Born in Roma Extradose Donna

This is a longer review comparing my impression of the OG, intense and extradose: I've tried this one several times since I love rum+vanilla. I've also tried the original and the intense, as a jasmin lover. Black current is no love of mine and more often than not turns nasty cat pee like on my skin. Jasmine usually doesn't, even though it can also turn cat-pee like on people. I've tried them on a not too hot summer day and again on a rainy cooler spring day, and not one of them wowed me, maybe because it was the wrong weather for them. The original was/is still boring too me and dries down to a weird woody note (probably guaiac, which i usually hate), the intense made me nauseous every time I tried it, probably because I can smell the unlisted black current, and mixed with amber and jasmine it made me ill. 🤢 But, I was in town yesterday for an errand and tried them all on a whim, because autumn has come to my town. Now, I got something completely completely different! The original is still forgettable , but the intense didn't make me nauseous this time. I could smell a beautiful Jasmine mixed with vanilla and fruit, and the black current hardly bothered me. It dried down to a soft amber vanilla/benzoin in 1 hour and was faint after that, but it could have been my impression because of olfactory fatigue after the perfume-store. Still, I'm not sure if the intense is bottle worthy even in 30 ml anyway, more tries are needed. There are probably more interesting Jasmine frags out there, like "Amalia gourmand", "fils de joie" which I own, the Aliens and so on. Now, the extradose! This one! This one definitely made me stop in my tracks. It smells like a fruity coconut rum vanilla tropical drink and I kept sniffing my arm like crazy the whole evening. I don't really love coconut as a note or in most scents but it works in this one. Powerful too, more than the intense. It doesn't seem to sit quite right in the summer on me even though everyone keeps saying it's a summer scent, probably because of the tropical feel. But it gets more beautiful and also seems to fit in the cooler weather more because of its sweetness. So If you, like me , don't like the Valentino donna scents, try them in cooler weather, at least this one and the intense. And don't give up, unless you want to. 😉 Sometimes it takes a few tries to get a scent and since ones sense of smell can develop, pick up new nuances with time, and one get used to scents one used to hate, it's always fun to try frags again and again with some time apart. Sometimes, you might be pleasantly surprised by what you smell now vs then. 🙌 I would not say I've turned into a Valentino lover just yet. I have never wanted to own or owned anything by this brand, even though I love other designer houses like YSL, JPG, Lancome's la nuit tresor line and Mugler. But, the extradose I can imagine buying, now that I seem to smell what everyone else is smelling and my skin doesn't hate it. 🙌😁 Edit: bought the 30 ml extradose and am looking forward to getting to know her more! 🥰

Sweet, vanilla, fruity, rum, boozy, warm, woody, soft spicy, powdery, rich, deep, feminine, sensual, seductive, sexy, chic, classy, elegant, sophisticated, mysterious, enchanting, alluring, tempting, intoxicating, addictive, inviting, cozy, comforting Oh wow I’m super impressed with this one! I’ve been wanting to try it for a while now because I’ve heard such good things, but I didn’t have super high expectations for it as I’m not a huge DBIR fan. I do own Pink PP, Ivory, and Gold which I enjoy. However, I’m not super into the OG, and was thinking this might be more closely along the lines of that one. The DBIR dna is definitely present, but this one really envelopes you in a warm, deep, and boozy vanilla. The opening has a fruity burst of black currant which stays softly intertwined throughout the wear. The base wraps you in an intoxicating blend of warm and boozy rum and rich and powdery vanilla that develops rich and sexy, but also very inviting and cozy. After finally trying a sample of this, it’s impressed me so much that I’m definitely adding a bottle to my collection! This is definitely an excellent date night fragrance, but it also works well for pretty much all occasions. It would make a good choice for a signature fragrance. It feels best suited for fall, winter, and spring, but can definitely be worn during the summer. It feels very feminine and sensual to me, and suitable for women of any age. This is vanilla turned up to maximum density, a syrupy, creamy, addictive cloud that wraps around you like warm velvet and refuses to let go. The opening is a quick flash of fruit - not juicy, not bright, just a soft little “hello” before the vanilla body‐slams it out of the way. Because make no mistake: this is a vanilla fragrance wearing a Valentino jacket, not the other way around. Thick, creamy, molten, almost custard‐like, but without ever becoming childish or gourmand‐sticky. It’s the kind of vanilla that feels expensive and warm. The jasmine is softened into a glow, more texture than floral, like a warm light behind frosted glass. Where Intense is glossy, loud, and nightlife‐coded, Extradose is the slow burn - the one that clings to your skin, your clothes, your hair, and your reputation. It’s sweeter, creamier, and more addictive, with a “come closer” energy that Intense doesn’t even try to have. Projection - A warm aura that follows you like a rumour. Longevity - It survives showers, regrets, and entire seasons. This is the Valentino you wear when you want to smell like molten vanilla with no thoughts, just vibes. It’s comforting, sexy, modern, and borderline edible - but in a grown‐woman way, not a cupcake way. If Intense is chaos, Extradose is the aftermath: warm, sweet, irresistible, and unforgettable. 9/10 — thick, creamy, addictive vanilla done right.

