The Dreamer

To start off, I disagree with most of the other reviews on here. Versace The Dreamer is possibly the most floral, and yet also one of the most masculine fragrances I have ever smelled. I understand that a lot of people may be put off with it's strong, almost harsh, opening of the Juniper and Artemesia notes, because, yes, it is quite a shock, literally every time it is sprayed; every single spray of this is extremely sweet but as soon as it settles into the skin, it turns into this lovely floral façade. Admittedly, I also sense a lot of these flowers in the opening, which I haven't seen all too many other people also saying. In my opinion, just because it is similar to a lot of feminine fragrances that are around, it is just.. different in it's own way. The essence of it's differences actually make it insanely masculine in my eyes because it is so out there and beyond what a lot of people would even consider. I could almost call it niche, not in the sense that fragrances are usually called niche, but in the sense that it's one of these things that's so uncommon to hear about and people might consider it unique. Versace really went out there with this one, specifically the new version of The Dreamer. It's quite different from the 1996 edition, and quite frankly I prefer that one, despite unfortunately not owning a bottle. This one is more fruity, has softer tobacco notes, and lacks the complexity of the sensation one may experience when walking through a pine forest on a spring afternoon. Moving onto the actual "specifications", I think it performs very well, especially for the retail price. It has very very good longevity, lasting at least 8 hours on my skin, even in Winter where I find fragrances fade more quickly. Overall, 7.5/10

Versace The Dreamer: It Doesn’t Demand Attention. It Earns It. Dreams come in endless variations, but it’s the dreamer who gives them meaning. Some dreams fade the moment you wake. Others linger, leaving behind emotions you can’t quite explain. That’s what Versace The Dreamer reminds me of. I’ll admit it. The first time I smelled it, I didn’t get it.The opening is herbal, green, and a little unusual. I almost put it back on the shelf, and I understand why some people do. But this isn’t a fragrance that reveals itself in the first thirty seconds. It rewards patience. Give it a few minutes and everything begins to connect. The iris, lily, and flax soften the composition into something comforting and elegant. Then the tobacco blossom quietly steps in. Not smoky. Not loud. Just effortlessly confident. It’s the note that made everything finally make sense to me. The dry down is clean, slightly soapy, and smooth. It feels less like wearing a fragrance and more like carrying a quiet memory. Don’t expect beast mode projection with only just a few sprays; however, it projects for me because when I apply it, I apply with pressure. Then hours later I may apply more pressure. The Dreamer stays close enough to invite people in rather than announce itself across the room. The longevity, though, surprised me. I caught soft traces on my skin for hours and on my clothes well into the next day. It doesn’t demand attention. It earns it. Nearly three decades after its 1996 release, The Dreamer still doesn’t smell like it’s chasing trends. It smells like it’s comfortable being itself. I’m glad I didn’t judge it by the opening. It's Magic!!! My favourite/signature fragrance! Real Masterpiece! Everything i expect from a perfect perfume, from the Big One, this one absolutely fulfils all those things! This perfume and it's medusa headed black and gold bottle is the embodiment of Luxury, Mystery and Power. The scent of dreams! Mystical emotions, romantic mood. I step instantly into an other dimension by smelling this scent and i'm always entranced by it! Just like his name says: i'll be a dreamer! .... My romantic soul feels as if i were a persian prince from the tales (like in the 1001 arabian nights) who's waiting for his secret lover under favour of the night in an oriental palace garden, under the million stars in the moonlight.... The best tobacco scent combined with flowers (lily, iris and some kind of rose effect) in the heart mixed with soothing juniper! Faboulus! Rich Tobacco is the heart of the scent. That brings the masculinity into the other gentle and flowery notes. It's Unique and classic at the same time. It's quite an elegant scent in a beautiful luxurious bottle. For any occasion at any season, of course not exatly for the office... Old scool and powdery a little bit? Yesss!! That's why it works! It's a Big timeless Classic! But enough modern due this fact: do your dreams have any age? How old is your fantasy?.... I always get a lot of compliments, people are often asking me " mmmhh.. what did you put on?? ".... The flavour lasts up to 9-12 hours on my skin,( although this new version is not exatly the same as the original from 90's but it's pretty close to it!). It's even a long lasting and a very special scent for very special guys( at a very good price)! I love it so much! Thanks Versace!!!

