Mangonifiscent

My mom smelled this on me when I was testing it out, and she said I smelled like armpit BO. I had my bf smell it on me, and he said it smells good like a juicy mango. It's so funny to me that many people find this scent polarizing, but for me, I love this scent. It opens with ripe juicy mango. It's sweet but not overly cloying. The mid notes then settles in with a more toned-down fruity floral scent that is so warm, so full-bodied, grown up and seductive. I can discern the rose notes in the mid but not the jasmine which is something I'm ok with. I'm not the biggest fan of the jasmine notes. It can be overpowering sometimes. I do pick up a lot of honey, and I'm guessing that's what made it warm to me. This scent last and last and last on me. The longest lasting scent that I've tried. This is also very potent. I haven't dared to use more than 2-4 sprays. I went to a show while wearing this scent, and a lot of people were close to me. I was just afraid that they might be the people who don't find this scent appealing, and get tear gas by me. But I will freely wear this in a more open setting. This is quickly becoming my favorite.

I like this brand a lot. I have Kutay, Mushumaro, and Woud and Mood Absolute. After sampling Mangonificent, I thought this would be my 4th bottle. But after wearing it out, I was sitting in my car thinking I smelled Richwood. When I got home, I looked and they share 4 base notes. They start of different, but the end result for me is too similar. So, I sprayed Mangonificent on again, and immediately I smelled Richwood. Now that it's in my head, it's all I smell. I already have a bottle of Richwood, so I'll have to pass on this one. BUT, if I didn't have Richwood, this would be a must buy. The sweet opening with the mango is delicious. This one doesn't punch you in the face all day like Kutay and Mashumaro will. This house is a banger. Beverly Hills Exclusive 7, Chocolate Makes me happy 8, Crush on me 8.8, Istanbul 8, Kutay 9, Mangonifiscent 9.3, Mashumaro 9.4, Woud and Mood Absolute 9 are all winners.

One of the only mango scents I’ve ever tried that doesn’t come across juvenile or candy/shampoo esque. It’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s a thick, ripe pulpy mango that dries down with some thick resinous honey with a slight touch of deep green from the patchouli/moss and Oud. Absolutely amazing fragrance. Super beast mode and I only sprayed twice (I usually spray 6-8) and it was choking out my husband in an ice rink at my kid's hockey lesson (note he's very sensitive to smells). If you like beast mode, this is IT. would reco for night moreso than day just given the strength but the mango makes me want it for daytime. I’m so disappointed this doesn’t come in a smaller bottle as I will never, til the end of time get through 100ml but it really is a gorgeous scent, so much so I dished out for the 100ml bottle anyway. Mango and honey are tricky for me but unique’e does it justice. 10/10 recommend.