Valentino Born in Roma Intense is a fragrance I respect more than I love , and I want to explain why, because I think this distinction matters when you’re deciding where to spend your money. Let’s start with what works: the opening is genuinely gorgeous. It’s powerful, elegant, and announces itself the moment you spray. There’s a richness and confidence to those first 30 minutes that feels luxurious and grown-up. You can tell this is a quality composition. Where it loses me is the dry-down. Once it settles, Born in Roma Intense becomes... predictable. It falls into that very recognizable “designer perfume” lane — clean, refined, easy to wear, but lacking the surprise that makes me fall in love with a scent. It’s the perfume equivalent of a perfectly tailored black blazer: undeniably beautiful, but you’ve seen it before. This isn’t a knock on the perfume itself. if you’re someone who loves polished, crowd-pleasing designer fragrances and wants something elegant for work or formal occasions, this absolutely delivers. But personally, I’m drawn to scents that are disruptive, unexpected, a little weird. Born in Roma Intense plays it safe, and “safe” isn’t what I’m looking for in my collection.

SO sexy! This is the kind of bold, sweet and sexy fragrance I always look for. I’m very picky when it comes to vanilla. I need my vanilla to smell EXPENSIVE!! This one does. Also the wear is exactly what I’m looking for. It’s perfectly strong for me and I’m lucky it compliments my skin so well. I would hate to miss out on this one. Gets me compliments all the time. Since the ingredient list is so simple, I’m not sure what it is but I get a mystical tropical note somehow. Anyway, I’m adding another Valentino to my collection. Got Coral Fantasy, which is juicy, fresh and fruity; got the limited edition Gold which is one of my all time favorite fragrances ever made, definitely my favorite tropical fragrance ever. After smelling this one I instantly knew I needed it and purchased it almost right away. I always do a wear test to see how it performs first. Obviously it performed really well. It really seems too good to be true but it checks all of my boxes! Thank you Valentino for making perfume for divas 😽 Update: definitely my most complimented fragrance of 2025 AND so far 2026 !!! A winner 🏆

THE HEADS WERE TURNIN’!! I kid you not. I doused myself in this at Ulta and went to Sprout Market afterwards, feeling like a confident goddess. The amount of heads that turned or people who stopped in their tracks and smiled at me was beyond coincidence. Some dudes were even speechless. Like women were nicer to me and dudes were losing their voice. Anyway this perfume is everything I want in a fragrance. I’ve already asked my husband for it like 7 times as of trying it today. He’s going to lose his shit when he smells it. It’s sweet, sultry, giving a little siren energy but with a secret. It’s not in-your-face sex. It’s markedly a vanilla fragrance, but with depth and soul. Just a lil blackcurrant (is that a berry?) and jasmine floral to keep it from being cloying. It’s perfection. I honestly didn’t think I could find a fragrance that would dethrone Burberry Goddess/Intense for me, but here she is...Extradose.