Perfection personified!!! This is a masculine, white floral with a slightly sweet hint of luxurious tobacco blossom. Some have said it's feminine ... no way. Some women might like it ... and it is a man's fragrance ... so they could consider it unisex, perhaps. What it's NOT ... a typical fresh, aquatic, citrus or even a woodsy fragrance for men. It is a white floral, but done in a very "creamy" way of incorporating some masculine tobacco note by using tobacco blossom. Toward the final stage of the drydown you do get a little bit of amber which also adds to its masculinity. Many say that this is not a safe blind for men. I say ... IF you are totally against floral scents ... even if pulled off in a masculine way ... then this is NOT for you. Who would like it? ... collectors, some women ... and men who appreciate uniqueness in their collection and don't mind a masculine white floral ... with a hint of sweet tobacco and amber. I'm 67 and I absolutely love it ... but I love tobacco fragrances. I can also see a guy in his 30s who doesn't mind a floral fragrance and is already used to wearing some slightly sweet fragrances. For tobacco scent lovers ... you definitely should add this unique fragrance to your collection. Oh, I almost forgot ... it smells great for around 8 hours and you can get it for a budget price. Upon initial spray, this smells like fresh cut grass. Reminds me of Calvin Klein Truth. But as this dries down it’s absolutely GORGEOUS. It’s the clean scent I’ve been looking for... the perfect balance between freshly showered, dryer sheet, ethereal, chypre and pure luxury... I usually love more rose dominant fragrances, because the rose note tends to lean soapy on me, but this is perfect. Doesn’t even need to macerate. This is a unique take on Iris, and I’m HERE for it. The Iris is unapologetically front and center, with the tobacco chypre note following. It’s not an ash tray tobacco, more like the flower of a tobacco plant. Someone mentioned great for smokers, I don’t smoke, but I do like fragrances with incense and the tobacco flower has that incense vibe with a beautiful floral, chypre, powdery touch. The juniper adds a clean, sudsy feel that is really hard to find. Most clean scents are too citrusy to me but the juniper gives me the sudsy, soapiness I’ve been searching for. Tarragon tends to go super earthy and aromatic on me. I wish the tarragon was a little less pronounced but all in al It’s beautiful fragrance on my chemistry! Great for office wear as well. It’s blended to perfection. I am a woman, and this actually leans more feminine and soft in my humble opinion, minus the super earthy tarragon! Great job Versace!!!

Having been born before the 90s, I have zero idea what the original smelled like and to be honest, if it smelled even better than this then I may need a bottle too!!! This is one of the biggest surprises for me out of any bargain cologne I have tried. This reminds me of how my older brother smelled during the early 2000s, it is a very nostalgic scent that brings back memories of going for a cigarette walk in freshly washed clothes, and like one comment stated, an old comforting blanket from your childhood. It has a smoky, floral, musk, that on initial spray, smells like an old man LMAOO but after settling, it becomes this addictive smoky floral cologne that you would only associate with the past. Two reviews brought up how this reminded them of vaporwave, and honestly I can completely understand now with how nostalgic this smells. Completely unique, never have smelled a cologne like this and have worn this out now a few times with great projection and overall longevity. It lasted around 5 hours and projected about 3 feet with 5-7 sprays which I thought was perfect for the price and profile of this cologne. Not loud, not screaming for attention, but just there for you and for other's to be curious of your scent. Not for anyone in their teens, think mid-20's and onward, for $24 it is worth adding to your collection.

I'm a big fan of The Dreamer. I have all formulations: "original", "post original-pre-iris formulation" and "iris" formulation. All of them are very similar. The current one with iris and no tobacco does have some sort of a tobacco "spirit", but the big change here is that iris gives it a more modern twist. How? By making it a little soapy, cleaner and a bit powdery, just like Prada prefumes do. The first two formulations were gorgeous with the tobacco and a heavier presence. The current one is pretty sturdy too, but cleaner. I hung a shirt I wore yesterday on the doorknob, and when I passed by, I thought "I know that smell": Prada Infusion d'homme. I have it, too. One of mi signature scents altogether with Dreamer. In the air, it resembles a little bit of the cleanliness, powderiness of the iris in Infusion. So the current one is still Dreamer, but a little more modern and clean. The different formulations are not redundant: if you can afford the three of them, go for it for the full story. But if you get the current one, you'll be just fine.

