Awaken Distilled

I waited until all the influencers on YouTube finished with all the promotional 2024 , BS and then I went out and sniffed this fragrance at my local Nordstrom and I really liked the fragrance. 2026 I bought this fragrance for 60.00 and Im so happy with this fragrance because it smells really good to me and it has amazing sillage and projection. This is a fragrance that has great versatility and lasts all day on my skin and clothing. It's funny how I don't hear too many of the YouTubers talking about this fragrance anymore? My point is that I have learned to take what you hear on YouTube with a grain of salt and use your own judgment and go sniff for yourself because that's how you develop your own taste and style when it comes to fragrances. All that being said, I believe Tumi did a decent job with this fragrance and this can be worn all year in all seasons fresh, sweet, 🍊 citrus, woody fragrance thats not mind blowing niche but it's good.

This fragrance is not for frag snobs. Do not listen to them. This is a clean fresh fruity Extrait de Parfum that actually lasts about 6 to 7 hours. It smells very good. It may smell like a mix of different frags but who cares..it smells very good! I will say the only down side is it's price, but Tumi isn't trying to sell to the average joe unfortunately. As Tumi is a high end luggage company, high end is their demographic. However, if you look around you can find a 100ml of other Tumi frags in the $50 to $65 range. I've found them as low as $45. I just got distilled for $74 from a series of retail discounts and a gift card from work. If I waited a little longer, I could have gotten it for $66. All good though. I love the quality. These are not cheapy stuff. If your looking for artistic niche then look elsewhere. If you're looking for a quality freshie this is good stuff. Just buy it on the low low.

After using, for the past 1 month, I can definitely say that Awaken Distilled is my favourite from TUMI right now. I used to like 19 degrees but the "macho" notes a la Aventus don't seem to be top for me, too common bloke alike notes. This one is... the most versatile, the cleanest and safest of them all, beside DUSK but that one is the lowest sillage of them all, low projection on Dusk. Yes I will repurchase. Well done TUMI. Pleasantly surprised by Awaken Distilled. A happy perfume, perfect for anything and anywhere. Excellent TUMI!

This is a classic fresh fragrance. Fresh and clean never goes out of style even if fragheads think it's boring. It does smell like aspects of YSL Y (EDT/Le Parfum). None of the medicinal notes in Y are here. I also get reminded of A&F Fierce. Maybe even very slight reminders of an Invictus style. But it does have it's own thing going on too, the fresh woods and patchouli are definitely there. I think it can be worn any season. I love this scent

It’s easy to reach for and it is similar to Wye without the price. I often spray Yea along with it. Or Fakhar black and it does it all for less really. But I really like this on its own. It has really nice citrus that dries down to a nice woody scent. All of it is fresh energizing. A very good masculine dumb reach imho.

This is great juice. strong and sticks around longer than other freshies. NO this is not a dupe you f'n tickytocky d-conoe's. Quality bottle, atomizer, and wow factor cap. Blind buy safe.

I feel like every man should have a fresh woody aromatic fragrance in their collection. Whether it’s YSL Y EDT, Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce, Calvin Klein Defy, Polo Blue, or even Percival from Parfums de Marly if you’re feeling fancy. In my collection, the fragrance that fills that role is Tumi Awaken Distilled, which I actually won at an office raffle about five years ago. Even though it’s called Distilled and is technically a flanker, don’t be fooled. You have more than likely smelled something like this before. This one may be a touch more woody and a tiny bit more spicy but thats about it. Performance has never been an issue for me. It lasts all day on skin and even days on clothes, so there’s no real need to reapply. Is it basic? Sure. Have we smelled something like this a million times? Probably. But if that’s the biggest drawback of this fragrance and others in this category, I’m more than fine with that, and that’s coming from someone who has tried just about everything across the fragrance spectrum. This scent profile is a classic for a reason. It works because it’s simple, masculine, and effective. A true dumb reach that just works. Can't go wrong here.

I have had this for about a year now. Smells great, although pretty basic, but man, does it pull compliments...a lot of them. Very easy reach. Extrait de Parfum, so the performance is very good. I think some will find this signature worthy. Can be worn year round. I think the value is their as well. Can be found for a good price at discounters. Would recommend to anyone that needs a daily driver.

This is a joint review of Tumi's Awaken and Awaken Distilled, which I tested on consecutive days. Awaken opened with an unusual scent that seemed more fruity to me than citrus-y. This was joined as the mid and base notes appeared by an interesting woody - resinous - conifer scent. The overall effect was somewhat medicinal, almost menthol (e.g. Vicks Vaporub) in character. The scent seemed to be pretty versatile, for any season. It wasn't overly fresh to be considered only good for summer but it wasn't overly heavy for cold weather either. Longevity was pretty good - got about 8 and half to 9 hours out of it. Projection was more moderate. Tumi's web page states that Awaken Distilled "is an intensified version of our original AWAKEN [08:00 GMT]. The woodsy citrus scent is a bold blend of Italian mandarin, bergamot, black lavender, amberwood, patchouli and cedarwood." "Woody citrus scent" is a good description. While similar to Awaken, Awaken distilled was more citrus-y and less fruity, while being a more pronounced woody scent with significantly less of the medicinal or mentholated character that Awaken displayed. Longevity and projection were about the same for me as Awaken. My personal preference would be for Awaken Distilled because of the reduced medicinal character.

Underwhelming tbh, as was with Tumi 19 degree. Boring and more synthetic version of Y EDT.

Smells just like Adidas ice dive

Smells sportive, perfume to go to gym. Like others said underwhelming. It's not unpleasant till the dry down... it gives a musty smell idk and quickly loses sillage.

