Silver Saffron

I tested it because of the sample extraits kit I bought. I loved Jardins de misfah and Estrella de la Manana, will buy full bottles, they lean a bit more feminine for me. This one is amazing, however leaning more masculine, the perfect present for a man, if I need to choose :) Jerome di Marino is becoming my favourite perfumer, indeed!

Ain't gonna lie the saffron at first is kind of basic..but that is until a few minutes pass.. when it gets to the dry down it becomes one of the most addicting frags I've ever come across.. the saffron and the raspberry makes it addicting without being offensive.. bought it at first try

I find this profile so intoxicating but so often duplicated. I have owned Byredo's Black Saffron which is supposed to smell incredibly similar to Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather. I find Black Saffron to mirror Saffron Superfluide by Les Eaux Primordiales which I also loved and feel the same way about this one. From sampling I can see that the longevity and sillage on Silver Saffron is really excellent. Smells delicious and sexy but unfortunately, zero points for originality!

Moderately metallic saffron & mildly sweet raspberry dominate this scent. Slight powder from iris, balsamic myrrh, woody base. I can see slight resemblance to ON or OM but those two are very heavy dark scents. This performs well and is smoother/lighter with fruit leading the way. Silver saffron is an appropriate name. This is quite nice.

Sprays on like a clean/fresh man's aftershave, which wasn't for me. I'm glad that I only bought a sample. However... After letting it set and washing my wrist, it lost the really sharp/metallic/masculine top notes, I freaking love the base. Warm, vanillic, fresh, hint of floral. Beautiful. I wish that they would make the washed off version in the form of a woman's perfume. Until then, I will rinse and repeat wearing this until my sample is gone.
