The Paintings of Palazzo Reale

The Paintings of Palazzo Reale Trussardi took my be surprise! Man this thing is heavenly beautiful! i was in a Niche store in Istanbul thro the chit chat with the owner of the shop i have told him that am looking for a perfume with a modern incense scent. he told me i just brought the new collection from the house of Trussardi and i have this one which is became his favorite recently. the touch of OUD is really light and boatful not skunky one at all. it only papers in the drays down and so refined man it was just one spray on my arm and this think hit my brain with how boatful and loud. starts with sweet nutty vanilla then within one minute the beauty of the Dates mixed with a great smell of modern elegant incense that i haven't smelled before! a beautiful non smoky one it didn't toke me even 5 minutes to decide. i got one 100 ML full bottle this thing is so so gourmandy and so powerful in a good way, but be aware you only need 3-4 spray because this thing is a killer! and fells the room one of my friends told me ..WOWZA you smell so Chic! as well as so many complements from alot of ppl Sent 10/10 Longevity 10/10 (10-12 hors long ) Projection 9.5/10 Uniqueness 10/10

Smell divine. In the opening very much like Farah - Brecourt and Dates Delights, but after a couple of minutes the oud apear and covers all the dates and plums. It is not skanky or animalic, it is a very wearable oud, very pleasent. Very well blended, moderate projection and sillage. I still smell it after 6 hours, but it is a skin scent.

This perfume is exactly what I have been looking for: sweet, spicy, incensy, original. It reminds me of Armani Prive's Bleu Lazuli, if the olibanum/balsam is added. Just perfect!

Really potent stuff, but smells really good. No dirty oud at all it’s all very pleasant....just don’t spray a lot

From the descriptions on here I somehow thought this was going to be way more gourmand, sweet, or baked goods scented- I was imagining a unisex or masculine version of Dior's Hypnotic Poison based on the notes. It's nothing like that. I was wrong but now I understand the descriptions everyone was giving. Initial spray is strongly camphoraceous and medicinal and alcoholic- I was afraid I had a fake but then the scent mellows out. I had asked my mom to smell it and she said it reminded her of eucalyptus at the beginning. There's a spicy but sweet note in this that reminds me of artificial cinnamon potpourri fragrances. JPG La Belle and The 7 Virtues Cherry Ambition has this too. From what I remember about The 7 Virtues Cherry Ambition, Trussardi's Paintings of Palazzo Reale is like the more masculine version of that fragrance. They both start out with a sweet but strong spicy artificial cinnamon and dry down to a sweet, woody, and smoky incense scent. I can't remember if Cherry Ambition was also boozy but Paintings of Palazzo Reale has a slight boozy drydown along with the sweet, woody, and incense notes but it doesn't make you smell like a wino. The drydown finally does let the vanilla and almond do their thing and start to smell more edible sweet. May also have the bandaid smell during drydown. Both the Trussardi and 7 Virtues teeter on smelling like room deodorizer but I feel like Paintings of Palazzo Reale is higher quality and despite smelling really strong it's not headache inducing to me. Gotta spray this on my boyfriend to see if he cares for it since he liked The 7 Virtues Cherry Ambition. Glad I blind bought it even though it wasn't what I imagined it would be. It's still a lovely high quality fragrance with beautiful packaging and bottle. I want to collect more Trussardi fragrances with the Levriero dog heads. Just like Trussardi's I Vicoli Via Fiori Chiari, The Paintings of Palazzo Reale is addicting to take whiffs of. I also get nostalgia about a note in this scent but I can't remember or describe what I think I smell? It just reminds me of some candy or confection from Mexico and I have no idea what it could be? Pink marshmallows? Sugar coated gummy candies? It's gotta be some fragrance chemical in this that wasn't common or has since been banned in food use or something? Edit: I had my boyfriend try out both I Vicoli Via Fiori Chiari and The Paintings of Palazzo Reale and he liked this one and wore it.

It was a blinde buy to be honest. The notes were so luring so I ordered it! The official page says that they wanted to creat a Milanese dessert like scent which is based on rice and milk. I couldn't finde that specific dessert, but if it exist than it's a realy spicey dessert. It realy make sense that this fragrance remindes you of a dessert like scent, but the opening is a bit chalangeing I think. It opens with a blast of spices and a strog note which can be the "sweet oud" or the gurjan balsam with the cardamom. Strong but not stinky! But after the drydown the dessert like scent starts to appear. And it has a finale drydown which is a more plesent part of the fragrance and it's realy a skin scent, in the finale drydown. I like this fragrance but I think it's not for everyone. Test it on your skin firt, becouse it takes 1 hour to reach the good part of the fragrance. Give it time! And lets hope it will works well with your chemistry. It's perfectly unisex, don't judge it becouse of the opening. (Edit: I noticed that when I tested it on otheres. That the scent itself in the air doesn't have that strong spiceyness, which you feel close to the skin. You maybe smell a strong spicey scent on yourself, but everyone around you will smell the dessert like sweet, "little spicey" fragrance.) :) If you ask me, I think it's realy a bit similar (not the same!!!) to Gris Charnel Extrait becouse of the strong cardamom. But I think it also has a little bit similar vibe with Viktoria Minya - Hedonist Rose Absolute becouse of the sweet oud they used. Date Delight just has a distant vibe with it. Also with Desert Suave.

Toasted Pecans and Almonds! I just got this yesterday so probably need to give it a few more wears first. I first did this a disservice by spraying this on a strip. Yeah don't do that. This absolutely needs to mix with your chemistry, oil, and body heat in order to shine. And boy does it ever. I blind bought this according to the notes all of which im a fan of. Im not disappointed. Very rich, and luxuriously sweet scent. Nothing headache inducing. For me it projects well and lasts well over 8 hours on my skin and clothes. If you are a fan of scents like dates delight, Angels share, or pretty much any vanilla boozy honey gourmand style scents, then you won't be disappointed in this fragrance. Very unisex. Note breakdown: sweet: Yes rich and warm. Extremely pleasant. Non headache inducing. fruity: Maybe a little Plum in the opening. honey: Yes it shares the main stage with the Almond Milk, and Dates. oud: Definitely here but not to be feared. It's blended so well that it helps project with the sweet elements rather than fight with them. almond: Yes and its so delicious. The note is almond milk and it does have a lactonic quality to it. vanilla: Front and center! warm spicy: Yes it has that middle eastern style spice to it. fresh spicy: My guess is they put this here because Cardamom is listed in the breakdown but like the oud it works to boost the other elements than trying to run the show. nutty: Yes! I get a toasted Pecan/Almond accord in the base that happily sticks with me for the whole ride. amber: Yes its there especially after the dry down.

I am kind of sensitive to oud so this perfume is very oud-heavy for me (though to someone who likes it it might be a barely noticeable thing). I like it to an extent, but I don't think it suits me. I might wait to give this a go in autumn/winter and then pass it on to someone else.

The opening is very strong, sweet incense-like blast of everything. I love cardamom and I love dates, honey and resin notes, but all together at once, it feels so heady. Later on, the spicy part becomes clearer, nicer, a bit playful even. I appreciate that once all the skins are shed, a simple and masterfully crafted backbone of cardamom and oud remains. But until that moment, this goes on so overloaded with notes, different angles and shapes heading to all directions, that I'm starting to think it's the spirit of true historical Baroque embodied into olfactory art. I had similar experience with Porta Venezia. This is serious stuff, definitely calling for a nice dress and a special occasion in public.

Its a very nice, warm sweet but at the same time woody fragrance. Reminds me of TF tobacco vanille but its much more worth it.
