9 | Nine

THIS is my dream fragrance, my signature fragrance. I've been desperate for Fragrantica to add it to the site. It was the first bottle I bought when I was first beginning to go out and really smell fragrances, test them, get to know scent families, brands, etc (encouraged by the passion of my dear friend Lucia). I was living in Germany and came across Valjues, and Nine blew my mind: it's sweet but not too sweet, so warm, enveloping, comforting. But not ditzy! Not B&BW! The cozy adult cotton candy of my dreams. Now I'm so close to finishing my first bottle and made sure to buy a second before I moved back to the US last year. It's not a hot weather fragrance, but it's PERFECT for fall, winter, cool spring weather, summer evenings. I get near-constant compliments wearing Nine. When I pull a sweater over my head having worn it a week prior, I nearly melt. My landlords (whom I love!!) used to comment that they could tell whether I was home or had left to go to work yet by whether they could detect the fragrance in the building's entryway (complimentary). I want to cry just typing this up, can't put words to how obsessed I am with this fragrance (and how obsessed the people in my life are with it as well) <3333 & whether this is a pro or con for people, I've never been able to detect the citrus that's supposedly a top note! this lands on much more of a deep, musky, sweet spectrum, plum & apple only in hints

My favorite vanilla fragrance! It's so creamy and delicious without being too sweet. I don't smell any of the notes listed here. Just soft, pretty, whipped vanilla cream. I can't get enough. This is what I had hoped bianco latte would be. But where bianco latte is dry and powdery this is milky and creamy.

What a lovely, sweet, powdery, creamy scent. On my skin the drydown turns into a whipped cream kind of fragrance which I love. I only have a sample but would love to have a full bottle. Update: the drydown on my skin is 1-1 Lattafa Eclaire so maybe it is not worth the price tag for me

to me this is almost if not indentical to vanilla haze. I little sad i didnt know, cause vanilla haze is cheaper so i coulve picked up a full bottle of vanilla haze instead

This one is so good! A successful blindbuy! The perfect sweet fragrance without being cloying. I can see it working all year round.