So I went to Ulta and sprayed this on my hand. I was very underwhelmed at first because I thought it smelled the exact same as the OG, and I ended up buying Miss Dior EDP instead. Girl...TELL ME WHY FOR THE REST OF THE DAY AND FELL IN LOVE LOL!! The dry down is where the true beauty of the fragrance is! This scent has an aura that keeps on bringing you back to it. I went to church right after I went to Ulta and I got so many compliments from that one spray I put on my hand. Needless to say, I went back and exchanged my Miss Dior with this fragrance. This fragrance has a rich, elegant, hotel lobby vanilla essence to it. My friend told me the type of person embodying this fragrance is a beautiful woman who just got married, prancing around their mansion with her satin robe and kitten heels on. This layers really well with a lot of other fragrances as well! For longevity, smell, and projection...10/10!💕💄

This is an amazing blend! Very dynamic, changing all the time, a lot going on here. The blackcurrant is present through all the stages. A fruity opening, then it blends nicely with the rum, there is also some jasmine (Fragrantica- please get the notes right), no sweetness here, after 30min when I sniff really closely there is a plasticky smell in the background which I don't really like, but only for a short while, then it disappears. The vanilla takes over after approx. 3 hours, but then it becomes the most beautiful scent ever! A fruity vanilla, slightly sweet, boozy, amazing, keeps on going for hours. This is for nights out when I want to look/feel/smell cool, a bit sexy, a bit dark, not too sweet. Wonderful for autumn. Projection is really great. Addictive, fantastic fragrance. I very much like the Intense as well, but it is slightly smokey on me, and extradose is not. I love it!!

The original Born in Roma never really impressed me. It was pleasant, but I couldn't understand the hype. To me, it was simply a nice fragrance. Born in Roma Extradose, however, completely changed my mind. The first spray made me think, "This is probably a 7/10." But then the magic happened. As the fragrance settled, a rich, creamy, sweet vanilla slowly emerged and transformed the entire experience. The dry-down is absolutely addictive and far more beautiful than the opening. For me, this is an easy 9/10. I also think this fragrance has incredible layering potential. Pairing it with another vanilla-based scent could make it even more irresistible—as long as it's something with its own personality. I recently tried Good Girl Blush, and I can't stop imagining how stunning these two would smell together. I have a feeling they would complement each other beautifully.

Valentino Donna Born in Roma Extradose This fragrance has currently become my absolute favorite. I love the way the rum emerges — not as an alcoholic sharpness, but as a smooth, almost essence-like warmth. In the opening, I detect cassia with a subtle touch of blackcurrant. In the heart, the rum becomes more prominent, and I sense the slightly animalic quality of jasmine. But the true magic happens in the drydown. It transforms into a creamy yet dark vanilla. It is not primarily a sweet fragrance — the vanilla isn’t sugary. I also perceive amber, which gives it depth and warmth. The overall effect is sexy, magnetic, and deeply seductive. On my skin, it feels almost hypnotic. This won’t be for everyone. Although only three notes are officially listed, the composition feels far more complex and layered than it suggests.

Love it. My first Valentino after being a frag head for the better part of 25 years. Best desinger release of 2025 IMO. Followed secondly by Flowerbomb Extreme 2025. It's gourmand, without being too gourmand. The fruit aspect isn't too fruity, but rather a little juicy. Only slightly though. The rum is boozy as expected, but not blow your head off boozy. The vanilla is not light or fluffy, rather deep and intoxicating. Its an incredibly easy to wear fragrance. On paper, I'd think Extradose is strictly a cool and cold weather scent... Nope. I'm Australian, and that means its summer now. The heat works wonders for Extradose, because the sweetness isn't cloying. The compliments haven't stopped.. Extradose offers a lovely scent trail. If you love rich vanilla and boozy scents I don't think you'd go wrong.

