Voce Viva Intensa

Orange BLOSSOM & BOURBON Vanilla. Opens with a clean citrus burst of multi-faceted bergamot, that deepens into an orange-blossom & jasmine sambac heart that's powdery, super-sweet & creamy, all resting on a bourbon vanilla base with oakmoss touches. Overall, this reads as a fluffy sweet orange blossom scent, with a super-sweet drydown. Well above average performance. Fans of super-sweet scents will not be disappointed. Contrast to Voce Viva Valentino: I'm comparing samples of these 2 side by side and these are different, but there are similarities and they have the same DNA. VVI has a slightly fruitier opening, and goes sweeter in the drydown similar to scents like I Want Choo Jimmy Choo, while VV (OG) has a prominent tonka in the base leaning to scents like Good Girl Carolina Herrera. Both have excellent performance. Contrast to Prada Paradoxe Prada: These are different, but the openings are similar. PP leans more clean and isn't as sweet as VVI and has a forward forward neroli. Both have excellent performance. Contrast to Libre Yves Saint Laurent: These are different, but the openings are similar, although Libre is more lemon-citrus and has a forward lavender note, and the drydowns are different, with VVI drying down a lot sweeter. Both have excellent performance. Contrast to Love by Kilian by Kilian: These are different, but there are some similarities both being orange-blossom forward scent. LbK has a more marshmallow-y vibe and an airy, light presentation, while VVI has powerhouse performance. Contrast to I Want Choo Jimmy Choo: These are different, but this is the most similar scent to VVI that I've smelt. The openings are a little different, with IWC being more fruity-creamy, and VVI being more powdery, clean & fruity, but the super-sweet drydowns are very similar. Both have excellent performance. Overall: Well above average performance and a beautiful, crowd-pleasing scent profile. This is the perfect scent to wear to smell like a sweet treat. For what it is, it's a love for me. Enjoy!

i really liked the og. this came out shortly after i got that one, and i always wanted to smell it but never got a chance. went to sephora today because i'm really in the mood for a nice vanilla scent i can cuddle with. sprayed this and vanilla sky by skylar and this smelled sweeter to me. i was in shock and took it home. on my skin unfortunately i get very little of that sweetness, it's a mossy floral which i do not enjoy. on clothes tho it's beautiful. lightly sweet from the vanilla and fresh. definitely will still be getting vanilla sky in the future but i'm also glad to have this in my collection. this is a very easy grab, and will also be perfect for date night. i understand why people want more complex perfumes, but the more basic ones deserve just as much love to. at least they do for me!

This is a delicious fragrance that melts down from its initial citrus burst into a warm, sweet jasmine-vanilla. Super pleasant to the nose and clearly very well-made. Not as mature or rich as YSL's Libre - a slightly lighter, more powdery, bouncier vanilla. Think if Libre was pink. If they were sisters I'd peg VVI as the younger by up to five years. In accordance with other reviews here, I have to admit it is a little same-y. I feel like I could go to the beauty department and smell 20 other fairly similar concoctions at varying price points. That doesn't take away from VVI's quality or attractiveness, but if your aim is to smell unique and leave a memorable olfactory mark on your surroundings, then you're not going to reach for this.

this is such a beautiful perfume! very feminine and sweet without being cloying, it has a syrupy quality to it. a big compliment getter from women and men as well! it reminds me of "god is a woman" by ariana grande because of the bergamot and jasmine. it's a little generic in it's sweetness but that doesn't make it less enjoyable/beautiful. definitely one of my favourite summer fragrances! edit: i felt it was worth it to leave the original review here, but my feelings on this perfume have changed a bit. this is definitely a bit too sweet for me, opening as a literal mouth-watering caramel scent. it's really interesting to see how my opinion changes on perfumes as i experiment with more!

Got the purse spray of this today. I like it! It’s nice and pleasant. However, I definitely prefer the original Voce viva over this... that one had a little more “something” to it. This is, again, nice... but nothing really all that special. A more powdery, less citrus-y version of the original. Edit: nevermind, it hit the dry down and I am in LOVE. So the originals opening is better, but this fragrance is so much sweeter, deeper, and richer. I love it. Maybe FBW?? I don’t know, we’ll see how fast I go through this purse spray. Edit 2: It’s on sale at Sephora for Black Friday so I caved and bought a full bottle. I’m so happy! Definitely worth it especially at the price it is right now.

