UDV

This is a beautiful herbal and woody cologne that both fans of classic and modern colognes could embrace. It is very well executed, it smells clean, classy, not cheap at all despite its price. It has good longevity and sillage. I like it very much and it would be best suited for autumn/winter. Let me share a personal observation that some others may find useful. Some reviewers here -and elsewhere- have said that this cologne is sweet, others said that it is dry. Which is it? I was a little bit worried about the alleged sweetness of this. I would say that it is more sweet than dry, but that in a very manly way: not "fruity/chocolatey sweet" (Montblanc Individuel or some other more "modern" compositions) or "vanillic sweet" (Caron Pour un Homme). The "sweetness" comes, I would guess, from the interplay of musk/jasmine but it is extremely well balanced by the subtle bitterness of artemisia, the woodiness of patchouly/vetiver and something citric, which pushes it to a certain "dryness". It is "aperitif" sweet (as if one were smelling a glass of white non-dry Martini, Carpano or Gancia, for lack of a better description). In this sense, it reminds me of Jaguar for Men, another cologne which I like very much. Best

Quando vi as avaliações ruins desse perfume eu decidi comprar por incrível que pareça eu gosto de nadar contra a correnteza e experimentar na pele o que seria esse suposto cheiro de "urina de velho" e outras baboseiras que eu vejo por aqui , em resumo esse perfume me remete a sensualidade , é isso mesmo.... sensualidade, é libidinoso , me parece que jovens senhores na década de 90 curtiam esse tipo de perfume para encontros nos bares ao ar livre em Paris com madames em busca de um parceiro para a noite feliz ! Falando do perfume em si ele tem uma saída adistringente , ardida e aromática por causa da artemísia, sinto o jasmim (lado floral leve) e a virilidade do Musgo com um patchouli verde ...não achei tão terroso , ótimos para encontros como mencionei antes , mas encontros em locais sóbrios bares organizados com música ao violão , trabalho em escritórios ou climatizados ... Paguei 65 reais nisso rsrs , pechincha! Na mesma loja depois que comprei já estava por 52 (era pra eu ter esperado kkk ) enfim , é um PERFUMAÇO que entrega MUITOOO pelo preço que é vendido e remete ao homem decidido e funcional sexualmente falando , minha assinatura vai ser fácil fácil . It’s the most sensual perfume I’ve ever smelled—direct, unapologetic, and clearly designed for sex. It exudes virility and power when it warms on the skin, blending with sweat, saliva, and latex. While many believe that perfumes suited for these moments should be sweet, I completely disagree. However, the fragrance does have its flaws. First, there is a significant inconsistency between the olfactory pyramid listed on Fragrantica and the one published on the official website. I contacted the brand, and they confirmed that the official website provides the correct information. Still, I disagree, the site doesn’t even mention patchouli or oakmoss, which are the most prominent notes to my nose. Another major issue is the quality of the notes, especially the top notes. The opening smells bitter, almost like expired medicine or burnt rubber. Years ago, the perfume didn’t have this characteristic. I came here looking for similar fragrances with better quality, but as many have already pointed out, there’s nothing quite like this one. I hope it eventually draws the attention of renowned perfumers.

Fragrance reviews #2 This fragrance was given to me as a gift, and now that I've gone through most of my 60ml bottle, I am seriously considering about buying it again. No really, what's there not to like about this fragrance? It's very masculine, inoffensive, can be worn any season any time. This is the definition of a mass market cologne. Cuba, axe/lynx and Zara should be taking notes. I own a few bottles of fragrance and this is one of my most complimented ones. And it is spicy. Like REALLY spicy. A nice barbershopy scent with a little bit of an earthy aspect to it. On my skin it lasts for about 3 hours and projects decently for about an hour. The presentation is also very good for the price, both the box and the bottle. The atomizer has really nice distribution and it is also made out of metal, instead of the cheap plastic used in most varens fragrances. You could easily trick someone who doesn't know fragrances into thinking that you paid designer money for this one. Overall: Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 5/10 Projection: 5/10 VFM: 10/10

I can affirm, with tranquillity, that this cologne is one of the best colognes, considered as second line, I have worn in my entire life. I experienced my first bottle about 10 years ago and since this time I always have one at home. This is a scent that is extremely strong, conservative and that gives a very intense sense of confidence. I barely feel the citrus notes of lemon and Mandarin orange in the output. I feel only a very cool dose of mint which blends, rapidly, with the galbanum and a few more flowers. I also feel Violet and I'm sure there's jasmine in the composition. His base is drier, with wood notes, oakmoss and a dose of vetiver. It exhales a lot and lasts, easily, for about 12 hours on the skin. If I had to try to describe, quickly, what other cologne it recalls, I'd say none specifically. But I would risk saying it is almost a mixture of Kouros with a touch of Azzaro. Were you scared?

