Baby Rose Jeans

This is such a comforting scent to me. When I put this on, I get the "everything is fine"-feeling immidiatly. It calms me down with it ́s floral sweetness. It has an undertone of baby powder, defenetly! It ́s also a bit old fashioned, but it ́s not what an old lady would wear. It is light and bright. I can defenetly smell the freesia in the opening, later the violets come in and make it sweet and soft, mixed with the sandalwood and vanilla you get a comforting "happy" scent! It defenetly doesn ́t smell cheap, not at all! It ́s a VERSACE still! ;) It doesn ́t last very long, but that ́s okay. It would bother me if I would have paid 50€ or more for 50ml, but since you can get this precious darling for 15€/50ml it is not bad to apply it more often and it doesn ́t hurt. I ́d say that this is a very safe scent. It can ́t offend anybody and it can ́t be annoying IMO, it ́s too light, fresh and clean to be annoying. Also it stays close to the skin and doesn ́t surround you with a cloud of perfume. I love it and I would defenetly buy it again after I finished my bottle! It ́s a nice home/daytime scent, perfect for every season. Makes you smell fresh, sweet and clean. Very nice!!! *edit* On my skin it lasts at least 5 hours, which is pretty good IMO

this is actually so good, it got stronger over time and it literally got even better over time!! Nostalgia but also, has this just turned into a bomb by being mummified in my storage for so long? This is actually stronger now than most new releases anno 2022?? Smells so good! Sweet and just a little bit flossy, but actual depth as well! Beautiful flowers to round it out, musk gives it the mystery. I am so obsessed I need to find myself another bottle! Very preppy scent. Basically smells like someone born into money lol XD dunno how else to put it. And definitely a girly girl. But this is nothing like flower bomb or lolita ( both I really don't like ). This is a sweetness I can handle and it has enough notes to balance the sweetness into something quite spectacular. I'm 35 and I consider this serious perfume. My other faves of mine ( just so you know what my taste is like) are : Boucheron Boucheron, Jean Louis Scherrer Nuits Indiennes and Pop Delights 2, Burberry Brit, Dolce & Gabbanna Pour Femme (red cap original) and La Perla J'aime la Nuit. I wish Versace would re- release this exact scent!

wait I'm having a girlhood moment here reading all the comments on how this was like EVERYONE'S first perfume! this is too sweet. this was my first perfume. my dad gifted this to my sister and I , I could not have been older than eight when we both received Baby Rose Jeans. it's just a bottle of nostalgia for me. I wore it so innocently and obliviously back then, I wore it for fun, I wore it to copy my moms routine of a spritz before church, I sprayed it then forgot about it. that's the whole memory of this - a little girl who smelled like powdery candy and didn't even know it! I finished my bottle and forgot about this, but in college I found my sister's bottle with a 1/3rd left and she let me have it. It just sits on my nightstand now, it's cute little packaging. playful, sweet, youthful, bit powdery, it's so perfect for it's name "baby rose". I haven't worn this in ages, at 25 I feel a bit too old for it, but it will be a fun experiment if I do wear it out one day and see how it performs. I'm so happy this perfume has a way bigger community than I thought it did.

This was my first ever perfume in my life and I have such strong memories tied to it that I just have to love it and remember it fondly. In addition to the bottle, it came in a metal canister and I used to come into my room at the end of the day and just savor the smell in the canister and I loved it so much that I barely ever used it. It was quite sweet, but a good balance of florally. Keep in mind I was probably about 9 or 10 years old when I had it, so it might have been sweeter than I remember it to be lol. Scent Description: Sweet, Balance of Fruit and Floral Sillage: At least an arms length Longevity: Decent, 4-6 hours Presentation: Came in a cute canister and the bottle itself was also beautiful. It was a very thick frosted glass with a classic Versace design that feels very expensive, with an adorable pink cap.