Okay call me boring but i kinda love this. Yeah it’s a bit pricey to be a pretty normal perfume but it’s everything ive been looking for. I wanted a perfume that i can wear at daytime and smell good without smelling like im wearing a lot of perfume. At first it’s really fresh and you can smell the citrus-y but when it dries down it’s this smooth fresh? vanilla in my opinion and i love it, it’s like smelling actually good without smelling like perfume. I like this intense option more because it’s not really that intense but it’s more sweet than the original, and even tho i don’t really wanna smell like wearing a perfume i still wanna smell a bit sweet if anyone understands what i mean.

So good, I smelled it on someone and I was immediately sure, this will be my next purchase (i have no self control). But it’s not something, that was readily available, sold out in many places so went on my wish list, my dear husband checks my fragrantica acc for ideas and he bought it for me. It’s so beautiful, white floral done so well, opens up sparkling, fresh and invigorating. Dries down beautifully to sweet vanilla I love. It reminds a bit of Jimmy Choo I want choo, but in terms of the feeling it evokes. This is so versatile, day, night, whatever you want. I don’t wear it often, I cherish it as I only have a small bottle and the feeling it may disappear from the market.

I have used this every day now. Day and night since I bought it. I am almost always happy and content when I wear this. It last around 10 hours or more on me. It is like a clean fulfilling first boozy vanilla. Then a lovely vanilla - I think I smell great. I can smell it as I move around. I dont need more than two sprays. It is very cold winter here now. So I feel it coms to its right now. Beautiful but you must like vanilla in a kind of heavy way. Brought it with me for Christmas holiday at my in law’s. Felt it was to strong there to wear. But in the room we stayed and where I had sprayed it on - there it smelled very good and clean. Like a room spray, hi hi.

Classically feminine with a really balanced blend of citrus, florals, and sweetness. It's not overpowering or heavy on the white florals like J'adore L'Or is, but it's there. She's effortless and present. Doesn't demand attention, yet she gets it anyway, because of how beautiful she is. Perfect year found imo, signature scent worthy. Great for date nights and classy night outs, but probably not for clubbing. Compared to OG, Intensa is slightly more serious but still friendly. Voce Viva is slightly softer in comparison, also very beautiful, even easier to like since it's even lighter on the white florals. Young professional, I imagine 20s, early 30s, very kind

The OG voce viva is pretty but Intensa is BEAUTIFUL. I absolutely love it. Easy reach every day. Sweet soft beautiful. I don't get the top notes thankfully but I do get jasmine and orange blossom, bourbon vanilla (same valentino bourbon vanilla note that's in their Donna born in roma also a beautiful ❤ imo) and moss. Its like a soft purr on the skin and the OG is more like a light bright shimmer. I just love this perfume, lasting power isn't bad either. I don't think I'd change anything about it. I do wish Valentino would bring out the matching lotion like they have for their other perfumes though. ❤ it's quickly became my favorite every day scent

This is my absolute FAVORITE fragrance. It’s literally what I wear when I’m home alone because I love it that much. The word “grape” has been mentioned multiple times when others have smelled this on me, and I kind of agree. It has great sillage, even 8-12 hours into the day. It’s very sophisticated in my opinion. Something that can be worn for any occasion and is probably a good year-round fragrance. No regrets with this purchase. Nobody talks about this one, but I’m so glad I decided to try this one out. I’ll keep this in my collection forever! I don’t get compliments on this one... but I love it for what it is

After YSL Libre, the accord showcasing orange-blossom slowly but surely has been making its way into mainstream perfumery. Voce Viva Intensa walks in this way very well. It sounds like a familiar tune, where its floral heart, made from orange blossom and Jasmine, pairs with sugary vanilla. And it all embraces a huge dosage of crystal moss, with its special mossy earthy and woody touches in the base. It hints at the neo-chypre feminine fragrances. . It’s a stunning show on the stage. Voce Viva Intensa’s great performance celebrates and sings its admirable presence, much the same as Lady Gaga’s live shows.