Extradose keeps the familiar Donna BIR DNA and does sit close to both the Intense and the OG, but that syrupy berry, boozy warmth and buttery, creamy vanilla elevate it into something utterly scrumptious without tipping fully into gourmand territory. The dry down leaves a little fruit behind, while a rich vanilla cream becomes the main player of which I have no complaints - it is genuinely goooooood vanilla! The booziness retreats into the background after the first half hour, still playing around but much calmer. It’s soft, sweet, comforting and has just enough pizzazz to stop it feeling flat. Sillage is moderate, projection is moderate, and staying power sits somewhere between moderate and strong. If you already love the Donna BIR DNA, this will almost certainly be right up your street.

Shampoo & Conditioner,BUT in the best way possible. It starts off with a juicy,sweet & tart blackcurrant but the rum starts taking over rather fast making it smell like berry liquor in a very sexy way, the Vanilla is prominent in the concoction early on but its mostly smellable as its heading for the dry down. I grew out of my fruity phase and left fruity perfumes in the „young past“ as something thats just rather fun,youthfull & naeive but this babe right here is grown & confident and I WANT IT! (I kinda regret buying intense over this) Longevity is a beast (on dry skin as well! Because a expensive perfume should last without having to use 15 products before that) and sillage is just as great. Will definetly buy it,duh.

I am so glad I got to try this one out - Í have Coral Fantasy and Green Stravaganza and although they’re really nice , I felt they were more for my daughters and and and therefore a younger audience. I was not out to try or buy any more of the BIR line but by coincidence came across Donna Extradose -and this one is IT for me! Simple but oh so good with the Black Currant, Vanilla and Rum . Sweet and boozy , I’m sure it’ll be great for layering. I make Duplicate Perfumes for myself and family and am surprised at how close mine is to the OG , so I’m using mine for experimenting and comparison to the original bottle I also have. Donna Extradose is very feminine and sexy, the drydown is stunning! You don’t need much!

this is warm, dark and spicy, def better for colder seasons in my opinion. although it has only 3 notes, it smells more complex like it could have a floral note, even an amber or musk note. it's powdery but juicy at once and the vanilla is deep and rich like vanilla bean, not a cheap smelling vanilla. it's a great day-to-night fragrance too. i recently added this to my collection and i reach for it almost every day throughout this winter. it is sexy and youthful but not immature, and leans more edgy than light and soft. it smells addicting and the first time i sprayed this on my skin at ulta it smelt good enough to eat and i got a compliment from a stranger at trader joe's right after.

I will never stop raving about this fragrance. Dbir extradose is THE BEST designer fragrance I've ever smelled and nothing else comes remotely close. From the bottle to the scent, everything about this is (in my eyes) perfect. This smells niche level. It has the perfect amount of sweetness, woodiness and just a touch of spiciness to balance it out. Extremely well blended with good longevity and projection. It's also the most unisex smelling flanker in the Donna line. Both genders can rock this. I don't have a signature scent but if I did, it would be this. Anyways, as to what this smells like: This sort of reminds me of a raspberry rum punch with creamy coconut and vanilla.

This is my favorite from the Donna Born in Roma Line!! While the original Donna Born in Roma stands alone as a girly cult classic, I find “extra dose” to be fantastic. Great for layering or alone. The vanilla, rum, black currant combo is sooooo easy to love. The black currant sweetens the vanilla, and the rum adding a faint booziness. The sweetness of the black currant doesn’t allow the rum note to present as incredibly dark or syrupy as I’ve seen in other reviews, to my nose it balances well. A great addition to the Donna Born in Roma line. I never thought I’d like it better than the original, but I do! It’s too good. I went though my bottle so quickly.

I’ve had the Intense version and it very much reminds me of that, but sweeter and with the volume turned up. Coconut is not listed but it’s there overall impression I get when the notes mix. I’ve been looking for a sweet and soft coconut, but so far all of the coconut perfumes I’ve tried have smelled like cardboard on me...so how wonderful to find that this is the coconut of my dreams, without it even listed as a note. It’s bold, it’s sweet, it’s a crowd-pleaser. I want a full bottle but I don’t have the space because I am addicted to spending money on perfumes I don’t need. Please don’t discontinue this any time soon, Valentino, I beg you.