I bought this bc the notes sounded great and I was curious about the older reviews, pre-TikTok. The notes are exactly as described (you can literally read the aromachemical composition on the bottle), so you'll like it if you like that sort of thing. If you told me it was a new release from PDM, I would easily believe you--it smells smooth and expensive, and there's a warm, rounded sweetness to it even though it's very green/herbal/spicy on the surface. It smells (very faintly) good in the air, and even better up close. It's one of the few fragrances I can think of that last longer on skin than on clothes (Also, I just realized that the umbrella icon on the ratings page does NOT mean "rainy day", so I've apparently been recommending heavy, syrupy, tobacco-booze-cake-spice scents for dead summer this whole time. This IS a perfectly sound scent for a rainy day, though)

This is the game changer, when we scratch our heads looking confused. Is a masterpiece Indeed, affordable but ignored, UDV remain on its own, standing up for itself with a lot of character in the lowest places and dusty corners of drugstores around the world,the value inside the bottle is way above we would believe, this fragrance tells a story, it is dignified,authentic,seductive,wholesome,despite public ignorance regarding the brand and the bottle. This is a straight up masculine and have a lot of class, seems like poetry to me, is retrofuturist, or better saying, always relevant due its authenticity, I read somewhere that Style begins where fashion ends,this quote apply to this one, very much recommended, don't be a marketing victim and despise this very interesting composition, appreciate this art and thank me later. I just had my first frag compliment since covid began! Bought UDV for men 2 weeks ago and had been experimenting with it. Found out it only cost about 7 dollars for 60 ml and after reading reviews thought it might be to my liking. Cheap smelling? Well, it's 7 dollars. But enjoyable? Yes, I find it enjoyable so far for warmer summer days just bumming around the house. This morning I was cleaning the stairs of my old apartment building when my old neighbor (who is an avid gardener by the way and loves flowers) said out loud (Ooooh what smells so nice?) I knew right away it was me. So clearly it can produce some reasonable sillage in the first hour or two. She was a good 30 feet away, albeit in a close hallway. Unpretentious, a bit synthetic, but a real compliment getter from retired women. ;-)

This classic UDV is a great (I stress: great!) mossy patchouli scent. It's a great revisit on the very classic fougère/aromatic formulas (despite of the pyramid shown here), nothing that hard to understand, imo. - on that same range as Zino, Azzaro Pour Homme, Rive Gauche, the celebrated Beau du Jour (and this one is praised, 'cause maybe, you know, it's got the Tom Ford tag...). It does not smell cheap at all. No rough edges, nothing wrong with it, that's certain. C'mon, people. Let's show the love this little gem deserves. Stop looking for status in you perfume bottles. It's possible (actually, it's probable) that UDV and some "big names" get their supply of aromachemicals from the same source. Who knows? I don't. But I wonder. Solid. 8.5/10

Retro yet Avant garde. Beastly longevity. Not shy, but not cocky. Manly, into face, independent, not flamboyant. It is very hard to describe based on ingredients. On cold air, when I first met it - it stopped me in my tracks and my brain rushed into it - I remember thinking of ink, wood polish, even some kinda image of burning space-ship, but paradoxically - really attractive. I've read about ingredients and still can't re-evaluate it as citruses and mosses. I bought it and very-very happy. I won't wear it to symphony concert, also not for business meeting in auditorium, or doctors visit. Everything else though - Rock, Jazz, hangout with buds-n-beer, walk on a pier, making out after-hours.. Thank you.

To my nose this is very close to A*Men, that was the first thing that came to mind when I first sprayed it on. I'm guessing it's the patchouli and musk, combined with the citrus topnotes? It is less in your face than A*Men, though. I love this stuff. Very unique and masculine, you don't smell anything like this on the street. A soapy, mossy patchouli fragrance with above average performance!