I got a travel pen of this and I will say that the original reminded me of YSL Libre-and that’s one of my FAVOURITES!!! And this intense version is exactly that an intense version of the original. It with a note that sticks out that I can’t figure out but it smells soooooo good!!!! It also is much like Libre but again, has something different . Not sure what it is! If I figure it out I’ll return with a new review, but as it stands now, this is so lovely. I love the cover how it’s square with gems on two sides and this gorgeous purple ish colour on the others! It’s truly so nice!!

I was absolutely crazy about it when a lady at macys sprayed it for me on a card. I carried it in my pocket all day and just kept getting delicious floral vanilla-y whiffs and even thougnt it could be in the running for my wedding fragrance. I bought a 3.4 oz bottle and after wearing it for some time I kinda fell out of love with it. It lacks complexity but in that way it’s a crowd pleaser. It smells like your average bath and body works fragrance mist + more sillage and staying power. Nothing spectacular but it’s a gorgeous vanilla floral.

I completely blind bought this just because I found a very reasonably priced travel spray, and it was a complete success. While I don't think it's super-groundbreaking, I do think it's very beautiful. I'd call it a mid-sweet, smooth, balanced white floral. It's a bit rich, but not too decadent or heavy. I don't pick up much distinct citrus, vanilla, or moss. I think it's fine for day-wear as long as a light hand is used, but you might skip the hottest summer days and the office. Otherwise, I find this an uplifting and classy easy reach.

I had a sample of this perfume which I took on holiday with me about a year ago. I really loved it but threw away the sample bottle and forgot all about it until recently I came across this one and the original in a store. My holiday memories came back so I had to purchase a small 30ml bottle of this. Wow Valentino fragrances are so very expensive for a designer scent IMO. It does project so hopefully the 30ml will last me a while. This is a wonderful fragrance, more for early spring and cooler days.

I like the original, it’s safe and bright and inoffensive, so I thought I’d give this one a shot. The bourbon vanilla elevates the scent to another level, this is absolutely beautiful (bourbon vanilla is one of my favorite notes). Both are versatile and could be worn most of the year, for any occasion. But this one just has a little something extra. I’ve got a travel size of both, and if I had to choose one to buy a full bottle of, it would undoubtedly be this one.

I’ve only recently started getting into Valentino scents but I’m definitely at the point where I can pick up the DNA they carry from scent to scent and I really like it. This scent is extremely similar to Paradoxe but just a tad less... sweet? Maybe? I can’t quite put my finger on it but I like this one more. It’s very comforting and projection is fantastic. I’ll come back and update once I’ve worn it a bit more; I just got this in the mail today. $45 for 1oz!

I am so in love with this perfume. It smells so deep and warm with enough sweetness and freshness to be able to be worn at any time. This captures what I wanted YSL Libre to capture for me, which is that boss girl essence that everyone was talking about. There are perfumes that are pretty or fresh or just plain sweet, but this scent is absolutely divine. I love how I feel when I wear this!

I smelled this in the store and fell in love with it! It is a little niche, I can identify it on someone else easily. It lasts a long time and simmers down super pretty on the skin! One of my best friends also loved this one on her first try, it's just one of those fragrances that you would think about. The notes seem a little generic but the composition of it is so wonderful.

This is one of my favorites of the designer perfumes in my collection! It’s an easy reach for me, and a mood booster. I love the sweet floral and vanilla combination and this stands out to me in a sea of sweet white florals. The moss note pulls it together, and it’s just a sparkling sweet but fresh and floral fun scent.

I bought a dupe of this just on a random whim and ended up falling in love with it that I immediately bought a full bottle of the OG. I love this more than Voce Viva, and I think it's because it's not as sweet and does bear similarity to my other favourite Prada Paradoxe.

The warm spicy vibe from the original is very toned down and the pomegranate opening is gone. The vanilla note has been amped up. Sweet, but not immature. Projection is intense, yet feminine and inoffensive. I can understand why people would want to own both.

My fav perfume ever to exist I never get bored of it and it smells nostalgic to me I love every note in it .I don't want it to get discontinued ever it's long lasting and perfect for all seasons I'll buy other flankers in case because it's my signature 💖💖💖💖🥰

This fragrance is beautiful, smells very similar to Donna Born In Roma but not in a way that you only need to own one and not the other. Nicer than the original and much longer lasting, a true definition of intense. I’m already on the hunt for another bottle

Easy to wear fragrance, smells veey pleasant and I dont think anyone can dislike this scent. I love the opening which is this fresh orange blossom citrusy blast.However this perfume does not stand out, the scent is very familiar and not unique.

