Crush On Me

I am writing my review today because I am stressing out that I don't have this already. I've been wearing and testing this scent from my sample this whole week and was compelled to write a review on this going into the weekend. This scent is just gorgeous... My first spray of Crush On Me was surreal. I've been testing many vintage fragrances, indie and niche musky fragrances, and indie and niche fougère fragrances recently and had conjured a feeling that these sweet gourmand-based new releases from Unique'e Luxury couldn't stand up to the "Wow Factor" I was getting as I tested and wore those. Listen, I would pay money just to relive my very first experience of this fragrance again. Let's just get this out of the way, no, Unique'e Luxury Crush On Me does not have anything to do with Instant Crush even though its notes might suggest otherwise. But narrowly, almost insignificantly so, has to do with Baccarat Rouge 540. But even if BR540 didn't exist I think this could still have been made since the likeness feels incidental and not a main focus. This smells more natural. However for reference the warm spun sugar sweetness in the background of this does hint at a skeleton that feels vaguely familiar. This opens smelling like a strong caramel macchiato. A hyperrealistic representation of a warm almost smoked caramel accord à la Kutay, natural ginger, and natural patchouli create this strong gourmand coffee accord, a bitter, soily and and spicy sensation in the opening of this fragrance that seats you in the middle of a cafe at lunchtime. The opening also rams your nose like a bulldozer but settles down within seconds. A pungent but sweet animal with a natural and wild soul. The mid after 15 minutes is were I believe this is truly a niche gem that might make this off-putting for some but makes Crush On Me completely original and so high-class and transportive. Whatever natural lime they're using in this lingers persistently within the DNA of the entire composition using the citric nuances of the magnolia and rose to stay present adding a faint lemon pie zingy-ness to the composition. The saffron and iris adds a beautiful earthy, buttery, slightly soily and animalic feel - a reserved but warm dark chocolate fudge cake. And together it is all happening underneath the soily patchouli and sweet caramel. I'm not going to lie, and be ready for this - Altogether this part smells like fresh Celery... Yep. It smells of chopped washed celery. A nice sweet and salty, aromatic, fizzy, green and earthy sensation almost reminiscent of sweet soil, petrichor and healthy plants after rainfall. This is why I am certain natural patchouli and ginger oils if anything exist within Crush On Me. But I would love to hear what others think! Somehow this scent has captured and populated my imagination. It is very original, natural smelling, high-class and feels somewhat daring as well. To be worn at celebratory or upper-class parties or gatherings. Red Carpet type functions. Or even a date at a dimly lit first-class restaurant. Unique'e Luxury seems to have pulled all the stops to make this highly complicated and potent formula. I wore this at lunchtime one day, I finished work to go to the gym late that night and even with the change of clothes this was still projecting as if I had just sprayed it. I came back home checked the spots I sprayed it on - even after sweating the oily spots were still glazed on my skin. I showered and the spots still smelled of Crush On Me... This perfume is a full day commitment guys Lmao!! But surprisingly it isn't even cloying. It smells sweet, fresh, brown and green at the same time but in no way dirty or stuffy. More masculine leaning gourmand I would say. I would suggest to spray it only once on the back of the neck and then let it do it's magic. For me fall and winter or colder days do something to make this scent irresistible. $340 hurts man I'm worried about the increasing prices. But heck, I do love this. The Unique'e Luxury perfumes are exquisite compositions that have even humbler price-tags for what they are and the amount of fragrance they give, I honestly always believed Roja, Nishane and Xerjoff prices in general were very foolish. But what do I know. For me ☕️🍯🌿 10/10

