Couture Tuberose

I’ve tried this 4 times. Initially I thought perhaps I was exhausted... my sensory capacity was overloaded upon initial blast because I thought it was love at first sniff! 2nd attempt yielded a similar response. The beautiful Tuberose acted like the assistant to a David Copperfield Vegas show! “I knew I sprayed at 3 sprays ... but what the heck?!?! The scent changed then disappeared. 3rd attempt I compared it to Ramon Monegal’s MonBloom which has a slightly lower rating in here. On my skin MonBloom shines. 2 March 2024; Revisited Couture Tuberose & this shocked the shell out of me! It SETTLED nicely into a warm Tuberose w/ hints of almond. Performs better too.

I have just tried it and, being a tuberose lover (newly converted and therefore especially enthusiastic), I have to say I'm disappointed by this fragrance. It seems to have some synthetic note in it that ruins everything for me, something like suede, which I usually like, however very "chemical" in feel. Basically it smells like moldy tuberose, and there's no further development. I hate to write negative reviews, but I thought it might be useful for people who are, like me, prone to blind buys. People, NO BLIND BUYS here! I thought this perfume will be some safe sweet almondy tuberose - not at all! Therefore, this is not a blind buy material. The bottle does not look as glamorous as on the pictures. In fact it's very tacky. Which is not that surprising, after all. Donatella, I'm loooking at you.

This was a blind buy, but I'm glad I have it. It is a beautiful tuberose fragrance, a bit sharp and " green " to start with, but soon develops into a creamy, intoxicatingly gorgeous fragrance. I absolutely love it !!!!!