Personally (I am an Arab man), I tend to avoid wearing it around my male friends, as I prefer fragrances that showcase strength, power, and masculinity. Absolute top-tier. Borderline masterpiece. I often hear people use the term 'signature scent' for average, everyday pedestrians like YSL Y and Polo 67. Well, newsflash, but EVERYONE who is ACTUALLY WEARING a fragrance is wearing something from the front counter at Macy's. Last time I checked, that is the exact OPPOSITE of a 'signature'. This fragrance is one of the few that can really be considered 'signature scent' worthy, because your 'signature' should be unique and distinctive. This is both. And, when you consider the price point, that adds icing to the cake. Yes, it's a Versace. And yes, it has been around a bit. But what it does, it does well. If you like anything in the reminds me of, or are a fan of this genre in general, you should already own a bottle. If you don't, give it a try. It is very affordably priced for what it delivers. Just my opinion, of course. As a big fan of Sculpture, and Uden, and Uden overdose, I love this. Not sure why Le Male is in the reminds though....scratching my head over that one....

Don't pay attention to reviews comparing this to their laundry, gees. Younger noses (39 and below) probably won't get it, unless they have good taste. Buy this and help it stay in production, because it's just a gem, and there's nothing out there that smells similar. The blend here smells natural and high quality, particularly in the "dreamy" drydown. I have zero tolerance for the slightest hint of a synthetic or plasticky note in perfume. This one is just the opposite: cheap in price, but incredibly high quality, probably because of that great blend. Is it niche quality? No, but nobody cares. It smells designer... but from the golden era of perfumery, so the standard is high. Wear it and feel clean and airy, winter or summer. Yes, its alive, it adapts depending on temperature. But essentially, it smells clean, like a second skin. This perfume is not about hype, trends or stupidity on social media: it's about the ancient craft of perfumery and the search of beauty.

The Dreamer is historically and culturally important because it's the last fragrance Gianni Versace worked on before his assassination in 1997. As a fragrance it's challenging. It was challenging in 1996 when I was 15, it's still challenging 30 years later now I'm in my forties. The difference is I can appreciate that challenge. When it was created it stood in defiance to the soft airy "don't notice me" fragrances that came on the back of the AIDS Epidemic and it now stands in defiance to the saccharin sweet gourmands that are currently in fashion. Where it has power in both periods is how it works WITH fragrances of those times. Wear it layered with something like CK One and the iris and tobacco flower enhance the green notes. Layered with something sweet and more modern like PDM Oajan and it tones down the aggressive sweetness making it smell something akin to a spa day. That said, it's good on its own! It's just not for teenagers or gym bros.

With all kinds of mixed reviews from "one of the g.o.a.t.s" to "one for the grandmas," I was hesitant to grab this one, but at a ridiculously low price, I went ahead and got it.... It's not listed in the "reminds me of section," but this one instantly reminded me of one I love that came out a couple years after the original release of The Dreamer: Moschino's "Uomo?" They don't smell exactly the same, of course. I think it's the artemisia / wormwood that feels similar for me... I just love the zing that note gives. The tobacco is there.. And there's an overall creamy texture that's is not quite vanillic, which I'm guessing is the iris (no lipstick or makeup smell here). Performance is good enough. In a sea of modern, sweet fragrances, this will make you stand out for sure. I don't think it smells dated, even though the original is almost 30 years old. It just smells different than what's on-trend right now, and that's not a bad thing.