Baby Rose Jeans was my first famous designer scent. It was given to me by an aunt and It was cherished gift. I wore it when I wanted to feel extra pretty and I had repurchased it at least twice. It literally had a baby rose yet refreshing citrusy scent that smelled like sweet and sassy innocence. It smelled light just like how rose scents are made now but replace the champagne note and add citrus. I kept the last tin. Delightful for young and older women in the daytime and suitable for a teenager who today (2024) would wear Ariana Grande type scents all the time, with the extra prestige of it being a Versace perfume. It's a real shame it's discontinued. I called Versace's customer service and was recommended to try Bright Crystal in the pink bottle, but it's not the same.

I just discovered this perfume on a slightly obscure online retailer and purchased it blind. I am a fan of powdery and soapy scents so I expected to like Baby Rose Jeans, and I do. It's got a fresh note of smooth "floral" mandarine that floats above the warm rose and powder base. I think I detect hyacinth but it's fleeting. This is a soft and gentle comfort scent and it's more than a skin scent. I get about a one metre projection. If you like the floral powder group you will probably like this. I believe it's discontinued, but you can still find it on eBay. I am glad I purchased this. Edit. Today when wearing this I am getting a jelly babies vibe, which may be because the juicy madarine reminds me of orange jelly babies. It's making me want to eat one.

This has become my current go-to scent in this summer's record heat. It's light, gentle and sweet and stays pleasant no matter how sweaty I get. It reminds me of violet chewing gum - if there's any note that stands out a bit on its own, its the violet to my nose. Really, it's quite well blended. The sandalwood is a whisper, and just gives it a touch of powder. No, not great sillage, which is not always a bad thing - something I find particularly unpleasant is standing in line at an amusement park (or wherever) in 90 degreee weather and catching a clashing mish-mash of really strong perfumes - bleaaahh, hello headache. This does not add to it!

This was my first perfume, a gift from my mother before she shipped me to my late aunt's for the summer. As a result, it is very near and dear to my heart. It smells very homey to me. Like a someone else said, a before noon fragrance. On me it smells sweet, powdery, like lily of the valley and violet, with a slight rose aroma in the dry down which is otherwise do inmates by vanilla and sandalwood, though citrus notes are detectable at first,vthey quickly fade away. This scent lingers on me for about 6 hours. While I wouldn't wear this out, I enjoy wearing it on my lazy, at home days while I bake cookies and sip tea.

Always wanted to try this and I was delighted with this fragrance. I personally find it soft. light and gentle. A fragrance for day wear, that smells of soft violets and jasmine, freesia. The drydown is just lovely sandlewood and a whisper of vanilla. I think that this perfume has been beautifully crafted and i find it rather comforting, it must be the sandlewood. A lovely, light soft gentle fragrance, perfect for days when you want that gentle touch of a fragrance. I find it perfect for any age group and not childish in the least. Also a very economical fragrance that is gentle on your budget.

Loved this one. Sweet not sickly, girlish without being cheap. Its a tough ask, but Versace did it. Faint candy notes, almost like those little French violet-flavoured lollies in an oval tin. I get rose, but it does not dominate. Vanilla and violet, yes. I almost get raspberry too, but can't see that mentioned. Delicious. Edit December 2015 Bliss, happened upon someone selling this online. Aaah. I adore it. What a score! Just as I remember it. I wish there was something else out there similar, for when I finish this precious bottle up.

I do so love this. I don't really get individual notes but I don't mind. The powdery ness is just right, the sweetness is just right. Alas it does not stay on my skin long enough but it remains a whisper on my clothes. I like to use this at night, at home. My children love it and I like to think they will retain memories of my wearing this as I kiss them goodnight at bedtime. I initially bought samples from Ebay but have recently won a 50 ml so should be set up for a while longer. Really sad it is discontinued :(

THE scent of my childhood - pre teen years. My first "real" perfume. I still vividly remember the sweet powdery scent (surprisingly very long lasting). Wearing this made me feel the same spark as when my mom let be borrow her lipgloss. Holding the matte bottle that I could have sworn felt like velvet in my hands. I'm so sad to see it discontinued, it was a lovely scent that was age appropriate that I'd repurchase in a heartbeat for the nostalgia. I hope I still have the bottle somewhere.

