Light Him

nobody talks about this fragrance but trussardi light deserves more attention. it's not your boring summer edt, trussardi light has its own personality. regarding the scent, the opening is a bit strange, maybe for the mix of yuzu and grapefruit. the drydown is a great blend of cedar, soft oakmoss and guaiac wood. trussardi light gives to you a "fresh out of the shower" sensation with something more. a bit aquatic, a bit woody, in my opinion we call it "gucci rush sport", just because i detect something in common between the two. i appreciate a lot this edt for the fresh and invigorating vibe so the best season to use is the summer, especially in the warmest days. of course with a name like "light" u cant expect a good performance, 3-4 hours longevity with a moderate projection in the first hour. so it's not your date scent but a mood-booster in the hot summer. for 25 and up. very 90's, very trussardi! bel profumo, leggero e rinfrescante con qualcosa di particolare. peccato per la scarsa performance. scent-8 long-4,5 sillage-5,5 uniqueness-8,5 bottle-6,5 versatility-8 compliment factor-6 my vote-7,5 in one word- quiet

I’m beginning to feel like people are just trolling whenever I see Gucci Rush being mentioned in the “This fragrance reminds me of” section. To those wondering - this smells nothing like Gucci Rush. Anyhow, this discontinued fragrance is a lovely concatenation of contradicting notes, but the main key players headlining the show are Lime, Basil, Iris, Red Pepper, moss and some woods. That red pepper/paprika here hovers around in the background giving things a kick, it’s felt throughout the entirety of the fragrance. Its fresh, but very very different from many of the freshies in today’s market. It definitely smells Italian and of high quality as expected from the underrated Trussardi house. As the name suggests, it’s a Light fragrance, so don’t expect much in the projection department. Longevity is average. Overall, It’s a unique fragrance and definitely one that should not be overlooked amongst the list of discontinued gems.

This was sooo perfect! Fresh out of the shower light citrus with some longevity. It's been so long since I've worn it, that I can't go into more detail other than to say that I really loved it, and it reminds me a bit of Paul Smith Story.

This was SO good! Very light & fresh, and fairly unique in its category. Nothing I've tried has quite replaced it.

It smell like pine nuts. Refreshing invigorating but also creamy and architectural. It was really original in 97. Trussardi Light Him opened a gate and i think Gucci Rush for man and some others have followed it.

Please help!!! I used to wear this as my signature fragrance since it was released in 1997...I really liked it and it got me a lot of compliments (it was unique - it was released around the same time as D&G Light blue pour homme which became a lot more popular and it was similar in a lot of ways, although Trussardi was definitely more masculine). Around 2002 something happened...either there was a note in the composition which went off with time or it was reformulated, all I know is that it started smelling as if it had "gone off" (I bought a couple of bottles and had issues with all of them - there was an ongoing issue with the bottle which did not have a proper cap but only a flimsy flap which barely covered the nozzle) and soon thereafter it was discontinued. Does anyone know what happened and more importantly, does anyone know if another perfume/cologne/aftershave comes close to this perfume as it was originally? Has Trussardi ever released anything else similar to this? I was never able to find anything else as good as Trussardi Light Him (2007 formulation) and eventually I descended into madness...

hey hey how on earth that i am the one and only who has written a comment about this magnificent scent ??? its a pity has been discountinued,would like to spray it like i did in the late 90 s. generally i dont think much of italian fashion houses citrus/aaromatic /frags but LIGHT is different. maybe it s because the base notes correlates with friuts accord but somehow the resul is phenomenal and intriguing. i have tried the woman version as well but prefer the male edition...

Woody, green, fresh and citric classic that was rather popular among the 20 something crowd when my mom sent me out to the UK for high school. Worn by some of the Italian fashion houses loving new school 90's mods in Manchester, London and the likes. Sadly it's long gone, but it was a solid gem.
