Born In Roma Vanilla Bliss Mist

Okay what the heck Valentino... On one hand this smells great (would love this in an edp), but on the other hand it does not last and requires multiple sprays... which should be expected for a body spray BUT THIS THING IS $49 AND TINY!!! Like actually half the size of regular body sprays and double the price. I am literally going to go through this in like 8-10 uses...I wish I was exaggerating. For these reasons, I honestly can not in good faith recommend this to anyone.

I love this, it smells like a French vanilla milkshake with a touch of rose water. I bought it on sale at Sephora as they obviously are not selling, being overpriced. However this is an boujee body mist that will always be at reach in my purse.

It’s a floral, gourmand, feminine scent ! From what I smelled and noticed, it seems that Valentino clearly took inspiration for their collection from the Cheirosa Sol de Janeiro’s body mists collection (but with the difference of being slightly less childish, while clearly targeting a demographic that doesn’t have the usual funds to buy their more expensive perfume) : • Vanilla Bliss smells similar to Cheirosa ‘71 but more floral, while keeping that gourmand primary identity, • Salt Pistachio smells similar to Cheirosa ‘62 (not really surprising considering that there is pistachio in its name) but maybe a little more woody, less sweet and wearable for both gender (unisex). I didn’t have the chance (nor currently the financial funds) to smell the other body mists of this new collection, but I hope I do soon. (Btw for its small size (100ml), pricing this thing at ~50€ is way to much. For its longevity and for the fact the perfume is literally contained in a plastic bottle, it shouldn’t be near 30€). Seems like every perfume brand wants to hop on the body mists production to make more profit by making 0% effort whatsoever. This collection is the reflection of their pure greed.

THIS SMELLS/LOOKS LIKE A CHEAP DUPE YOU GET ON TEMU!!! Such a miss, and for such a high price point? Insane. Smells like someone put a drop of a better vanilla body mist into pink water and upsold it. Don’t waste your money

CANT EVEN FUCKING SMELL IT! I sprayed 5 sprays on a testing strip and had to inhale with all my might right onto the strip and barely smelled it. What I can smell is a nice fluffy vanilla. Honestly the caramel one has even weaker projection surprisingly. I would actually love this vanilla in an actual perfume that you can smell and I’d get it. However I’m not even considering getting this shit projection and lasting time than you genuinely can’t smell.

I liked it a lot at first. It was fruity and warm and sweet. Very sultry and sexy. But as it dies down that powdery musk comes through and it really reminds me of my grandparents. Extremely powdery. But I do think it's pretty.
