UDV Action

Excellent copy of Terré! Certainly missing notes in the above listing.

So I have come to understand that UDV Action smells a lot like Terre d'Hermes. I can't say that I would've known myself because I've never smelled TdH. All I can say is that UDV Action is a nice fragrance for a nice price. It's not anything fancy, but it's a really solid for what you pay. And the longevity is more like an EdC than an EdT, but who cares? It's so cheap you can reapply all you want. The longevity issue does become problematic when trying to get to the heart of this fragrance. It fades so fast on me. I get a bergamot, pepper and bitter orange mix with perhaps some vetiver and patchouli. It's really kind of hard for me to tell with this. But I suppose the orange and pepper stick out most of all the other notes to me. Again, the scent fades pretty fast, so this really doesn't develop on my skin. Nevertheless, it's a good deal for the price. I picture a successful man wearing a fancy suit somewhere in a big city wearing this (perhaps Allentown, PA). If you're looking for something nice to spray on for a few hours, I would recommend this.

Yes this is one of those alternatives to Hermes' Terre d'Hermes - the EDT of course not the Parfum version. The introduction started off more sharper with some spiced bitter citrus and of course perfume alcohol. For the dry-down, I got a lot of vetiver, patchouli and cedar while the bitterness of the citrus retained in the background - nearly identical to TdH . Performance wise.. again identical to Hermes' version on my skin. However, Action can come across as too medicinal and overly mature. Due to that nature, I sold off my bottle as I have no intentions of giving it a few more tries. On a great note, this can be had for cheap so if you are a fan of TdH.. try it out.

If it's related to Terre d'Hermes, it's not a close relative, more distant cousins than siblings. It's soapy and floral, unlike TdH, but there's definitely citrus and woods as well. On it's own, it's a clean, inoffensive, unisex scent that isn't particularly impressive but is likeable. Something for the office or running errands. Longevity is okay, but it sits close to the skin after the first hour. I probably won't purchase again, as these types of fragrances (including TdH) aren't super pleasant for me, but for the current FragranceNet price, less than 12 USD, it's worth trying if you're curious.

Very nice for the price, not for everyone, terre with more dirt,works very well on a cloudy/rainy day.. decent longevity, projection is more than I could ask for, from this kind of a fragrance, it smells much better when sprayed lightly, unlike adidas fragrances that you can barely smell.

Its a very good copy of Terre d'Hermes. You will get lots of compliments. Excellent stuff for 10€.