Edit: I can't believe, but somehow it's a constant compliment getter from men. Wearing it more makes me like it better day by day. I only smelled the OG BIR in drugstore, and it's a light sweet fruity gourmand, very easily wearable. In case of Extradose they were too careful with the rum, instead placing blackcurrant in the foreground, which makes me saying it's an OK scent, but it doesn't have a strong personality. The vanillic base is strong and stable, in the middle part I get mostly vanilla with berries. It's not gonna be my everyday scent, but I'm curious what feedbacks will I get from my environment.

My no.1 perfume as of right now, very vibrant and confident! I was lucky enough to find a great deal for the 100ml bottle, so I’ve practically got a life time supply of this, as you don’t need to spray too much of this as longevity & projection on this is beast mode (1 or 2 drops will last you the whole day I promise!) It’s pretty basic for a designer perfume, I reckon the rum note is what makes it smell expensive & strong though. Definitely a night out or special occasion fragrance, not something for everyday wear. Pairs well with SDJ 40 - the perfume leans a little on the tropical side surprisingly!

I have lovingly nicknamed this “Valentino Overdose”, because my gosh is it concentrated. Truthfully it gave me a headache about twenty minutes after applying it to my arms, but I love the scent progression (and especially the heart, which was rummy to me but nutty to my partner) so I apply behind the knees instead of the upper body. I wouldn’t recommend this one to someone who is new to fragrances unless they’re willing to learn by a lot of trial and big errors. Left to its own devices it lasts on the skin at least six hours, but it washes off easily (under 4 minutes) with properly lathered body wash.

This perfume is so good! At first when I smelled it in the store I was a little skeptical, but I went back a few weeks later and loved the smell even more. I asked my mum (who rarely likes my suggestions) and she loved it! This isn't your basic vanilla. This is dark, mysterious vanilla with rum and some fruitiness from the blackcurrant. This fragrance is unik and I can't find another this one smells like. This smells expensive as well. I kinda get some dark chocolate in it. The longevity is good, but not fantastic. The silage although is good, and people will smell you when you walk into the room.

Is there anything wrong with smelling nice? And sexy? Obviously this isn't for everyone. I think for someone in their early twenties, leaning into their adult confidence, it's great. It's not chic or sophisticated, but it's still definitely for a leading lady, not a supporting actress. I first smelt it on someone at the airport, and asked her what she was wearing (I never do that.) It's fun and yes, it's nice. REALLY nice. Mass appeal doesn't mean it's trash! Being a designer scent doesn't mean it's shit! I think if you have 30mls in your collection, you'll find yourself reaching for it!

I immediately fell in love smelling this in store. It's so warm, fruity and boozy. Was looking for a nice vanilla scent for winter and I have found it in extradose. I actually wear most of my perfumes to work (high school teacher) and with this one I just am careful not to spray too generously because it's quite strong and I don't want students or co-workers to choke when we're in small enclosed spaces lmao.. If super sweet scents aren't for you I don't think you'll enjoy this, other favorites of mine are V&R's Bonbon and Gucci's Flora Gorgeous Orchid, so Extradose is right up my alley.

In my skin this perfume was superb. Intoxicating, attractive, sensual, absolute temptation. The blackcurrant and rum notes mixed to perfection with my Ph creating a harmonious scent that only could be described with one word: Incredible. After 1-2h all the notes mix together creating a beautiful scent that I really appreciate and adore. Rum really gives a twist to fragrances when is well combined. Great longevity. Great sillage. It is a sweet fragance, feminine, not gourmand. Fall/Winter, for night time and to let the damsel veil fall and reveal the sensual diva inside.

