Version Black

This is one of the best cheapies I've ever smelled. It's very soft and sits close to the skin, but the scent is so calming and uplifting that I just wanna bathe in it :) you can use it as layering, using your main perfume on top of it. Me, I spray a couple of this beauty on my wrists (by the pulse) and enjoy the smell throughout the day, using my other perfume on my chest and back of the neck. Definitely recommend that you try it if you find it somewhere!

Fragrance Reviews #3 I don't think that the name version black suits this fragrance. Black could lead someone to think of a bold, intoxicating, head-turnig fragrance. Well this is not at all the case here. I first got this fragrance a few months ago for 6€ (yes a full bottle!) because it was the last one on the shelf. But I didn't wear it until this summer. Now that my bottle has a noticeable dent, I believe I have enough experience to talk about this fragrance. When you first spray this on you get an initial burst of citrus which is soon followed by a soft and linear lavender note and some woodsy notes on the base. To me this fragrance feels like lying on freshly washed bedsheets in a sunny morning. The scent is so calming that I even spray some on my wrist before going to bed sometimes. Someone could easily wear this in the office or at the gym, and generally in any casual occasion during the spring/summer. The performance is what you would expect from a 6€ fragrance, I can't really say that I'm disappointed because I walked into this with no expectations. On my skin it lasts for about 3 hours, but it becomes a skin scent after the first one. The bottle looks pretty basic and minimal and the atomiser and cap feel pretty cheap. The atomiser (even though it's plastic) has decent distribution. Overall, I'll give this fragrance a 6/10. It smells really simple and it's good for casual occasions with the performance being the most important drawback.

Today, around 7 hours ago I tried this out at a supermarket here in France, sprayed on the back of my hairy wrist (don't worry they're both hairy), since then due to the ongoing virus paranoia I've washed my hands thoroughly at least three times (no doubt washing some of the scent away). Well I can still smell it (of course only if I put my nose to it). Does it smell like Azzaro Chrome? Yes indeed it does but not just Chrome, it's not exactly identical. Many years ago when I previously wore this I didn't even know Chrome, to me this smelled kind of similar to CK One (and CK Be). Now I do still get that, from the Azzaro too. On the dry down this one still reminds me of CK Be, like a less spicy version, must be a similar lavender accord. This isn't as bright as Azzaro perhaps but then on the flipside it's more discreet for those who find Chrome a little harsh. This is actually a really good fragrance, sure it doesn't perform as strongly as Chrome but for the price (under 6 euros for 100ml) what can you say? Great value and a nice scent, I'd recommend this to all the kids (and older dudes too!) forking out silly money for expensive designers and even niche. Get a bottle of this and spray away! Can't believe I typed so much about this but there you go, Chrome/CK One/CK Be-alike vibe for small change. Scent:7.5 Decent longevity and projection, even one compliment, OK it was from my mum! :D

This is actually rather nice! I remember buying it many years ago when on holiday in France, since living here I've never bought it, I may do again as it's surprisingly good for a low budget fragrance, it is very youthful and bright, fresh citrus, lavender and cardamom on a bed of cedar. It's fairly soft and performance isn't great for me but it's likeable as well as affordable. Someone thinks this smells similar to Azzaro Chrome and yes I can smell a similarity too.

Very very good fresh scent in the same line as Azzaro Chrome and some of the CK's. What confounds me is its price: 6 Euros for a 100ml bottle. I bought one for my son. I just could not resist!

Very much like CK One, sweet & unisex. Performance is not bad, lasts about 4-5 hours. Really likable fragrance.