This is a gorgeous white floral scent! The orange blossom and jasmine are really prominent, and they last all day on my skin. It's sweet and powdery, but not overpowering. Perfect for spring and summer evenings.

Such a beautiful, bright floral fragrance. I love the intense version compared to the original, the extra deepness is SO lovely. I think this one would be good year round as well, it's just lovely.

This is like a blend of Valentino Donna born in Roma and Prada paradox with peach I know there’s no peach in the notes but i smell white florals and peace ( a slight jimmy choo i want choo vibe)

I love this so much🫶 It smells heavenly to me. Not overly sweet but still sweet, a little fruity with a soft vanilla. Can wear it at day or night. I can say that it is a sexy and cozy scent.

Just classy. Beautiful, perfumey, strong. Rich. Absolutely gorgeous. Dries down to the most beautiful warm vanilla with a little something something. Slightly cooler days is when it shines.

Beautiful! Like a softer version of Prada Paradoxe with a mossy, vanilla base. Very inoffensive & great for every occasion, although I would say more of a daytime scent. I love it 🥰

I’ll start off with saying that I was completely against getting this fragrance because I truly disliked the OG version. I low key hated the OG because I couldn’t step foot into a department store without a salesperson telling me how good it was and I pretty much despised the scent of it. I’m not a huge floral fan but I do have a slew of frags with floral notes, albeit mostly woody and vanilla based. Anyhow, I went to check out the new Valentino beauty line and the lady basically forcefully sprayed me with it - bless her heart ( I was so annoyed when she did it). She insisted that I’d truly like it since she knows I like Born in Roma. After a few hours of this being on my skin, I kept thinking I was around someone very pleasant smelling while on my subway ride- let me say, it’s rare to smell anything pleasant in NYC’s public transit. I got home and again, wow something smells no nice! It wasn’t until I was about to shower that I realized that it was my wrist that was forcefully sprayed. Since then, I kept thinking about it and it basically haunted me ( I kept hearing Lady Gaga in the back of my head). I went back to the department store because I’m a shopaholic and the same lady was there and she asked me what I thought and I told her that I think I like it. She gave me vial samples and i used them and told myself, if there’s a frag promo, I’ll get it. Of course there was a 25% off and I bought it, I love it! Especially for fall and transitioning to winter. It falls within the same vein as Chloe Nomade, (I would choose Nomade over this)but I guess This can possibly be considered a modern Chypre. Im not a pro nor do I have a well trained nose at least for now. To my nose, I get jasmine, Amber, it’s warm from the bourbon vanilla but the moss gives it some contrast. I quite like it! I like it a lot, it’s smells sophisticated and not sugary nor cheap. If you like warm, woody florals this may work for you! Otherwise, thank you for reading my long winded review.

I struggle with how I really *feel* about this one. I loved the original Voce Viva. To me it is an orange pez candy, with a creamy sandal-moss dry down. I really liked the moss accord in the original. I liked it so much I tried to go full bottle. Unfortunately the seller sent me Intensa. It is pretty, but definitely lacks the ginger sparkle and magnolia, as well as the sandalwood and deeper moss of the original. The addition of Jasmine, and the doubling down on vanilla may not have done Intensa any favors. It’s still very nice, but different enough to disappoint me when I spray it. The orange-orange blossom/jasmine-vanilla combo is enough to veer this way into the direction of Libre Intense/Golden Decade. With Intensa being more tolerable, more citrus, less laundry, less in your face than either. It is very similar to Olympéa Solar, with Rabannes’ release coming across as a bit more full, a bit more *more*, sexier, and just as long lasting. Testing side by side, I decided Valentinos’ version of this scent profile to be sophisticated and treś chic, with Solar coming across as more modern and fun. To anyone wondering, to me Intensa has no relation to Alien Goddess (bergamot-coconut-vanillla), they’re totally different. I have been wondering if I need to keep this one. I’m thinking about trying to trade it for Paco Rabanne Fame, which I haven’t tried, but intrigues me with its’ mango-jasmine-incense description. Maybe that would be a bit more my style? Voce Viva is a nice acquaintance to make, but we’re not going to be going steady anytime soon.