I have never worn this without getting a compliment! It lasts all day, especially if it is on my clothes. I definitely feel like it changes as it wears. I don’t love the first 5 minutes (it smells like department store perfume counter), but the next 3 hours smells like strong and sweet spicy vanilla rum. Don’t spray too much because I definitely projects. After 3 hours, the smell mellows a lot. Still spicy vanilla rum, but much smoother. About 6 hours later, I start to smell a delicious creamy, milky, buttery (I know that sounds weird, but it’s such a nice smell!)!

i'm late to the party i guess. gotDAMN. i've always passed it in sephora and macy's and thought "wow yet another dbir flanker". yeah yeah the intense is okay and the coral fantasy is also pretty good but the EXTRADOSE? i sprayed this in macy's after my curiosity got the best of me and my jaw dropped. jammy black currant and a mouthwatering rum and vanilla base. it gets even better as it dries down and the vanilla really comes through and creates a nice big scent bubble. i can't even describe to you how good this is. please just go test it.

This has been my signature for a few weeks now, and it’s very hard for me to stay consistent to one fragrance, but this is TOO GOOD. It’s a really good balance of everything you can think of. It’s not too fruity, not too much vanilla and sweet, not to alcoholic (rum), not too woody, and not too floral. It’s a very well blend of everything I just mentioned, without any notes overpowering each other. Then the drydown is this clean sweet musk, that leaves an alluring and attractive sillage!

This one has grown on me a lot since I originally first tried and reviewed. I still stand by it being a mix of DBIR Intense & OG, but there’s an extra hint of something in Extradose that those two together lack. It has become one of my top 5 fragrances altogether. She lasts so long, too - which is a top criteria for me in liking perfumes! I’ve gotten several compliments on her over the months of wearing her. Overall I’m finally appreciating this one as much as it originally deserved

I've had this one for a while ago. Paid full price at Macy's ($210) and I have 0 regrets. GOD this stuff smells SO GOOD! This is my perfume I wear when I want to feel sexy. I pretty much always put this on before sexy time with my man! He doesn't GAF but it always makes me feel incredibly feminine, pretty, and sexy. It's not complicated, it's straightforward. Yes, it's super designer, but it's also super good. So if that's what you are in the market for, look no further.

The devil is in the details with Extradose. DBIR Intense is all about the Jasmine, whereas Extradose is all about the vanilla. They both share that beautiful DBIR DNA in the opening sprays, but once they begin to dry down, they go in completely different directions. This is a love for me- possibly even the best flanker, and that is saying a lot (for me) because I adore this entire line. My DBIRs get more compliments over perfumes in my collection that cost 5x as much.

Super sexy. This is only one of two scents that evoke ‘sexy’ to me as many don’t. The first 20-30min has a fume, petrol opening. If you can get past that, I did, there is a fruitiness then the warm, plush, sexy drydown. A fairly straightforward scent, doesn’t read complex. This one is all about the drydown which thankfully is the main part in this and lasts for hours, I’m at 10 hours with two sprays on the wrist. Still on my want list for Summer nights. Plush.💗🖤🔥💅🏼🐈🫦

First ever fragrance where I was immediately drawn in and mesmerized by the scent, and first ever designer fragrance I've bought because I simply could not get enough of it. Lasts pretty long on my skin but is practically immortal on my clothing, and I get nothing but compliments from wearing this. The blackcurrant and rum in this definitely shine but the vanilla is still very noticeable through it, and comes more through the longer you wear it without reapplying.

A rum-soaked berry cake. <3 Absolutely DECADENT! This is like if the original and intense had a baby. Sensual, sweet, delicious. I don't normally like boozy notes but something about this blends together so perfectly. A fruity gourmand. I'm so happy to have finally found a favorite from the DBIR line. Edit: It's been a week and I can STILL smell it on my sweater. My closet now smells amazing. They're not kidding when they call this Extradose.

I got this fragrance as a tester first and was impressed by the longevity of it and then went for a 100ml bottle. I wear it in a daily basis. I’m not a big fan of the opening and the first hour after I spray because I find it too overwhelming to my nose and too strong but after the first hour the dry down it’s insane it’s possibly the best smell. It’s definitely a frangrance that won’t go unnoticed and will get compliments

This is my second favorite in the line, only behind the Green Stravaganza. To me, this is the sweetest of the Donna Born in Roma line. This is a strong vanilla focused fragrance with a fruity blackcurrant note. I don't get much of the rum in this. This has strong sillage and great longevity. I sprayed this on when leaving the house and could still smell it on my scarf at the end of the day, 14 hours later.