An evil rejection of reality. Sticking in the senses like the aftertaste of cosmic horror, giving a corrupted underlayment to reality that tinges the skin of it with a lymphatic, jaundiced bruise. Have you ever experienced a piece of media that took wholesomeness or normalness somewhere just twisted enough to disturb you more than outrightly depraved horror? Something that makes you feel tainted for having experienced it? That is how this fragrance makes me feel. Wearing it makes me picture one of those bearded men that wear makeup and acrylic nails who always have that smug, "what an artist will die in me" look on their face. Opening clean and citric, smoothly tumbling into some sort of woody aromatic aquatic. But something builds underneath as it's shower gel qualities converge through the periphery to the focal center. An ugliness that doesn't belong, like an ice cream truck with a lolicon sticker on it, or the uneasy "help me" behind the eyes of someone's child that changes your first impression. It's extremely uncomfortable and dark. There are fragrances I'm told are disturbing. Fragrances I like. Paloma Picasso. Secretions Magnifiques. I'm tempted to say this is that for me, but that's oversimplifying to the degree of dishonesty. This isn't scary like a dark woods or alarmingly unpleasant. This is a feeling of evil, like someone close to you with a vampiristic satisfaction at the fact you'll never know their worst secret. I'm genuinely bothered by it. I've tried wearing it a few times and it disturbs me more with each wear. It reminds me of things and moments I really don't want to remember. Not in a way that triggers. Not a sensory unearthing of trauma. Something a little darker and stranger than that. Something I'd rather not get into in a fragrance review. I'm as disturbed that anyone likes it as I am disturbed by it. I suppose that's the personal nature of scent. It's like the ghost of a sin-darkened intellect clinging to something otherwise innocuous. To me, there's something very sick about it.

This is a clone house that implements slight variations to pre-existing fragrances. This excludes their one offering continuum which could be considered an original albeit it hints at others scents as well yet still remains its own composition. There’s nothing more to say besides this smelling like one of many iterations in the YSL Y line but with an overblown price tag because it’s supposedly an extrait.

All designer maisons engage in a pastiche of what the fashionable scent DNA of the moment so every designer-tier house is a clone house, so to speak...but I do understand where OnyxLotus is coming from (and wholeheartedly agree, BTW). Tumi's releases do feel like they're more overt in trying to recreate the original fragrance than other houses which take a particular scent DNA and spins it enough to where you feel it could be a flanker of the original. (I had to scroll down all the way because when people wrote "Tumi is not a clone house," I thought they were being sarcastic until I found the original comment.) This does smell a lot like Y EDP but made more obnoxious, if you could believe that's even possible. More Y than Fierce because it's more fresh than fruity. Annoyed at the gratuitous use of the word "extrait," (Tumi is of course not the only house that is guilty of labelling releases as higher concentrations that would have been called EDT two decades ago). Just because it has some tenacity on a blotter (but barely six hours on skin) does not an extrait make. It's like when OTC drug companies say "extra strength" or "maximum strength"—destroying the meaning all for the sake of adding a differentiator for marketing purposes. On the other hand at least they're not going the route of LVMH/Chanel where they make an abysmal EDT so that they can sell you an EDP, then an EDP intense, then a Parfum (three out of four of which are junk and shameless money grabs). Instead Tumi opts to make new clones ;)

Tumi Vibes, Citrus & Wood” I like this one a lot. There’s something about Tumi’s oils — a vibe no other brand seems to capture. The same essence comes through in the Distilled version and 19 Degrees, even if the notes differ. I can’t fully describe it, but I feel it. For a “freshy,” this kicks hard. The base has a Mancera Windwood-like depth — solid, grounding, woodsy. Distilled is similar. it is slightly better than regular Awaken. , minus the eucalyptus that gives a medicinal bite. Ok I like it a lot better. Is the price jump worth it for the added citrus? I could have bought 6.7 ounces of that for the price I paid for half 3,4 ounces of this. So yea Maybe.🤔 I wanted this over regular Awaken, and the fleeting citrus is delightful before the woods take over. It’s far from boring — I even debated this versus Spicebomb Extreme EDP for the same price. I went with this. No regrets.i need a fresh fragrance i actually love. Workday wear: solid. Except for that accidental splash of tobacco on my wrist. Damn it, man!

Unlike someone below said , Tumi is not a clone house at all!! I own all Tumi fragrances and have been using there business bags and luggage for many years now and what I can say without a doubt is they make exceptional fragrances of high quality as expected from a super premium Business luggage company and Tumi awaken / distilled is no exception ! Lasts long , projects and garners compliments while still being unique . Great job Tumi !!

this is a clone of y edp just more obnoxious. some people will like this. Edit I started liking this more, this is not the full note list, not niche quality but better than most designers it smells clean, fruity and woody with out being too sweet last and projects an almost perfect casual fragrance for a guy in his 20s, never blind buy anything there is no such thing as a blind buy fragrance.

Just sprayed it for the first time from my Macys sample box. Just one spritz to see what it’s like and I’m really digging this one. Can’t compare it to awaken or sauvage elixir since I’ve not smelled them. It is for sure a year round, day or night scent though. Performance seems like it’ll be good too. I’ll update after a full wearing.

I do not fw this. It has much more of the signature Invictus DNA to my nose than A&F Fierce, and the patchouli note is completely dominating the rest of the composition. I would honestly recommend Fierce or a Fierce clone over this any day; worst of both worlds.

This is the more mature version of the original. Pretty solid scent profile. Now in my opinion performance is average at best, I think the OG performs a lot better than this one but in terms of quality distilled miles ahead. TUMI is mid at best.

I like the smell but for me, it becomes very hard to detect after just a few hours. Confirmed with my gf and she could barely tell i was wearing a fragrance. Unfortunate
