Rêve D'Ylang

Tried it once at a store along with other offerings from this house, could not forget my first impression, as the name suggests, what a great ylang dream! I get yellow fruit Bubble gum from this, if you like how Babol bubble gum tastes and want to expierence it as an aura, you would be happy to try this, probably the mix of cardamon together with fruity yellow flowery notes is how it comes to light, in short words it is a stellar fragrance if you are bored with how the current market heavy on oud rose leather is hitting .... sadly the unique (for my nose) mix lasts for the first few minutes then falls to a warm sharp and spicy flowery pleasant but not very special drydown. I don’t regret buying it since i have not smelt anything close to it during my few years expierence in niche fragrances otherthan the Kenzo jungle one, which has more cinnamon and is a little too heavy on clove in my opinion, is it the best ylang ylang? Might not be, but it is defintely special and very fun to expierence, great and unusual addition to my collection and would recommend for all genders. Full price worthy and blind buy safe if you are looking to expand your collection into a more versatile unique one.

This is a very powerful, spicy ylang fragrance, not your typical soft tropical ylang perfume. I blind bought this because I really wanted a high quality ylang dominant fragrance in my collection. What I hoped to get was something creamy, sensual and floral but what I actually get from the opening right to dry down on my skin is slightly dirty, ancient and sexy. The combination of the cardamom, spice and patchouli with the ylang creates a powerful dense ylang incense like aroma, (think of the colour burnt umber) this is sensual but proudly wild, exotic & evocative of ancient sensual rites that were held in elaborate temples in the Ancient. I bought this at a discount but I honestly do believe it’s worth full price. Who would wear this? Bilquis from ‘American Gods’

Truly, THE longest lasting and strongest perfume I have ever owned. It's so unique too. I can see similar vibes as Black Orchid, but this is so much better.

To everyone wondering about the availability (or lack of it). SA at VC&A at Place Vendôme confirmed that the perfume has, indeed, been discontinued.

All I can smell is the ylang-ylang, it's like strawberry 🍓 / cherry 🍒 lollipop 🍭 kinda smell, super sweet
