin as I would like, but it's decent and on par with many designers in terms of performance. The smell reminds me of the 2023 Prada Ocean EDP. This one is less spicy and a little more floral, but very similar to my nose. I bought this as a fan of Trump, but I was truly blown away when I smelled it and it has gotten stronger and cleaner over time. I have been through well over 150 fragrances and my collection currently sits at 65. I have several Creed, PDM, Dior, Tom Ford, Etc. And this fragrance has the same level of enjoyment for me. It's one of those ones that makes me feel like I smell great whenever I catch a whiff.

I write my review in the form of a story... I have a very liberal friend who has always taken an interest in my scents and enjoyed smelling me. One day I showed up wearing Trump Empire...with a wide grin on my face. The smell drove her nuts. She loved it. When asked what it was, I refused to say. That drove her more crazy. This went on for a few days. She begged me to tell her. Finally...I told her what it was. Her face went white and the smile on her face disappeared. I commented "I bet you don't like it anymore!" She just shook her head and walked away. Love him or hate him...Trump Empire is a terrific fragrance. Everyone thinks so. Until you tell them the name!

A pleasant scent overall, with some muskiness that reminds me of some of the older classic men's fragrances. Definitely masculine without being overbearing of cloying (even in the heat). Funny story: A co-worker asked me what I was wearing the other day. Keep in mind that she was a Democrat Elector in the last Presidential election. When I told her what it was, she said "Well, at least he can do one thing right!". I had to laugh- hey, if that's what it takes to begin moving towards the middle and out of the silos that have formed in our nation, I'm down with it...

I saw this for sale and looked it up to see what the ***fragrance*** was all about. I love how people are so triggered they searched a person's name on Fragrantica just to put dislikes, female leaning, way overpriced, very weak stats on something they never even had. Just because of this I had to buy it and am eagerly awaiting to get it in the mail. I'm going to wear the hell out of this and hope for compliments so I can say the big bag "T" word. I'm quite excited. From the looks of it, it's good stuff as well.

I just got this today and sprayed it on. It reminded me of fragrances like Montblanc Legend, Bleu de Chanel but mostly The Scent of Peace for him by Bond no 9. I smells good, no doubt about that. Somewhat mature, expensive and for a night out since it makes a statement. I have a habit of not casting the final judgement until I have "lived" with the fragrance for a while and worn it 4-5 times so I might edit this review. But it smells really good to me. I really don't see why it has so many dislikes.

Don't be fooled by the dislikes folks. There's a few extremely sensitive people that can't separate their politics from their love of fragrances. If you hate this amazing man, why are you even searching his colognes? There is a fragrance for you though... it's called Obsession. MAGA! That being said, picture yourself relaxing by a freshwater river or brook flowing through a gorgeous pine forest on a beautiful, foggy morning... Yeah, Trump Empire is kind of like that.

I own all three and this is my favorite of the Trump fragrances. I enjoy wearing it in a suit and it has a strong masculine smell to it. It has a smell of a much more expensive fragrance. I smell the tonka and musk the most and they are a great mix with the other notes. This is in my top 10 most worn fragrances and I purchased the 1.7 ounce and plan to order the 3.4 ounce.

This is wonderful!! The listed notes are right on the mark. Its sweet, without being sweet. Its a little tart without being tart. Its simply great! Masculine, classy without being snooty or uptight, and in my humble opinion, versatile. I wear this wear this to work, and i wear it going out. It builds a wall of wonderful-ness!! Will definately be buying more!

Empire is a solid fragrance from top to bottom. I think it's nicely blended and the performance is great on me. The Mint and Green Apple make it suitable for Spring/Summer and the Tonka Bean, Amber and Musk make suitable for Fall/Winter. I'm happy with it and would recommend checking it out.

Fruity fresh uplifting apple with a little musk. Puts me in a good mood. Lasts almost a whole work day on me, don't be afraid to spray a little more than usual. Cuts through and carries very well through circulating air and has good sillage. Hidden gem and compliment getter!

I don't have a signature scent, but this is one of my most frequently reached-for bottles. The scent is fresh and commanding, and the fact that I can say "Empire by Donald Trump" when asked what I'm wearing and watch people quickly change the subject is a great bonus.

this cologne is great, simply great. wear it to work, wear anytime. this is the price range all perfumes should be. buy the watered down second generation of the over-priced stuff, i prefer what smells nice. i will buy another and recommend it to everyone.

The scent itself, the amber and tonka are subdued and this does have a light sweetness similar to 212 vip or the latest release from Sean John. Lasts 5 to 6 hours for me and the tea note is a classy addition reminiscent of hanae mori him.

Like making love to a well-groomed gipsy after a night of music, dancing, and drinking near the campfire. Then all wrapped up after a long hike home through the night-filled forest. But when you get to town, everyone knows what you did.

