Dusk

You guys are funny, I get no Eros at all from this. This is unlike any other entire fragrance that I have smelled before. Opens with crisp citrus, sweet violet and black pepper, as it dries down I clean musk and the amber are there as well. I get shades of CH Men and Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême, a dash of Y Le Parfum 2021, although it mostly does its own thing. The musk and amber truly set it apart from any of those. It does have a balance of sweetness and aromatic freshness that a novice nose may confuse for Eros-esque. Brilliantly blended, extremely high quality. A good balance of natural and intriguing semi-synthetic accords. Great performance for a freshie. Playful and bright, a perfect companion or signature scent for men and women alike, from the ages of 14-44. Extremely versatile and mostly a year rounder, I would only shy away from it in the extremes of hot and cold. A great buy if you can find it for under $100, which can be done if you purchase a bottle form someone that had the $175 pack of two 100 ml bottles. Alternately, you can get the double pack and sell the other one. This will undoubtedly be on discounters for under $120 by the end of the year and likely under $75 before Summer rolls around again. I love it and I'm so happy to have it in my collection. It did take quite a few wears to grow in me, I burned through multiple decants and factory samples before acquisition of my 98% full bottle second hand for $50 shipped. 91/100

Just tried this new release at a Tumi store in the mall and it is very nice. Dusk may look like a flanker of 19 Degree but it doesn’t smell anything like that one, however the quality of the ingredients and blending is very similar. The bottle is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen with its shimmering blue color actually resembling dusk. So the scent here immediately reminds me of Prada L’Homme, but if you added some light citrus notes in the top and completely removed the iris. That’s basically the vibe going on here and it is so good. This would be ideal for the office and any professional situations where you want something clean and refined but not overpowering. This is more of sillage fragrance than a projection one, and has some class to it with a slight soapiness, and it would make a wonderful addition to any office/work scent rotation. If the iris in Prada is too much then do check this out! Tumi has been killing it lately and this one is an extremely solid addition to their growing line of fragrances. I definitely plan on picking up a bottle at some point.

My 2nd favourite Tumi, after No.1 - 19 degrees (which is longer lasting, more projection and better sillage) So, bottle came, unpacked and all and... pleasantly surprised! It is something hard to define, doesn't feel like anything else but reminds of CAHS and a bit of Dylan Blue or even Eros (the minty part) but overall... Dusk does its own thing. The bottle looks amazing, TUMI branding is fantastic: the caps are full metal and painted better than some cars :) the bottles look amazing! Well done. As someone well mentioned below, it is a happy perfume and it can be easily wear almost everywhere, all hours, all seasons. It is also a clean frag, no oudy stankiness or weird sweet accents... is like fresh good laundry but with more depth but sophisticated and rounded. 6-10 hrs longevity, much more on clothes but it lacks projection, which for many like myself is a good thing sometimes. Overall impressed. Good job TUMI! Would I repurchase? Yes, just ordered a 2nd bottle for the sake of it and if needed can overspray without worries haha

Wow! I grabbed this at Macy's. It was on sale for $105 down from $175, but thanks to my job that gave me a holiday debit card I got it for $75. I used the rest of my card on the Awaken Distilled that was on sale for $93 and got that for $75 as well. Dusk is a nice warm weather frag that is quality. People keep saying Tumi is cheaply made synthetic stuff, but if you research you will find this is marketed by The Fragrance group that markets Lalique, Brioni and other high end brands. Glad Dusk dropped in price. It's too high at $175. That's dumb ridiculous. It's probably a little high for the $75 I paid for it. All frags are overpriced. However, considering it's in it's first year I splurged. Tumi Awaken, Awaken Distilled, Atlas, Continuum and Dusk I now own and all are great. Just wait for the prices to drop. I did on all of these and I am happy with them.

Tumi is underrated for fragrances. Continuum,and 19 Degree are unique and amazing offerings. Dusk is not revolutionary but it is awesome, especially in the dry down. Sweet powdery in the opening which is very clean and nice. As it dries down is where I start smelling my arm repeatedly. Very nice blend of citrus musky woody pepper notes. Well blended, and feels like something mass appealing and inoffensive. I think this is pretty versatile too, but leans evenings as the name may suggest. Happy to have this and wear it. My local Belk carries Tumi fragrances available to sample.

Like Bleu de Chanel? I give a couple spritzes on pulse points with exception for neck which gets Tumi Dusk. A woman who wears Coco Chanel and works in Macy's perfumes standing ten feet from us on our hike this morning said 'what do you have on?!" This one's a winner as is their 19 Degree. The Continuum ain't a slouch either. You expect an ultra luxury firm to crank out stank? Nah. Can't believe this stuff's made in the good ol' USA.

I am happy to have this one in my collection, I picked it up with 19 Degree while on sale from Belk. This is not ground breaking at all, but to me, this is the best version of the genre/type of fragrance is going for. I compare it to Le Beau and /or Coral Fantasy kinda vibe/sweetness. A little powdery, but not overly. I find that Tumi makes high quality fragrances. Get out and sample these if you can.