I have a sample of this, and I just can’t get enough. She smells so fun and playful. I’m wearing her in the heat, and every time I catch a whiff, I can’t help but think of an absolute babe standing outside an ice cream shop, eating a waffle cone filled to the brim with vanilla rum raisin. It’s trailing down her hand and bosom. She looks me in the eye and says, “Want some?” And I do! I do want some!

Highly dependent on your skin pH!!! Must try on skin girls! Vanilla yes, something sexy underlying, yes, but it smells like PLASTIC and too perfumey (it must be the rum note) at some point and for many hours! Smells amazing, but for some reason I got told by my friends that I smelled manly while wearing this. One of my friends told me they’d prefer this fragrance on a man and when I told her it was DBIR Extradose, she couldn’t believe me. I love the smell but I guess with my skin chemistry it leans masculine which upsets me a bit since I was looking for a super feminine winter fragrance :(

This is a sweet and kind of boozy vanilla bomb in a bottle. Sweet, beautiful and so comforting. Be mindful about overspraying though, it's really strong. I also think it would be cloying in the summer heat. But for the winter and fall? It's the coziest scent I can imagine. I only have a sample of the Extradose but I will definitely be adding a full bottle to my collection this fall.

It has a strong scent so I apply in moderate quantities, yet I still smell this on me even if I change clothes, it’s absurd. I completely forgot about a sequin dress I wore two months ago and forgot to bring to the laundromat, you bet I still smelled it like I applied it yesterday. I don’t know what hex is infused within it but unless you shower, you’ll never get rid of the scent.

I love it. It’s like a bit more sophisticated cousin of the original Born in Roma. Still fun but with a little bit more body and character. Definitely sweet with strong vanilla accords but every note is balanced pretty well here. Fantastic longevity on me. It develops beautifully too, initial spray is bit underwhelming but the longer it wears the better it gets.

I've already given a review, but I've recently been layering it over JHAG Not a Perfume and it does something to this that I can't explain.. it's like it makes it "melt" into my skin and makes it last a bit longer. It gives it a little extra warmth, or "something"... Makes me feel extra cozy. If you have any of those molecule perfumes, I suggest giving it a try!

I got this baby today! Valentino BIR Extradose only has 3notes listed but when you smell it, it smells like there’s more.. The opening is fruity and I also get a sniff of Burberry Goddess/Angham which i love- it might be the Vanilla note. I own the OG BIR and the extradose seems like its big,mature sister,, elegant and she knows what she wants..

Best flanker... This is what I thought we were getting with DBIR intense, which turned out to be a jasmine bomb (not saying the intense is bad). Way creamier, sweeter and more vanilla focused compared to the other flankers. The white florals are also turned down in this. +Bonus points for longevity and projection, extradose is a beast.

Easily my favorite from the DBIR line, and I regret not trying it sooner. The rum gives it a decadent, slightly tropical vibe, but not too much so. I would have worn Extradose religiously in my teens/early 20s had it existed then, yet it's suitable for anyone who enjoys sweet fragrances. Very feminine and alluring! ;)

I like this perfume more than the original. I smell all of the notes. It smells very sweet and sexy, great for winter. It almost has a sugar smell to it, almost like the Michel Germain sugarful line. I like it a lot and will wear often in winter. The original DBIR smelled like a masculine cologne on me. Much better!

Love from the first sniff. And it was just boring walking around the airport. I only grabbed the bottle as it was the closes one. It is exactly how it should be - blackcurrant and rum, but with brown sugar and some powder. I am so in love with this ❤ 2 sprays is enough for all day. Strong but delicate and beautiful.

Extradose, you absolute beauty. Whilst the Intense version is the sophisticated, classy, oldest sister, and the OG is the fun and bubbly younger sister, Extradose is the sexy and smart middle child. Sweet in a grown up way without being too mature, and oh so intoxicating. One day, you shall be mine.