This was my very first perfume. I cannot describe how much I love baby rose jeans. It reminds me of spring mornings growing up in the countryside, and the impatience for the first blue hyacinth flowers to bloom. I didn't get any powdery notes, only fresh flowers, hyacinth being the most prominent scent. I don't know if I would wear it again if I found it, but I would definitely spray my linens.

I absolutely adore this scent. I grew up with it. It reminds me of my childhood so much... My mom gave me a bottle of this at the time. It smells fresh, I smell cherry and rose and everything blends beautifully... I can smell a strong and sharp note of neroli (or maybe it is just a bit turned if the bottle is old, not sure) but it goes away after 10 minutes. Overall adore this scent

I do like this! I bought it blind based on the reviews here and I'm glad I did. I was worried it would just be a baby powder smell. There is a little bit of that in the middle notes but then it fades to that powdery violet/sandalwood/vanilla. Somehow simple yet it doesn't smell in any way cheap. A good buy. Also, I got this on Ebay for only $22! Bargain!

my first perfume, would have been around 5-8 years old in the 00s, my older sister had the red jeans fragrance. This along with gwen stefani angel and vera wang princess were my first loves and what created the monster i am today. I would pay a silly amount of money to get my mits on this again.

Only have one bottle left so I keep it firmly in its can and in the dark. This one reminds me of a pre-teen, carefree time in my life in the early 00s. Walkmans, cinema not netflix and balmy summers spent in the park or shopping mall <3

Very much not the normal type of fragrance to go for but I really fell in love with the soft powdery floral scent. I do smells roses, but its not over powering. It lasts quite well. Cute bottle and a really cute scent.

My favorite perfume of all times. My uncle got it for me as a child. It is a great shame that it has been discontinued. Powder + rose + green + violet + musk are the best combination to ever exist.

My very first perfume <3 I think I’ve finished 3 or 4 bottles of it. I used to wear it as a little kid, probably around 2003–2004. I’d love to own another bottle someday :)

This is a bit of an oddball in my collection that has grown on me over the last few months. It is very powdery and the way the hiacynth, violet and mandarin orange come together in the opening gives it a very bubblegum vibe. That is to say, at first, this smells like baby powder and bubble gum! Nothing wrong with that. I like the smell of bubble gum, I like the smell of baby powder, it's not for everyone but I dig it. Then it settles down to a powdery floral...although I don't detect rose, it's more of a violet scent. The odd part is that despite this it doesn't smell childish or young to me. I could easily see adults enjoying this scent, it lacks that juicy fruitiness I equate with "young" scents. It is an eau de toilette, so staying power isn't fantastic but it is cheap, so it's not like reapplying is gonna hurt your pocketbook much. Unique enough to be memorable but inoffensive enough for every day use, it's a nice pretty scent. That's what I'd call it, "pretty". Not "chic", not "sexy", not "daring", not "alluring" but sometimes you just want a light pretty smell and if powdery florals with a touch of bubblegum is your thing, I'd recommend this.

Although this does have the word baby in it, I don't think that it is intended for babies. I think they used it more as a descriptive word because it is a soft and delicate floral powdery smelling fragrance. I don't smell roses in this at all. I can smell the freesia in it as soon as I put it on because intially I found it overwhelmingly sweet, but that only lasted 2 min. or so thankfully. The blast of sweet mellowed to the powdery violet and lily of the valley. It smells old fashioned, and brings to my mind immages of Victorian days. The bottom notes are soft sandlewood and vanilla. It would be a perfect first fragrance for a girl/teen (though any age can wear this) because it is not too strong, and I doubt anyone would have an objection to this. I put a lot on and still I could only smell it when I put my nose to my arm. If you are looking for a strong fragrance this isn't it. I think I am more neutral on this fragrance but I put it in my likes. I could see myself purchasing this at some point though because the price is very good! It lasts a little more then 4 hours on me. I can still smell it but not really well.