A good release from Tumi. Office Safe and in the same family as CAH, Versace PH, & Missoni Wave. All of which are similar enough themselves. Quality is solid and this should be a crowd pleaser. Nothing out of the ordinary, but I also don't think that's what Tumi is after.

Got two samples of this today and instantly bought a full bottle. This smells so freaking good!! I'm a female but I want it for myself and I want to smell it on my hubbs too cause....yummy!!!! It's so sexy and fresh and just a well rounded sweet manly fragrance.

A great, SLIGHTLY bit generic, blue scent with it’s own twist. If it were 20-30 dollars cheaper retail I would say it’s a def must buy. Wait for it to drop below 100 on discounters and it’s a top tier blue scent forsure.

Tumi Dusk is very easy to like. It's minty, slightly soapy, but subtle. There's a fresh aspect to this and definitely office friendly. It sort of reminds me of a premium version of Nautica Blue and my latest rack store blind buy Lattafa's Lail Maleki Moroccan Blue. Fresh, Blue, Soapy, Minty, Herbal slightly generic MB Legend edt-ish. Waaay overpriced considering there's very little sillage. I'm not opposed to overspraying, or carrying a decant with me, but for the price I'd go through a bottle way too fast. Quality does cost, but a little steep in my opinion. Longevity as intimate scent is decent, but doesn't project much. If you're going for this' just spray heavy on clothing and that should do the job. Overall really well done crowd pleaser and nothing divisive or offensive. Clean and safe pleasant scent.

Very nice smelling fragrance. An evening fresh blue scent. The majority of this is the Violet, pepper ,musk and vetiver. There is slight lemon but after the first minute I don't get it that much. But it's slightly there . So far I think this smells very nice and works in the evening for any season . Very versatile. Performance it does alright. A solid 4 hours with 5 sprays . As it dries down it does give me Montblanc individuel vibes. But the similarities are not that strong . I ended up not liking that Montblanc so if it smelled too much like that I wouldn't have liked this. Price, I wouldn't pay 175 for this.bor even anything north of $80. Timi usually go down to the 60 range. That's where I would buy this at. At 175 at the moment there is so much better to be had . I give this a 7/10

Reminds me of Eros and elements of Allure Homme Sport but in more of a blue style with a little touch of clean airyness to it. Day 1 of owning it after buying for £25 which is a relative bargain, so we will see how things develop. It's one of those scents that has a happy feel to it and you know will be mostly enjoyed by people around you. A very easy wear and is one that I know will just feel right to wear often when picking something feels overwhelming. Good for the day time and a bit of depth and smoothness for evening wear too.

I'm currently testing a sample of this. When I sprayed it on paper I was impressed. Then when I sprayed it on skin, I realized why I like it so much--it has an Eros vibe to it, and I love Eros. To me, owning a full bottle would be redundant as I already have Eros and Eros Flame, but I think most people would like this. Also, this didn't seem to have much projection. Not a beast for me, but still nice. Not everything (thank God) should be nuclear.

The opening smells like mint lemonade! It's really nice. Dries down to something a little more woody and subtle but stays fresh with the violet leaf. Kinda like a very toned down Versace Dylan Blue. Dusk is great if you're not looking for a loud frag. It's versatile and pleasing, can't really go wrong.

Best Tumi I've tried for sure. I liked it but a certain synthetic soapy or citrus note that holds it back from being a great fragrance. I see where the Allure and Luna Rossa comparisons come from for sure, they're definitely similar. But their smoothness is what keeps them a level above.

After trying a couple of unimpressive freshies from Tumi in Awaken and Awaken Distilled, I turned to Dusk, which appealed to me because of the violet leaf - one of my favorites notes. I was also intrigued by the wide variety of comparisons in the "reminds me of" section. At first sniff, I was not impressed by this one, either. It opens with a cheap-smelling citrus smell that anyone who has even an entry-level knowledge of fragrances has smelled before. It was, quite frankly, disappointing. The drydown goes in a completely different direction though, and which is where the Luna Rossa Ocean and Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme comparisons come in. It's a strong, warm musk note that totally replaces everything in the opening, warm and a little powdery. It also has a good amount of staying power, though this being an Extrait de Parfum it makes sense. This is still not a fragrance I'd want to run out and buy, but it's probably the best of the Tumi line that I've tried so far. You're going to want to get a sample first because of how different the drydown is from the opening.

I don't know why vanilla is not listed as a note. It has a medium-to-strong vanilla accord. When I first sprayed it I thought maybe it was tonka bean and it'll fade as it dries down. But it just got stronger in the dry down and now that's most of what I smell. I'm not a vanilla fan, so this is a no for me. I was mislead by how fragrantica described it. Good thing it was only a tester. EDIT: a friend that makes perfumes for a living said this can happen with synthetic/cheap amber oils. That's probably what's going on here.
