Ghost

Echoing others, in that this scent is wintry and ethereal. It absolutely lives up to its story, its branding and its notes. The fresh mint of camphor draws to mind fresh snow and mountain air; the iris and orris are soft, and shouldn’t be a worry for those who typically shy from florals; and the vanilla is tempered by the “old books” note, making it sweet but not gourmand. This is a scent you wear for yourself. It sits very close to the skin, but I’m glad to have it for company on cold days outdoors or when settling in for a winter watch or read. I wouldn’t mind it being a touch stronger, but it’s pure love regardless.

This is an ethereal, iris fragrance. It opens with a fresh note of camphor that dissipates quickly to reveal an earthy and elegant iris/orris butter. Though it sits closer to the skin, it lasts for well over 8 hours. Drying down to a soft vanilla with a hint of old book, this is a classy and understated fragrance that would make a beautiful signature scent.

Not what you may think based on the notes. It is an ethereal and airy musky white floral grounded with a moderate vanillic base. Unique and interesting.

The coldness of Ghost is what really stands out to me. There's the paper and the floral notes to it, but it's cold above all else. I never smelled anything quite like it, and while pleasant on skin, that uniqueness makes me wonder when Ghost would be appropriate to wear. Night? Transitional seasons like spring or autumn? For day-to-day wear? Fancy occasions? I'm not entirely sure, but I'm sure of one thing: nobody will smell quite like you if you wear it and it's a perfume that puts one into deep thought. Try a sample and see for yourself! UPDATE 28/Dec/2025: Over time, the drydown of Ghost started reminding me of perfumes for formal or special ooccasions. Probably because of thr iris note.

i expect so much out of this scent based on the notes and comments here, but on my skin.. it smelled horrid! one of a few rare perfumes that made me gag. it opened with extreme sourness that lingered for hours in my skin.

An absolute must try for iris lovers. It is truly stunning. Such a beautiful transition from it's chilling opening to its warmer and calming mid and dry down. This is the fragrance that has turned iris from a like to a complete love for me. This perfumer really has a talent for conveying feeling through scent. The best perfumes and perfumers are ones that have this special talent and really take their time to make something that is art and not just another trending perfume. Just like the best songs are the ones that are sung by musicians who write their own music and have actually been through what they are singing about. As for strength, my first couple of tries led me to believe this was a skin scent, however; since then it has been getting much stronger for me. Perhaps a maceration thing. Very happy with the performance. It is just right, not too weak and not too strong.

This was my introduction to camphor, and unfortunately it seems I absolutely cannot stand camphor. If you know this about yourself already, my god avoid this scent.