The bottle and concept are cute and adorable. It's a petite 50ml bottle with a frosted glass finish and cute pink topper. As for the fragrance, it's not sweet in a conventional way, I can't really detect the vanilla. When you first spray it, it's got this somewhat sharp "perfumey" smell which screams 'early 90s'. Then after it's dried down it becomes a little softer and semi powdery. I smell the violet, fressia and sandalwood mostly. Even though it's got mandarin orange listed, I don't find it citrusy at all. It's nice and would make a good gift to a young girl who is growing tired of sweet fruity florals because it would make her feel sophisticated and classy, without smelling like a prostitute, it is Versace afterall! I have also gifted it to a more mature working woman who loved it as well. But I would recommend you test first and not to blind buy.

* Office Safe - 10/10 * "Headache" Factor - 7/10 - start with a small spray; it's floral so the headache potential is there. I get NO candy smell in this whatsoever. Baby Rose Jeans is all about soft, gentle and pretty. Freesia, violet and a tiny bit of vanilla and sandalwood is how it smells on me. This reminds me a bit of Love's Baby Soft, but it's MUCH more elegant and refined. If you're looking for a "big statement scent", keep looking... this isn't for you. If you: a) like soft floral or cotton blossom-type fragrances or b) want a safe fragrance for the office or c) are looking for a pretty, light, versatile warm weather scent or d) need a "safe" fragrance gift or then I suggest that you try out this darling little scent.

I just have to add that if you liked the scent Tabu used to have, like back in the day-- say in the late 60's and 70's-- this is it. I have a bottle and love the light powdery, rose and violets. My mom smelled it and stopped in her tracks and asked me what it was that I was wearing. I showed her the bottle, and she was happy to find out that someone had finally recaptured the original scent of Tabu. I will agree with other reviewers in that the scent is warm and cuddly, very reassuring and snuggly. As far as a special occasion scent, depending on the occasion--one would stand out wearing this. It is good for any season, and is a shame that it has been discontinued. :(

i wear this to work and ive had many adult women, one even 60years old with a prefrence for chypre fragrances give me compliments and say i smell like vanilla, she was even intrested in buying it. Another woman asked me what im wearing and heard how cheap i got it and said she was off to purchase it as well. Im a big fan of voilet and now on my second 50ml bottle. Im 24 and i absolutely have fallen head over feet for this fragrance IMO not only for the young one's; seems to be genrally apprecitated by all ages. Not for the lovers of POISON but im not a lover of those types anyhow. Soft sweet and special

This reminds me of candles it has a waxy smell to me could be the violet. I wear this in my hair and I can smell it all day. If however, I spray it on my skin it does vanish quickly. I will always have a bottle because now I have found a way to get it to last. It reminds me of red door revealed in the pink bottle which I also have and like. If you like soft pink powder smells then you would like this. You will need to spray it on clothes, scarf or hair to get it to last that for me is the only problem. I find in Australia it is hard to get the red jeans is everywhere but this one not so much anymore.

The packaging is so cute and the fragance smell like spring.. Versace do a great job making this fragance for teen girls.. Maybe for a 9 years old girl this is ''The fragance'' but for me is just a nice floral.. Paris Roses Enchantees by Yves Saint Laurent smell so similiar, and I personally think is better, cuz it has more powerfull fixation.. Don't pretend that this fragrance lasts more than three hours.. But this tiny parfume can stay in your purse and can be use every time.. Especially in days of picnic party ;)

Bought this for a steal, it sounded promising although I am wary of overly powdery scents. I was pleasantly surprised, it's powdery but not in a fussy way. The hyacinth tempers the powdery violet quite nicely, and creates a very nice rosy, baby smell. I agree with the reviews that state this is a good stay-at-home, cuddly scent. Would suit a child (8 and up) or anyone who is just feeling a little girly. Sillage was underwhelming, but longevity was nice - about 4-5 hours. Baby Rose Jeans was worth my $9.

