It opens up with a lovely woody scent that reminds me of wet pinewood. The blueberry note makes it smell like a really nice warm cup of foresty tea to me. It really is like breathing in forest air. It can be a bit overwhelming though. It seems to last forever on my skin, as I spritzed two sprays on my neck in the morning and even after a shower late at night I could still smell the woody notes of the perfume!

Could be a signature scent in my climate. Get the forrest but also a very plessant fruity sweetness. Nice to have a dutch niche scent. I get the blueberries and the pine and a smooth base with mosses woods and vetiver.

I got my sample in the mail today and immediately tested it: I really like it! It is a quite masculine classic chypre fougere. The "vegetal" notes make it very classy, and the addition of blueberry makes it less bitter than the typical "grandad cologne". The oud also gives it more depth and rounds this creation. I think it's a very well done fragrance, and in my opinion safe to wear in a lot of occasions if you like chypres.

I was looking forward to trying this one most of all, since out of sea, polder, mills and forest, I'm definitely most familiar with the latter thanks to where Iive. Perhaps it's this that makes me more critical of it and disappointed. Sweet (from the blueberries), woody, oudy fragrance. I get a blueberry, luxurious oud smell, not so much the musk, pine, resin and moss from the description. Smells Middle Eastern. After 2-3h the fragrance is still very similar. Still not getting any resinous or pine notes, which is a shame. For me this is too fruity and too sweet to remind me of the forest. It needs more moss, pine, resin and earth. I want to smell rotting leaves and logs of wood. Edit: had the idea of layering this with Encre Noire (which I have the opposite problem with: too earthy and dry). The result is much closer to an actual forest scent, imo.