It costed me less than 9 Euros. Smells like an expensive designer frag. Does not smell sinthetic or cheap. I do get some vibes of Azzaro pour Homme and YSL Kouros. Strong Citrus opening followed by strong Vetiver and Oakmoss. Average longevity. Nice presentation, good sprayer. Overall rate of 8,00/10.00 Recomended. With this price just blind buy it,

Smelling this today and I do pick up a bit of the "burning tire" note someone mentioned below. That's NOT a bad thing to my nose, it actually calls to mind the legendary Salvador Dali PH. UdV is ultimately more Zino-like than Dali, but that green rubbery note is quite enjoyable. UdV is a fantastic and timeless fougere.

I have known this fragrance since the late 1990’s early 2000’s and all I can say is that you will not find a lot of similar profiles due to its uniqueness. Outstanding performance and versatility especially for the price this is a no brainer. If you are a frag collector you should add this to your collection asap.

I have a vintage bottle of this and this is in fact not cool water + eros (both suck). This is a dry citrusy-patchouli fragrance, a much fresher and wearable Davidoff Zino, also simmilar to Dali Pour Homme. This is a 10/10 gentlman masterpice. Drydown better then most fragrances worth 20 times more.

To me, this is nostalgia in a bottle! I grew up wearing this. It's a beautiful scent. Sure, it's a cheapie that performs moderately and doesn't project that much, but it surely brings back a lot of great memories. It's a unique fresh classic that'll always revisit.

This is now one of my favorites. It's a gorgeous patchouli gem. This has excellent longevity and projection too. In fact, I could detect this clearly after 12 hours! Very like the lovely Zino. If you love patchouli as I do, have a spritz of this.

Holy shit a smell, That I haven't smell since I was little kid. the late 2000s era this was smell I've smelt a lot in our house. What a beautiful ass smell, definitely will fish for smells like it.

I have the splash on cologne of this, and I can't get enough if it! Fresh, aromatic with a lovely musky patchouli dry down. Suites the colder months. For the price its a complete no-brainer, 9/10!

OK. let's see...How about a total paradox in modern perfumery's logic, living mostly in supermarkets and hiding (or is it lurking?) in their lower shelves. Although it came out in 1993, its one of the most '80s fragrances out there. Perhaps 1993 was too close to the '80s to leave their influence out of the picture. Compared with the watered-down versions of the '80s classics, it totally stands out, being in a league of its own. Nothing sweet or dainty about it, just acrid citruses, bitter woods and tangy herbs, all mixed up in bucket-loads of excavated soil. If you wanna smell like a landslip, or like a lumberjack roaming the log-made bars in his vicinity during his day off, look no further. Whether these bars are in Alaska or Siberia doesn't really matter. Since he stands amongst the ones who built them, he'll always be welcome to every single one of of them. Bought for pocket change, it coped extremely well with a little trick I played and managed to convince people that it's an outrageously priced and very hard to find niche creation. Yes, I know I should be ashamed about that, but I never let a chance to bash the occasionally arrogant niche foofaraw slip by unused. After all Ulric de Varens does sound like something that costs a gold sovereign per bottle, and the UDV acronym sounds hi-tech enough to support my scenario and worth my imaginary price. It also kinda proves my theory that since there must be some sort of rock bottom in how cheap their ingredients may come, cheap scents are less likely to be reformulated over the years. So in some cases, there's a good chance that cheap fragrances smell way better than the current versions of pricy designer fragrances which have become the ghosts of their former selves. It's strange, unexpected, behind the times and way more Azzaro pour Homme than Azzaro pour Homme. In other words, a true real deal. So yes a total paradox, but by no means a fallacy. Fallacies are the privilege of fragrances tenfold its price, when they try to convince us that their reformulations were inevitable, due to whatever lame arguments they may come up with. Ulric de Varens doesn't seem to believe them. And neither do I...