OK, here goes... I LOVE this! It smells very similar to VIP 212 but lasts a little longer and smells a little better. I've also received more compliments wearing this then all my other 150+ frags combined.

this shit is pretty darn good..kinda regret just getting a 50ml bottle and i can't seem to find any now!! its a very unique scent and i would say it leaves impressions. more of a night scent

It's a lovely fresh, good quality fragrance. I love it on my husband, and he gets loads of compliments! It's one of our favourites, and the bottle is gorgeous!

Look at the notes tell me I’m lying ... yadda yadda ! Luna Rossa Black is a clone of Trump Empire . That’s all ,I own both . Both are great equally IMO!

I love, and reach for this all the time. A fantastic everyday pleasing scent. Incredible longevity! Great summer scent. Good job Donald.

Also .... Empire has a very nice Amber in the dry down , a clean Amber note in a relatively cheap fragrance is not easy to find .

why there are so many dislikes.... i bought it as a gift pack along with the duffle bag and dammmmm it defines luxury!

Severly underrated fragrance. It’s great. Very pleasant. Classy and fresh. A should try.

I think it is important to PROTECT our fragrance enjoyment away from politic! ************************************************************** Smell like Sweeter but Weaker Ferragamo F Black ************************************************************** My 1st impression is that I owned something similar. It smell a like a sweeter Ferragamo F Black without the annoying Black Pepper + Coriander that cause people around me to sneeze: • Trump OPEN with heavy dose of Green Apple • F-Black OPEN with heavy dose of Green Apple • Trump Stay Linear, maintain its Green Apple smell • F-Black turn PEPPERY as Black Pepper + Coriander induce heavy sneezes to people around me. Not recommend in hot summer • Trump END with Tonka + Amber • F-Black END with Tonka + Labdanum They smell similar, If you like F-Black, then you will like Trump. Personally, I think Trump smell more natural less peppery, and is smoother blended. F-Black has a very strong synthetic opening, a very peppery middle that can be offensive, but ended nicely. Both are winners, but Trump smell better to me, while F-Black gather me more compliments as well as more complain due to its peppery notes. GOOD: ☺Smell very Nice, Masculine, yet Sweet ☺Great Dating Fragrance (have to be close to smell it) ☺Good Longevity due to its Sticky Sweet Amber + Tonka BAD: ☹ "Trump" is a Trigger words in today's hostile politically correct world ☹ Sticky fragrance don't project, very tiny scent bubble ☹ sits very CLOSE to skin, more like a 5~6hr skin scent ☹ Not a Compliment Getter, because people can't smell it Trump is basically a more Natural, less aggressive, sweeter version F-Black without the annoying black pepper. It is a Sweet yet Masculine, with a strong Green Apple notes from the beginning to the end. It is a good blind-buy worthy as long as you are Mature Enough to push aside politic from fragrance enjoyment.

People are grading "dislike" because they disagree with him on politics, so it has nothing to do with this scent. It has the 212 VIP and Bond No 9 Bleeker Street scent like, which are good fragrances. This is a good scent for the professional crowd, especially for those 35+ years of age. I can see a businessman or politician wearing this frag. It does have a initial top note of some freshness, like a mature adult who just stepped out of the shower. I thought of wearing something like this if I was in my 50's or so. I don't know if Trump wears all of his frags whenever it's out, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he did. I would be somewhat surprised if he's just putting his name on them to sell or actually smell it first prior to approval, since he's a straight businessman who usually thinks about finances. He should come out with a new presidential one that's a bit more fresh and citrus to appeal to younger professionals (like YSL La Nuit or Bvlgari Man), a summer-type fragrance. There's no doubt in my mind the overall rating for Empire has been influenced by political opinions more than olfactory opinions. I was surprised by this, it actually smells really good! It's a unique sort of amber-floral oriental with some tonka and a certain combination of fresh notes that keeps it from feeling heavy in the way that some orientals are. It's a bit powdery which gives it a semi-formal feeling but it's still very easy to wear. While I don't pick up on green apple or mint specifically, there's a really nice blend of notes in empire that adds a lot to the tonka/amber and floral aspects and it works well. I'm not going to say that this is amazing or the greatest scent of all time or anything, but it's definitely competent--very smooth overall and nothing seems out of place, a sort of unique blend of notes which give it some distinction, and what seems like reasonable performance so far. Considering the prices it goes for online, it's a good value. Final rating 7.5/10, subject to change as I gain a little more experience with it, possibly an 8/10.

This is a gem for sure, bought the whole gift set twice, it came with a 3.4oz bottle, deodorant, aftershave, and shower gel for under $22 each. Empire smells like a $100 designer bottle. I gifted to my brother which has several social encounters, he's extremely happy of all the compliments due to Empire yet shocks people when they ask for the name. This reminds me of Paco Rebanne 1million but soapy and not overly sweet, it also reminds me of Ysl La Nuit De L'Homme and Dior Sauvage from mid to dry down. Blind buy worthy for it's versatility and price.

