By Your Side

I ordered it based on the data here and I was expecting to get a leathery, smoky, very masculine and dark-ish fragrance. To my (very pleasant) surprise, it’s WAAAAAY better than that. First of all, it’s rather woody than leathery, i don’t detect much smoke and also it has a lingering sweetness in the background. You can somewhat feel the leather, yet it’s more like a very expensive leather item someone already owns and it doesn’t have that store new smell, it has some personality. Then i can detect something that feels woody-aromatic and rich, like an aromatic oil of some type, which added to the very nice cedar and other woods makes you feel like you’re in the spa of a 5* hotel. In the beginning, i think the sweetness comes from the cardamom and maybe a hint of frankincense, but it’s more of a final touch for roundness. All in all, one of the best perfumes i’ve smelt in a long time. It feels classy, elegant, a tad masculine. I think it would work amazing both in a work environment on a very charismatic person and also at a date night, where it feels like it is your signature scent and you exude confidence. As it dries down, the leathery facet becomes more prominent and makes you feel like you own any space you put your step in.

Finally a fragrance that is incensey, woody and smoky with very little sweetness that is 100% unisex that females can wear confidently too! Picked this up from Mecca yesterday as I loved it on the test strip. Today I’ve put it on. It’s 24 degrees Celsius today and it’s the perfect weather for it. Definitely something that can be worn year round but I’d probably reach for something a little lighter when the temp is over 30 degrees. As for silage and longevity, it’s not beast mode, but this is the one case where I wouldn’t want it to be. Lasts 5-6 hours on skin, people standing next to you can smell it easily, but it doesn’t bomb everyone out in a room. If you’re looking for a scent to share with your partner, this is perfect. And as a woman, I instantly feel confident and quietly sexy when I wear this. I fkn adore it.

by your side feels like its lineage is rooted in obscure Chanel: Le Lion, Bois des Iles or Coromandel but with a more intimate sillage and less concern for making itself known. Where the mentioned scents hone in on their sexuality through detachment, by your side makes an artform out of quiet intimacy, and makes me appreciate my body more for what it is rather than what it's wearing.

By Your Side has become one of my go to scents ever since I got it. This reminds me of Tom Ford’s Ombré Leather but a bit softer and more incense leaning. It’s unisex and intoxicating, and I really feel like I can wear it any time of the year, day or night. Amazing fragrance.

i love this scent so much. incredibly warm and unique. makes me feel enigmatic and sexy. beautifully suede-y while the pink pepper kick makes it interesting. perfect for fall evenings

I tried several of Tsu Lange Yor's perfumes at a local department store, and By Your Side was by far my favorite. This is very frankincense-forward, which I love.

what the???? these notes don’t match my expierence with this at all. I get plenty of leather and pepper but this also smells faintly like powdered sugar or vanilla syrup and ylang ylang on me? It could be a sweeter frankincense perhaps? basically a cross between two of my favourite perfumes encens suave & ylang cananga but I feel completely duped by these notes? i understand this is possibly just my skin being insane. i get no smoke thank GOD. Lasts well.

The leather is more prominent than I expected but not cloying as some other leather fragrances can be. The marketing for By Your Side paints it as an intimate, romantic, and candid fragrance but honestly I feel Luca or even TLY5755 do a better job of this. Overall a pleasant everyday warm fragrance that could even work in warmer weather but ultimately a linear leather scent. If you're looking for an everyday leather then I'd recommend By Your Side.

This is the sexiest scent that I have ever used. Its warmth makes me smile, and I feel pretty confident while wearing it. I use it day or night, but I lean more towards night use. Dates or dinners, By Your Side makes me feel nostalgic in a good way, evoking special moments from memories and ready to make new ones. It's intimate and I will definitely keep it as one of my favorite scents.

A soft easy going scent that you can wear at any time or occasion Somehow unique with a calming effect for me at least It lasts for a good while then it disappears after a couple of hours To be honest I couldn’t get any notes exactly as they are it was sort of a chemical mix I wouldn’t wear it everyday but it cool enough to enjoy in a pleasant day

Smells like a less funky DS&D Radio Bombay to me! I mainly get dry woods, then something sweet buried at the very bottom. Definitely unisex. Don’t think I like it enough to buy a sample but I won’t completely write it off quite yet.

its a pretty light spice scent

considering my dad never comments on my fragrance, he picked up on this even after 3hrs of wear. its a dry clean peppery scent that has so much power. its so clean and suede like. on paper it may seem like a standard woody complexion, but the way it has been blended together gives it such a unique character. completely unisex and a great addition

a bit masculine at first, smells like a well-loved leather bag (in a good way). i might have a sensitive nose because the pepper was a bit intense for me at first, but the dry down is much creamier! i fell in love after a few hours of wear and regret not buying it when i was in store. it's beauuuutifully unisex

I've only briefly tried a couple of this brands offerings, but the notes and description sounds good so I'm totally up for trying this one.

This definitely smells intimate, almost a body scent. No mochi smell, why is the photograph on his official website showing mochi?

I find it to be very.. body odour-y. It smells like flesh, a warm person.