This one was a gift from my father when I was 10 and it was the first perfume I ever used. I used it again one year ago (by the age 27). So many innocent memories... I think it suits me better now. I love the blasting sweet opening mellowing to powdery violet. I love the sandalwood and vanilla notes still left on me after hours. It’s not a good choice for times when you need a special occasion perfume. It is comforting, cuddly, inocent. Very nice for after shower or office.

Ok so my mom got me this perfume initially and in the beginning I thought this was the weirdest powdery smell and didn't like it, the moment I started to give it a real try I just really really liked it and was sad when I finished it lol. I feel like this perfume can go with a lot of outfits or events. It's super floral, kind of like barbie getting ready to dress up in her fancy makeup boutique and adding that sparkly powder lol. I love it still and remember it.

Soft, powdery, sweet roses. It's a very elegant, classic fragrance. Not one of those aquatic summer scents, but not an obnoxious scent either. It can be worn in autumn or winter seasons as well as in spring and summer days. Suitable for all ages. A bit old fashioned perfume. I purchased it unsniffed and got 100% what I'd expected. Although the first time when i tested it on my skin, it seemed sweeter than it really is.

It is a powdery fragrance with gentle flowers. I can't smell any violet, just the hyacinths mellowed by the vanilla note. A pretty and safe scent to wear in Spring. Gentle and safe. It doesn't develop into anything: what you smell when you spray it is what you get in the drydown. There are some fragrances which make you feel sexy, and some others which make you feel innocent. This is all for the Innocent in us...

The little out-of date combination of sweet powder (violets and hiacynths) and sour notes (freesia and mandarin orange) which dominates this fragrance makes it a somehow old-fashioned perfume for the 2010-s. Nevertheless, it still remains a safe, comfortable and pleasant little fragrance for casual daywear, one to love even in our fast-moving fashion decade.

It's definitely not chic or glamorous, not for an evening out. It gives me homey, safe and before-noon feeling. On me it's mostly hyacinth, violets, lilies-of-the-valley and powder. I'm not a fan of powdery scents, but this one I can bear. It's casual, good for a morning screening or going shopping. I like it, but I'm not crazy about it.

One of my first perfumes. I can't have loved it that much though, I had a tiny little bottle for years. I also had the red, yellow and purple metallic jeans. Red and yellow were awful, but this and the purple were ok. This one is pleasant and smells mostly like talc. Quite a light perfume,didn't last long.

Just bought a mini on Ebay to sample it. Very feminine and soft. Opens with the freesia and violets twirling together, then the hyacinth waltzes in. The procession trails into an ending when oh-so-sweet lily-of-the-valley and fresh powder tango on the skin for hours. I love it! 4 Stars!

I got it today.Nothing special,light powdery rose scent with no lasing power at all.Not worth buying ,althoug is very cheap.There are much more better powdery rose scents out there.It is so not lasting that my 50ml will finish for two days:((but it is nice

I had this parfume when I was in my early 20s. Very innocent, very light and feminine. Now I like my parfumes deep and woody, this just seems awfully powdery and overly sweet. I think it fits ladies in their 20s or even younger! It is cute and safe!

This fragrance was like my first! It's so clean, warm and soapy. Perfect for babys and little girls with acttitude! Sometimes I still wear it but my boyfriends always end up saying I smell like baby ass :P

I really like this. Tried on about a year, but I got tired. Now I give this for a birthday present, specially to 4-10 y.o. girls, and they like it a lot.