I can't stand most of the "celebrities" who have their name attached to a fragrance (i.e. Paris Hilton, Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Donald Trump, etc), but that doesn't mean a fragrance is bad! This is a nice unoffensive scent that shares some "DNA" with Ed Hardy Villain for Men Christian Audigier. It's a fresh semi sweet office scent, that is a bit better than a skin scent. Not bad, but not a frag I would buy again or recommend. I would buy this for a family member who likes Trump, as it is a pleasant wearable scent! Happy Smells to you!

This is a pleasant masculine scent that is great for the indoors and social situations. I get the apple the most along with the tonka bean and it smells very good! This is a good and very classy fragrance and it's more on the subtle side. I would say this is more robust than the Trump Success which is more of a light and powdery fragrance. If you had to choose between the two I would go with Trump Empire! This one is good! I give this a 8.7/10

I wore this for a while because it had a good, sweet apple fragrance to it. It didn't pop out to other people over time so I used the rest of it to spray it on myself after I got finished hitting the gym. Recommend as a entry-level, cheap cologne for helping you on your fragrance journey. Didn't really care who's name was on the bottle, I'm, instead, influenced by the scientific aspect of fragrances.

Clean and sophisticated. Made me think of an enormous empty lobby with black marble flooring and immaculate fountains containing koi fish. Doesn't project beyond an arm's length and after a trip to the gym followed by a 6 mile run in 92 degree weather I would still catch whiffs of it now and again.

This cologne smells like Nikos Sculpture, Le Male EDT and Bond no9. Laffayette Street kinda mix, a basic Fresh Orange Blossom Powdery and White Flowers, is just ok, lacks longevity too, this cologne price is getting high around $40 plus, still a great piece of collection!

Can someone remove the reviews in Arabic that are mocking the President and adding nothing to the perfume discussion? This is no place for your politics.

This fragrance is pretty mass-appealing and good for colder months. Well blended, smooth, soft, and performs average. 7/10

Opening isn’t very great but man this gets better and better every hour. Awesome drydown and fairly unique.

This is an interesting scent, though it sort of contradicts itself (just like you-know-who!). There's the thick tonka/amber/suede element but also the juicy/minty/tea/laundry musk one. Tying the two together, for those who like this, is a subtle spiciness. I just did a dab sampling but I look forward to a regular wearing, and then I'll update. It doesn't go too far in any direction, for those who fear a particular note, and there's no fougere/lavender/old school barbershop quality; it's also only a touch sweet. Niche aficionados might not like the laundry musk (they'd probably rather have a lot of iso e super or cashmeran instead), and the amber isn't along the lines of a Lutens type rendering, but it is at least somewhat unique, at least by today's designer standards. It's got a touch of 1 Million, a touch of Code, etc., but goes in its own direction, and is pleasant (unlike you-know-who LOL). UPDATE: This seemed to get stronger over the first couple hours, and it felt sweeter, with a kind of powdery yet thick quality, along with a touch of a metallic element. For me, the fun part is definitely over now, perhaps not all that unlike those who experience a sharp rise in their health care premiums after thinking they were going to get "the greatest health care in the world" at really low cost when they voted for you-know-who. However, if you want a somewhat heavy/powdery scent (good for cold days) that doesn't have the typical "masculine" lavender/fougere element and also don't want strong spiciness, this is now selling for prices that are very reasonable. The laundry musk quality doesn't dissipate, though it's not obnoxious here (unlike you-know-who), which may or may not be to your tastes. UPDATE #2: Wore it yet again and this time I'm getting a bit of a note clash in the drydown. Prices are low now (I wonder why) so it's worth sampling if you think you'll like it, as it's interesting, certainly not exactly like any other scent I've tried, and there's nothing unpleasant about it. I've just go so many bottles that I'm trying to stay away from ones that aren't really pleasant to me. By contrast, I seem to be enjoying Excellence by Jaguar more and more (EdT), which is somewhat similar, but more to my preferences.

I get the Admins not wanting to be political on this site but I think ANY president who had a fragrance line would get the funniest comments... look at some comments on celebrities lines! I am predicting his next launch must be peach based... ;-)

I just had to see if Trump actually had a fragrance line. His next one should be called "Grab them by the pussy". ;-) Or perhaps a citrus one as he seems such a fan of orange. OMG a Niki Minaj style Trump Fume with the hair and face...I would actually buy that.

It smells almost as good as the President's breath after a couple rounds of golf. But be forewarned: this cologne is only for winners. If you are a loser, wear something by Guerlain. They don't know anything about how to make a fragrance.

Top notes start off fresh and crisp like newly laundered sheets. Quickly turns bitter, animalic. Finishes with pine, hardwoods, and smoke. Best worn at night.

At this point, given all we’ve been through, it is inconceivable to me that people would voluntarily give this guy (more of) their money. The fact that it’s called ‘Empire’ is ironic as well, almost like he’s trolling us. I don’t care what it smells like, I don’t care if it was free, over my dead body would I wear anything with that freak’s name on it. I can think of many things it should be called, like ‘Grift’ —or ‘Demented’ —or ‘Narcissistic’ —or ‘Insatiable’ —or Eau De Crétin dégoûtant
