Running With The Wolves

Omg this is finally on Fragrantica. I love this. One of my biggest compliment getters. I had both Lost Cherry and Rouge Smoking as part of my collection - I sold them both when I got this one. This is by far the best cherry-dominant fragrance on the market IMO. I have such a strong association between anything cherry, and chapstick. (I always get cherry flavoured chapstick because it’s just the best). The soothing sensation of wearing cherry chapstick on a cool, crisp day is essentially what I want out of a cherry fragrance. This delivers. It’s playful, earthy, and has lots of depth. The Tuberose is a supporting character here; same for the oud and the almond. The cherry is really centre stage while the apple helps with a touch of fresh sweetness in the opening (although I wouldn’t classify this as a gourmand at all). If you’re looking for something that smells high quality and niche without being challenging, this is a good option. Leans feminine but could work as unisex.

That initial blast of cherry spooked me a bit, I get the cherry air freshener/cherry medicine thing other reviewers are mentioning. But if you give it a chance, after only a few short minutes it mellows out into something very pleasantly fruity with a soft animal fur behind it. Not dirty or funky at all, it's very subtle to my nose. This wouldn't normally be a scent profile I would go for, and reading the description and notes I wasn't sure if I would like it, but it works. I am trying this one right at the beginning of summer, so idk if it can be worn in the heat. ...Maybe? Its not too heavy and mostly fruity. I like it enough that it's worth a try at this time of year, but probably more fitting for cooler weather. I've just started trying Untamed's discovery set (I'm halfway through) but I'm really enjoying the few I've tried so far, particularly Chocolate Earth along with Running With the Wolves, and I have a feeling that the whole collection is going to be just lovely.

I was hunting for new cherry perfume to replace Ferragamo's Subtil and bought this as blind buy based on notes. This fragrance is so well done and fantastic! Opens with strong, ripped cherry and aromatic Sichuan pepper notes, then half an hour into wear leathery and fur accords start to peak through. Almond adds slight warmth to balance out cool cherry note. Sensual, a bit wild and totally intoxicating. Lasts for days on fabric. If I would have to pick the archetype for this perfume, it would be a biker girl with long hair, very confident and adventurous. To me, it fits the most cooler autumn days where woodsy and leather notes can shine through the most.

This is such a special fragrance! A complete blind buy, and something I don’t recommend doing, but it worked out very well for me - it’s right up my street. Unexpectedly, I find it to be the canid cousin to Francesca Bianchi’s Tyger Tyger (one of my favourites) with added dark juicy cherries - for me there’s a vintage, powdery element and definite animalic similarities. It has attitude - it’s wild, powerful, sometimes a little serious, sometimes a little playful. I am looking forward to exploring more of Sunyata’s creations, the quality is superb and her talent is undeniable.

One of my favorite and most unique fragrances in my collection! Delicious opening with red apple and cherry combo and just the right amount of sweetness. This is the first fragrance where I have grown to love an animilistic character, it is blended so well and is soft the way nature intended. Amazing website as well...Sunyata has really accomplished a mood with the beautiful photography which has also translated into her fragrances!