Hello. After reading some comments here I have decided to take a closer look at Ulric De Varens For Men Edt. Tried this in November 2019, Sparkjøp Norway. Price for 60ml approx 6-7 Eur. Fragrance: Quite green, not quite sweet or Fresh. After initial smells does not feel intoxicating however gives a first strong punch. Nowadays this should stand out from the crowd, due to being a bit "retro" or "old school". Very reminiscent of 90s and 80s Fragrances. I would say it is a bit bitter, and for me personally it smells of grapefruit, mint, citrus, musk. There is definitely a mint note here. If you ever visit a shop where they sell herb teas, you might understand what I am talking about. Smell: 8/10 (Very unusual buy Today's standards, not a crowd pleaser and feel somewhat mature) Potency: 7/10 (Stays on the skin as a herbal soapy mix). Silage: 7/10 (I think this should project for a couple or more hours well). As a summary, this punches well above it's category. Quite "Green" fragrance that is strong, musky and confident. This would look very weird on a teenager. This is not an attention seeker. I just find it hard to describe this fragrance. It is just so much different from anything else in the same category. It smells like a herbal soap bar, a herbal tea. Not too powerful, but confident enough. Rough, but not offensive. Drydown is similar to another 90s frag called Double Whisky by Evaflor. It would take some time to get used to this frag Nowadays. I am sure my dad had this or similar frag quite a few years ago. Do not blind buy.

A bright, clean, lemon-forward, citrusy, aromatic scent. Quite pleasant and easy to wear. Has a little bit of a barbershop feel to it, but that's not fully what this fragrance is. Some might compare this to an air freshener, a comparison I'd get, but would qualify by saying it would have to be a high-quality one at that. Has a 90s character, as it fits in neither with the older school fougeres, nor with the newer blue-style of clean fragrances. Office safe and inoffensive. Masculine and relatively versatile. Moderate performance. It's so cheap they're practically giving it away and it's that price bracket that makes it quite competitive. There are few good frags at this low of a budget, and this is one of them. Not in love with it, but a definite like. If you're strapped for cash, wanna smell nice and clean and like lemons, citruses and some moss + patchouli, this is a great option. Overall - pretty good, the generally inoffensive scent profile and extremely low price point make it blind-buy safe.

I was one of the first reviewers of this fragrance a couple of years back. It warms my heart to see many new reviews - all of them positive. I had the chance to smell this fragrance once again a while back. I do admit it is of good quality. Citrus is a bit harsh in the beginning, then it settles down and we are left with a pleasant, earthy, green, soapy yet woody dry down. Patchouli nowadays is mostly used in niche fragrances. This is a very 90s fragrance, which is a good thing. I can only imagine how well it could shine, given some of the components were a bit more "expensive". This fragrance is one of the best things you get for the money spent. There is not much you can buy in that price range, so 8/10 is an adequate rating. If this was released under a "big brand" name, it could be priced 2x-4x higher.

The first impression is citrus, filled with lemons and tangerines, shades of dried sage, tarragon, anise, soon becomes very evident, into transition in the top notes for the heart notes, giving the sequence also refreshing floral notes of fresh mimosa, orange blossom, geranium and transparent jasmine, on the base notes with the sovereignty presence of the oakmoss, the charm of tobacco, and majesty of noble woods such as vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood and cedar refreshed by the unmistakable musk. I'd say would be a version of Lapidus pour homme more refreshing, musky, smoking and dry. The Classic Ulric de Varens Udv pour homme is potentially balsamic, and its aroma is like the Chanel Allure pour homme, in his tobacco references. Legitimate woody balsamic.

UdV's jagged note facets resemble one of those roughly-textured split-faced C.M.U. or exposed aggregate concrete walls that were popular finish options used on some commercial & institutional building exteriors (and interiors) 20 to 50 years ago. The 40-grit finish abrades with crude, rustic olfactory sandpaper, but this quality also allows for detection of multiple distinct notes simultaneously-- an enjoyable perception that I do not often have with fragrances. Even the highly stylized rugged font used for the letters "UDV" on the bottle label suggests that the contents within are indeed brimming with sharp, jagged, and unrefined edges. Relish the roughness.

I'm really surprised by this one. A cheapie drugstore fragrance that i've been seeing in supermarkets for years and never cared. I thought it would be a cheap smelling but it smells pretty good, actually. An aromatic masculine with tons of herbs (mint, sage, galbanum) and a sweet patchouli-moss base. Quite alluring and reminiscent of the 90's macho fragrances but it kinda works. And the price is ridiculously cheap. If you like fresh aromatic old school scents, give this one a try. I like it and probably will get a bottle just for casual dumb reach scenarios..

