Frosted

As I wore Basic Instinct for almost 5 years and then quit to explore more, I had to get this.purely for fun, not a hefty price ether. This is the one I use after the gym. On days when Im just having jeans and t-shirt och tanktop. I smell real clean and feel fresh. Its more sporty fresh than Chanel allure sport, Aqua fahrenheit and less alcoholic-stingy than versace pour homme. Something simple loong lasting for days when u just want somwthing safe simple good smelling fresh and not offending anyone. Sure DHI, Chanel allure homme are tons of better parfumes but if u dont match your smell with ur outfit and mood then it will just be wrong. I wont wear DHI to jeansshort and a singlet and not Frosted to a suit.

Awesome scent. Very long-lasting on the skin. Feels quite powerful from time to time. People had asked me couple of times what scent I am using.. and everyone says "I never heard this scent" For me with a personality.. it's a perfect trendy Edt. Highly recommend

I like this fresh scent. It doesn't offend anybody but on the other hand, it isn't very exiting either. You get a fresh citrus opening and a nice drydown. Best for warm weather but you can't go wrong with this fragrance in any temprature. It's a safe scent that anyone can wear. I got it cheap, it was around $10 at the Xmas sale so I got two bottles. Decent performance and longevity makes it a very good buy. Not one of Van Gils best juices but still one that I enjoy and will buy again if the price is right.

Two flankers have been added to the Frosted line. Frosted cologne and frosted intense. Cologne has some similarities to the original, it’s less heavy. Fougere, Ambery, Marine. Intense is a completely different scent, Woody, Aromatic, Ambery, more mature than the original , no sea water notes or watermelon vibes. I’d say intense is more of a night / wintertime scent whereas Cologne (and the original) is of a more daily driver, daytime fragrance.

Opens up very marine yet citrusy, initially a bit harsh but settles down to a really masculine scent with smoky wood notes. I think this is a hidden gem for men who like sporty/masculine perfumes. Suitable for summer days with light clothing, age range between 18 and 40. Came really cheap too, 75ml edt along with a shower gel for 9€ :)

Blind buy of Frosted light because it came very cheap. Nice cap and bottle. First spray seemed quite potent but already after a few minutes, scent stayed very close to skin. It was then, and still is no good. I tried it on several occasions, just to give it a fair chance, but it keeps reminding me of those blue toiletblocks. So personally, I think this is a waste of money, even if it comes cheap. Something I would have appreciated when I was about 12 years old and thought blue Fa-soap smelled great. Only good for kids. Or toiletblock-lovers.

I loved it in the beginning. It has a lovely citrusy opening but the main notes are heavy. Smells like burnt wood on me. My edition's called "Frosted Light".

Love it,love it,love it. Just gorgeous,sex in a bottle! Starts off very fruity (WATERMELON)kick,and a bit too much sweetness,then evolves into major woody/almost smokey accords. Base notes are very strong leather,rum & resins (labdanum/galbanum?). Yet again,Van Gils proves they are a fragrance house with a kick up the arse of commercial perfumes.

Clean smelling boredom. Got it as a free sample, it will stay that way. Don’t get me wrong, it is not a bad smell, you get nice orange blossom, sage accord with clean soapy tonka drydown, but I guess most of Fragrantica readers are after something more eloquent and sophisticated.

inoffensive, personally i get a lot of cedar even though its not listed in the notes. Smells very professional and masculine
