Polder

This has become my absolute favorite perfume I own. It is a very aromatic, herbal and grasslike scent. You can really recognize some of the polder herbs in this perfume! So much so that when I am not wearing it and cycling through the polders of my region on my way to work, I recognize the smell of the different plants and herbs! Because of that, this perfume does indeed remind me of the scent of the Dutch polder. On a summer morning, an early fall afternoon or a sunny summer evening. To me this perfume is day and a sunny evening. It has such an interesting scent profile, but I can understand why it could be intense for some people. Some of my coworkers think it smells too intense, and attribute it to the grassiness of the perfume. I love the grassiness of it though! It certainly is one of my favorite aspects of it.

The greenest green I've ever smelled (positive). Reminds me of summer evenings in my garden after mowing the grass and planting some fresh herbs. Very odd to smell in the winter while freezing my ass off, but I'm sure i will love wearing this in spring and summer.

A very green, herbacious, aromatic and surprisingly bold vetiver-forward fragrance. I love the carrot seed too, a lovely note that adds to the botanical vibe. Great value for such a quality fragrance, deserves to be much better known.

Very realistic grassy, vegetal meadow smell. Smells like some of the fresh sap of plants. I can appreciate the artistry though it's not something I'd wear. It's now 3 hours in and the prominent grass and sap notes have receded to the background and more musky, amber and woody notes come forward. We've moved from rolling in the meadow outside to being inside the wooden barn where the hay is stored. I'm starting to like this more after the opening. I'd say this is perfect for sunny spring days, those days where life is in the air after a long, grey autumn and winter. Natural and uplifting.

Indeed, a very realistic and natural mix of leafy, grassy notes with a slightly bitter undertone at the opening, like the smell of a crushed leaf. After the opening the scent tones down a bit, becoming slighter warmer and less green. To me, it's not a challenging scent at all, just very natural and realistically green. I have to admit that I'm currently wearing this, while overlooking Dutch meadows/polders, which have just been hit by summer rain. This perfume absolutely nails that exact sensation.

Really grassy herby mixture. Like being in the forest or fields, taking a bunch of plants close to the ground, crushing them then taking a sniff. A wonderful piece of art, a dedication to Nature. Takes me outdoors, even when staying inside the house. Sometimes I think there’s some Calone in it to give it an airy vibe. Mixing this with Megamare for a full outside experience. It’s not a people pleasing fragrance. It doesn’t have to be, it’s meditative quality is just for myself.

Polder is a very green, camphorous scent with a heavy dose of earthy patchouli. The mix of notes reminds me of green cannabis. I personally dont like it. This smell similar to "Bois - Cannabis"

It's more art than a fragrance. It's not pleasant to my nose. But I appreciate the artistry