Honestly good luck finding something as unique as this cologne, I believe my skin reacts best with aromatic type of cologne and spicy ones. So this lasts ages. Every girlfriend has loved it and would always tell me how my smell was on them after seeing each other and they didn’t want to wash their shirt ever. It’s probably one of THE BEST smelling colognes given it’s cheap price but in Australia it’s been discontinued so it’s nearly impossible to find anymore

Definitely a 90s fragrance. With a strong vetiver and herbal undertones. It’s a good office scent or perhaps to a nice dinner or family gathering. This is not a fun, hip or daring perfume. It’s a classic and elegant scent. I get glimpses of lemon and mint, which are a nice uplifting combination to a rather dry composition. If you are looking for a timeless masculine type of fragrance, then UdV may be a good choice to try.

UdV male is a really nice fragrance at the unbelievable price of £11 !! The smell is a combination of Zino Davidoff + Tristano Onofri (1989). This combination makes UdV classic of late 80's but something you can easy wear the 2020's. You can wear it any season and I prefer it for the evening. The bottle is also very nice! I think it is one of the best low price investments!

i had to buy this today. I have never smelled a better fragrance for 9 euros. Im not usually a fan of lemon, but for this price you can't go wrong. Give the synthetic lemon opening a good 10 minutes to calm down. Believe me this fragrance is a lot better after the initial half an hour.I recommend.

Classic original masculine from UDV. Citrusy, earthy and musky, eventually settles into soapy water type scents like Aramis, Aspen,Dreamer etc. Enjoyable upto 3 hrs. great for the price. Scent 7/10 Sillage 6/10 Longevity 6/10 Value 8/10

A masculine colder weather frag I would say. It's fresh but not your classic freshie kind of DNA. It's more aggressive and a bit interesting imo. Can't really see a teenage f*ckboy wear this. It's elegant and more manly made. Perfecto!

Bought this one when on holidays in France at a local Carrefour (Supermarket) ...Good everyday scent...semi-fresh citrusy...very cheap...but definitely lacks a bit of longevity, except when sprayed directly on your shirt... 7,5/10

This one got discontinued in Australia so my life went to shit. Not really. But this is my all time favourite cologne and I have ten different ones now and none of them can compare

This is my second review for this one. I last reviewed it over 2 years ago and it's sat in the back of my fragrance vault in the Monte Carlo residence ever since, so I figured, maybe give it another shot. I'm not planning on leaving the house today anyway. Maybe there's something to letting things sit. It goes on tolerably, without as much of the cotton candy miasma that nauseated me so much the first time. It's there, but it's tolerable, it sits better in the mix, as we musicians like to say. In fact, not having worn any scent at all lately, I sort of mildly liked the opening. In an odd way, it reminded me of the completely unassuming "just there"-ness of the misnamed Issey Miyake L'eau d'Issey Intense Pour Homme. It's still a little sweet for my tastes, I think I just don't like gourmands. But it's not bad, I wouldn't be afraid to go out wearing it, and I could see some of my foppier, more velvety brethren being happy with it (Some men are leathery, and some are velvety; I'm more terrycloth). That's about the most positive thing I can say about it. Other than the sweet thing, it's a fairly unremarkaable mix of patchoili, some florals, some citrus. I could probably talcum powder up, spray on some Paco Rabanne, suck on a hard candy to soften it up and then rub that on my neck and wrists, and get about the same effect. As I'm sitting here typing this I'm getting a slight headache, probably due not to the UDV but to the ongoing stress of long term-unemployment and financial worries, but the UDV isn't helping.

I just received a bottle of UDV, and color me mystified by what I see on this page. I get a slightly sickly cotton candy and an acrid note of burning rubber. And that's it. A few hours in, it's dried down to... still exactly the same. It reminds me very much of A*Men, which had a similar but even more pronounced tire-fire-near-the-midway attack and not much else, yet which other people seem to incomprehensibly adore. At least this is not as offensively sweet-yet-acrid as that, it's not awful so much as just not my style, which I guess is impressive for a bottle of juice that cost less than I paid for a sandwich for lunch today. But none of what I see in the note pyramid or in any of these reviews seems similar to what I'm smelling in any way. I just don't get it. Maybe it's my body chemistry or something. (Update... second wearing, three months later: Opening not as bad as I remembered. Medicinal, but not necessarily in a bad way. Candy, yes, but not cloying, more herbal, like an herbal lozenge. 20 minutes later: oh, yeah, there’s that burning rubber smell. Why do people make colognes that smell like this?)