This is a beautiful fragrance that I believe to be appropriate for men and women. I'm a younger guy in my early 20's and I'm not really sure why a lot of folks associate this scent with an older crowd. Sure, the OG formulation may not be very modern, but this is such a gentle and calming fragrance that I believe it could be worn in almost any situation in which you want to feel comfortable. This is like a lullaby for the olfactory sense, it is so soothing. I spray it on my pillows and sometimes I go to sleep wearing Versace The Dreamer because it is so soft and soothing <3 This is on my favorites, no surprises there. Edit: the longevity on this is very deceptive. It's a gentle fragrance, but it sticks to skin and clothes for a very long time, very subtle and inviting, it politely asks you to take a closer sniff. I sprayed this on around 4:15 AM this morning and my beloved told me around 10:30 PM that I smelled really nice. Batch DG25

I blind-buy everything. Every single perfume I have, has been bought. Blindly so. How do I choose my perfumes? Do I do extensive research on its history? No Do I listen to fragrance influencers? No Do I carefully read the comment section on Fragrantica? No So how do I choose my perfumes? I go by colors in the "Main Accords"-list. See, some color combinations catch my laughably short attention span. "What's that little purple strip doing there?" I ask myself bemused. Also funny or interesting thumbnails of notes do a thorough job of appeasing my ADHD. For example in this case I greatly enojyed the little picture of a juniper twig. Purple strip of Iris AND funny twig? My neural pathways start to sparkle & so I immediately & quite impulsively order "The Dreamer". Bottle arrives. *PSHH PSHH* says the atomizer. Liquid go smell. I sniff it repeatedly. Enjoyment pleases my nose. Scent good! Smells like purple & funny twigs!

It started here- The Dreamer by Versace This was one of my first big fragrance purchases. When it was originally released, there weren’t any discount sites—only retail stores. I first encountered this scent at Macy's and immediately knew I had to have it. I was intrigued because it wasn't sweet and it didn't have that typical blue or marine-like scent. At that time, I couldn't identify the distinct note that captivated me, but I later realized it was tobacco (flower). The Dreamer combines iris and white flowers with juniper, all beautifully laced with tobacco. It's a very comforting scent—gentle,bright, dreamy, yet also a bit dark. There’s a dusty, powdery aspect that gives it a soapy quality. I will admit that my taste has evolved since this fragrance was released, but it will always hold a special place with me. I don’t wear it often at all,but I do spray it sometimes for a touch of nostalgia.

Like Blue Jeans, you've got a Versace cheapie that outshines their standard retail offerings. Like Blue Jeans, you've got a Versace fresh summer scent with a sumptuous richness that suits it for any season. Opens with a brief blast of gin, as the alcohol boosts the juniper. As that settles, the greenness and semi-medicinal herbaciousness of the tarragon and artemesia, providing a surprisingly fitting carpet for the iris to make it's entrance on. The lily is definitely apparent, but tempered by the flax in a way that really allows the iris accord to swing it's hips. And the wormwodiness of the artemesia really sticks around. The amber and tobacco flower are subtle and tasteful. This isn't a synthetic amber bomb like many modern "amber paired with x" base notes. Maybe Versace should only make budget fragrances. They seem to bat a thousand with the fragrances they sell at a lower premium.

This is one of my all time favorite warm weather scents. The opening is a bit harsh, it’s sharp and citrusy. However, the dry down is extremely good. Very weird smelling in a positive way with a good mix of sweet/spiciness. It’s unlike anything I’ve smelled before. I feel like the scent is surprising to people because it kind of jumps out at you as a new kind of smell. It does pull compliments. Good to own, I would call it a “summer vacation fragrance” because it gives off kind of a fun, party vibe, but I wouldn’t make it your one fragrance to wear daily. It’s a great cologne if you have other solid items in your rotation. 8.5/10. I won’t give it a 10 because it is a very specific unique smelling scent that a lot of people probably won’t love. Otherwise it’s a great fragrance that is one of my favorites!

Totally different to the other versace fragrances It's not dated at all.. though it's not a trendy fragrance.. it's very unusual It was given to me as a gift and when I first tried it.. it was totally different to how my nose registers it now! I hated it! But I tried it a couple more times and I started to really like it The fact that it's different to other styles initially put me off It's an artisan's creation What you'll get is an explosion at opening of weirdness before settling down on the dry to lavender , white flowers, tobacco and it's subtle tobacco .. some woodiness and spice and all held together with amber It's not the strongest fragrance but rather a subtle waft If you want loud... give this a miss! If you are after 3 or 4 hours of sophisticated intimacy .. this is the one!