#29 of My Fragrance Journey: Unique’e Luxury – Crush On Me: The One That Nearly Lost Me, Then Completely Won Me Over So, Crush On Me and I... didn’t start smoothly. It’s one of those scents that takes you on a ride — up, down, twist, loop — and somewhere in the middle, you’re not sure if you want to get off or go again. But by the end? Yeah. I’m in love. Completely. The first spray hit me like a lime twist dropped into warm ginger tea — fizzy, juicy, alive. Not what I expected at all from a caramel-patchouli gourmand. It’s zesty and spicy, the kind of opening that makes you grin and think, oh, this is going to be good. Then... it dips. The florals came out — a bit synthetic, a little too much — and the patchouli started to rise. I remember thinking, “Uh oh, here comes the mud,” and for a minute, I almost gave up. It was that kind of patchouli moment that can scare you off before it shows its charm. But if you wait — if you just let it breathe — it transforms. Slowly, the sweetness unfurls. The caramel comes in, warm and golden, wrapping around that patchouli like melted sugar over dark chocolate. Suddenly, it’s rich and comforting and honestly addictive. You get this delicious, chocolatey warmth with that tiny ghost of lime and ginger still flickering through, keeping everything from turning syrupy. It’s genius, really — sweet, but never heavy. And it lasts. Like, ridiculously long. I woke up the next morning, and it was still clinging to my skin — that cosy caramel-patchouli hum, soft but still there. It’s the kind of scent that stays with you, literally and emotionally. Crush On Me is bold, confident, and a total cold-weather stunner. It’s not a safe blind buy, but once it clicks with your skin? It’s magic. Sweet, warm, spicy, a bit mysterious — and honestly, a compliment magnet. So yeah, it took me a while to “get” it. But once it settled, I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist. It’s one of those fragrances that makes you want to wrap yourself in a blanket and drink something hot, but still feels sexy enough to wear out at night. A rollercoaster, sure — but one I’d happily ride again and again.

Finally got myself this bottle...and right away opening the courier package..i could smell a strong sweet-ish and addictive and mesmerizing aroma ! Applied on my wrist....and wham !!!!! This is like finding Jesus after roaming the desert for 40 years !!! Its beautiful , warm, sweet, glowing, dazzling, resplendent, opulent , graceful, forceful , obnoxious , hypnotic, trance inducing...i can go on and on about its Yin & Yang duality ....this is truly one of the frags that needs the tag line of less is more !!! I came back after work shift of 10 hours...and had a shower and reached to open my cupboard and apply a night SOTN and amongst the 125 odd bottles ...this was the only smell wafting out from the entire cupboard !!!! and that's saying a lot...coz other heavy hitters were sitting in there too like the orto pairisi entire range..profumum roma...rogue perfumes...slumberhouse...Boadicea ..Wesker....u get the idea !! BUT this stood out like a damn Beacon drowning out all and sundry with its humongous wall of sheer smell ! Yes...i agree with few guys below me that this will remind you of Mugler A*Men in its vintage format but its not as sharp or tar like as A*men but the dry down def has that gourmand chocolate caramel gooey vibe going on ! Truly a delicious frag !!! Warning...can be too strong for lots of people...try before you buy !! I am happy I bought it ! Namaste ! 10/10 score !!!

Wow. Just wow. I wasn't very hyped by this one because I saw many people said it reminded them of Tero. And while I found it pleasant, I wasn't a massive fan. I'm super happy to say that to me it doesn't smell like Tero at all. This is so incredibly good. When I first sprayed it, I got a smile on my face and genuinely said "oh wow". This is a very linear sweet patchouli bomb. The blend is so masterfully made that it feels like only one note, like the fragrance itself is just one unique note of its own. Extremely unique, comforting, potent, daring. This one is a nuclear scent. It's very thick, dense, loud. This might be the "thickest" perfume I've ever tried. In the sense that hours after spraying it feels like it's still going in my mouth, it's on the verge of being obnoxiously loud to the point I could see it being just too much for some people. I have tried and I own some nuclear scents, but this really has almost a physical presence, you can feel how thick and dense it is. The other perfume that has this kind of effect that comes to mind is Oud Satin Mood Extrait. The smell is incredible and very comforting. This is the perfect fall fragrance. Unisex leaning masculine to me. It might be pricey, but it's worth every penny. I can't see many situations where you'd use more than one spray for this, maybe two for outside use. Longevity is eternal, sillage is massive.

"I would say it is a safe blind buy." My kids loved this, and somehow I got compliments from many people that it smells like ice cream. It is an amazing creation. Just imagine, if you are drinking herbal tea and your kid is eating vanilla ice cream, and you catch whiffs of caramel, sugar, vanilla, and the fresh smell from the tea. I sampled this from LuckyScent after a YouTuber reviewed it as a head-turner, and yes, it can be a head-turner in a good way. I did not find the performance to be exceptional, but that might be because I applied the 0.7 ml sample very sparingly since it is so beautiful. I think if you buy a bottle and apply two sprays, it will last for a day. Even applying two dabs on my neck and driving for 3-4 hours in 75°F weather, I was still getting whiffs of caramel in the evening. The patchouli comes through at the beginning, but the caramel overpowers it for the rest of the duration. This fragrance is suitable for both men and women and can be worn all year round. The only downside with caramel-based scents is a slight sticky feeling at the dry down.