This is a pretty inoffensive standard masculine chypre (citrus, labdanum, and oakmoss)--but it's also not very interesting. It's only so-so in terms of sillage, and it reminded me quite a bit of Montana pour Homme (even more of an underperformer). This is reasonably priced for what it is, but it smells pretty synthetic to me, particularly at its opening... although fortunately for me the drydown was better, probably because of the oakmoss. This isn't bad. But there are so many better masculine chypres that I'm not sure why you would want this particular one, even at its low price point.

A cheap fragrance but quite nice actually.

Based on reviews and the price (8€ for 60ml EDT bottle), I decided to buy in the supermarket and give it a try. I am a lover of fragances such as Kouros, Ted Lapudis homme, Boss number one, etc. So, I had some good expectations for this one. I sprayed twice in my wrist and for a moment I got good memories of Boss number one (which I personally adore). Just a bit after that and it gave me a bit of Paco Rabanne pour homme vibes perhaps due to 80s citric notes. And it remained like that for a while, a cross between these two. Can ́t explain better. However, as soon as it started to dry... after 30min or so the fragrance didn ́t seem to go in the direction it should go. The citric lemon note turns into acid/acrid and a certain burnt rubber note (in a bad way) comes into play. I washed my hand after 1 hour and the acid rubber note was all that was still left and was tottaly disgusting. It got even worse after trying to wash it out. I am very dissappointed with this one. I know it is a cheapie. I tottaly understand where it comes from and the concept behind the creation of the fragrance which is great and could be massively improved. The idea is right but either the ingredients are low quality or the mix is incorrect. Maybe both. I wasn ́t worried about longevity or sillage or expecting miracles. I could understand if those would be the fragrance weaknesses. The main disappointment is this fragrance itself doesn ́t do justice to the concept. The first spray tells me about what was great concept idea, that was poorly executed. Sadly, It ́s too harsh and cheap smelling for me.

It was given to me as a gift but i gotta say this smells very synthetic and soapy and cheap it is not pleasant at all, as much as i try to love it, it just isnt good at all but looking at the reviews for this makes me wonder if theres something wrong with either my nose or bottle. 3/10 fragrance smells like cheap handwash mixed with pure alcohol

When sprayed, it made me recoil. Not good at all. Dyring down, it became a nice patchouli. Nothing very special. It does not smell like A*Men. Patchouli is the only similarity, but this one is not gourmand and it's not sweet. In fact, the drydown reminds me more of Angel, but softer.

I genuinely can not detect the mint in this. It smells like genuine ball sweat and piss from a dehydrated grandpa on the drydown

Let’s go back to perfume basics and school desks This perfume was introduced in 1993 by an unknown perfumer. At least it is not mentioned here, but Ulric de Varens fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Maurice Roucel, Jean-Claude Ellena, Nathalie Zagigaeff, Henri Bergia and Pierre Bourdon. I would say that the perfumer in agreement with the brand remained a secret, but my personal opinion is that this was made by either Morilas in his golden days or Gerard Anthony, but maybe it was Jacques Huclier? The perfume is, I would say, an inspiration for many perfumes that were created later. Davidoff Zino is the oldest of all mentioned, but the comparison doesn’t sit well with me, but on Fragrantica it got the most thumbs up because of its similarity to UVD. I will definitely have to return to the Davidoff Zino model to check the beginning of this perfume genre. But shine and glamour, adult and mature, and an emphasized modern attitude were definitely taken by UVD in its commercial sense and presented in its own way. A fairly “cheap” and affordable perfume for some kind of drugstore or perfumery, but it carries a strong character and charisma. One is a really newly created direction and a direction that today has absolutely no hype. This perfume is so below all levels, and so underrated that it is a shame not to present it as one of the pioneers of modern perfumery. This fragrance was an easy lure for clubbing in the 90s, for a slightly more mature population it was the right choice. For me, this is a perfect choice and a perfect alternative solution for an evening perfume in some kind of elegant outfit. A very harmonious, beautifully executed fragrance with a very colorful composition. Patchouli in its modern rotation surrounded by freshness in the nostalgic early nineties. Perfect.