After testing (and tossing) several niche fragrances (some of which have been hyped on YouTube), I came to this scent in my sample pile not expecting much of anything other than a 'meh' reaction (or possibly gagging if it was truly horrifying like those niche samples were lol). Well, surprise, surprise! This takes the original Voce Viva and deepens its tone, smoothing out that high-pitched screechiness that bothered me enough to the point that I don't wear the original at all in spite of liking the scent overall. This has the potential to become a holy grail for me and I do not like mossy undertones to fragrances at all but somehow, it works here in such a way that my mom even complimented me and that's saying something since she does not care for perfume as much as I do. I sprayed heavily on my lower body and elbow creases (can't put anything on my neck or chest as it generally exacerbates my asthma symptoms) and could smell it for about three hours, which is fine with me. Smells sophisticated but not complicated and the moss balances the white floral sweetness very nicely. This just goes with my chemistry so well and I am shooketh lol. I'll play around with the samples I got as the weather continues to cool down and if things keep going well, a full bottle of this is definitely in my future. Well done, Valentino, well done!

I tested this fragrance about a year ago in a well known parfumery And I immediately fell in love - rich bourbon vanilla with lots of jasmine very similar to Alien - right up my alley. Since I already own Alien, i didn't purchase a bottle. Now a year later I came across a rather good deal of a full tester bottle for a decent price so I snatched it. The online shop I purchased it from is well known to me and I purchased there many perfumes before without problems. But what a disappointment it was now!! This bottle smells NOTHINIG like the tester in the shop I remember a year ago. My bottle Is all about the MOSS..I hate it. There is no vanilla And no Jasmine. Only some bergamot And some Orange Blossom in the background but actully it's all just about moss. The bottle seems original, I doubt it Is a fake. But how can two bottles of the same perfume be SO EXTREMELY DIFFERENT??!! Should i try to let it macerate, was it a wrong storage problem or just my nose? My mom gets a lot of moss too btw.. I'M SELLING MY FULL BOTTLE. I'm based in Europe

I get a sweet jasmine with syrupy, bright citrus. When comparing to the original, there’s the obvious difference in the lack of jasmine in the original version. This makes the Instensa have that laundry detergent jasmine smell. It’s reminiscent of the laundry detergent/bourbon vanilla in Born in Roma, yet much lighter. The original Voce Viva leans more into that orange blossom fragrance. This claims to have moss, which I love. However, I do not detect it. There’s comparisons to many other fragrances. I think many are fair. Both versions of Voce Viva are lighter and have and airy quality to them. Other fragrances they are compared to tend to have a heavier base (including Prada Paradoxe) The Voce Viva line is more suited to everyday wear, especially in the daytime. If I had to choose, I’d actually go for Paradoxe because it does the white floral vanilla combo the best by rounding it out with more amber and musk.

Lovely fresh bergamot and citrus opening that trails away and leaves a warm vanilla and dusky crystal moss base with hints of white flower. Both oriental and gourmand to me. Edit: I have fallen a little out of love with this, which is typical as I have a 100ml. That seems to be the kiss of death for me. I've started finding it a bit headachey. Maybe the white flowers and moss. I love vanilla fragrances, but this has become a bit much. Maybe too earthy. However, I have the White Company - Seychelles body wash and moisturiser, and this perfume is the perfect pairing. The notes compliment each other well. It's a clean gourmand due to the citrus and bergamot. I have a massage today, so this is a perfect combination it's fresh, clean but floral and gourmand.

I've had samples of both the original Voce Viva and the Intensa, and I must say the Intensa is a much better version. The original I think is pleasant, but a bit generic and forgettable. On initial spray of Intensa you get a lovely hit of sweet citrus and white floral, then the vanilla peeks through, and it stays pretty linear on me from that point. It reminds me of expensive hair care products. I think this could be a signature scent for someone and I think this could work in most seasons apart from in the sweltering heat. Similar vibe to YSL Libre, but I think I prefer Libre as it is more aromatic and has a bit more punch. Don't think this would be a purchase for me, but I can appreciate it's refined scent.