This is a must buy! The Dreamer was one of my most daring blind buys.. I was told to sample this one first before blind buying.. Matter of fact, I do prefer testing before blind buying the thing is that I find blind buying fun.. It’s very rare that I blind buy something I don’t like..I loved this at first sniff.. This is an amazing scent for a crazy low price.. Now you can talk reformulations all you want.. This batch I got is beautiful... Very calming lavender and a nice tobacco note.. I love the powdery essence this gives off.. I get a solid 6-7 hours longevity and I believe that this is an all season all occasion scent with limitations in high temperature.. I love falling asleep with this one.. it’s soo calming and soothing.. Great job Versace!! Rating 9.5/10 Outstanding

This has to be the best smelling opening I know. If I were to rate it on this alone it would be an easy 11/10. However the performance is average (5-6 h) and the dry down smells very good but not as captivating as the opening. It's just one of those feel good scents. It gives you the feeling that everything is gonna be alright . I like to wear this before going to sleep or right after getting up in the morning, so I guess the name fits. The tobacco leaf note is especially fascinating. It smells like tobacco but in a very light and smooth way, unlike many winter tobacco scents. It smells classic but not dated. It also proves that floral perfumery can be very masculine. If I had to compare it to a song it would have to be Mac Millar's "Self Care".

Got this in October, I think maceration on this fragrance has a positive effect in the base notes and performance, because it surprisingly lasts long despite its scent profile. No I am not a big fan of the opening, It's still harsh even after maceration. Once it settles after 10-ish minutes, when the powdery floral nuances start, that's about where I start really enjoying this. The main thing you're going to get here is the white floral. It's not quite the same as the one in YSL Myslf or Nikos Sculpture edt, since that is orange blossom and this is tobacco blossom, don't get them mixed up. Definitely sample first, and this is something you either start liking through time or never really connect with it. It's a love for me though.

This was NOT launched in the 2010’s but rather in 1997. The Original Vintage version that is. Its super sad what they have done to this fragrance. I strongly dislike reformulations and also those who swear there is no such thing. Yes , there is. Theres a HUGE difference. For those that DO like this, imagine some OG !!! For those who cannot find or afford or want to spend Vintage cash. You can try DUA brand called “Living the Dream” its SPOT ON 100% especially if you spray it ONE TIME then let the bottle macerate (alone in a cool & dark place away from humidity and heat) anywhere between a few months to a couple years. I did and its fantastic. Highly recommend this for cooler/winter weather.

İ love this like really in love i used nearly 40 ml of it and that might not be a lot for you guys but i have like 30 fragrances so thats pretty interesting i thought to myself at the airport its just a versace it cant be bad for 30 bucks oh boy how wrong was i. This is one of the most unique fragrances i have ever tried the florals dance with the general aromatic vibe of this fragrence but that iris that hits after the opening dang this is such a classy scent this is a scent that would make a men shine amongst all the playboi fragrances this fragrence is not somebody that you want to do the deed with this is somebody who youll be marrying. 10/10 for me

I got this for 20$ Canadian and I have to say it's probably the best 20$ fragrance I own. It is a very good performer for the price point and an EDT. I like to use it at night after getting home from work and often it holds on till I wake up for my next shift. I feel like it's also a true unisex fragrance that can work for either sex. The tobacco is not as strong as some others have mentioned and I feel that's one of the characteristics of this blend that helps make it a versatile unisex fragrance. With that said, it is probably not a safe blind buy and I can see it being more polarizing scent profile.

The Dreamer was my first ever fragrance I've bought with my adult money. When I blind-bought it back then, I don't know if it was luck or destiny, or if it's just nostalgia speaking, but I fell in love with it ever since. Since then I've tested dozens if not hundreds of fragrances, and nothing smells like The Dreamer. Not even close. It's incredibly unique and indeed dreamy scent. Definitely gives the "old money" vibes. Incredibly versatile too, I've been wearing this to the beach, evening dates, or just to work, and it just works every time. Designer masterpiece for an amazing price.

Most “timeless” fragrances seem to be a polite way of saying they belong on an older person, with all due respect. However, The Dreamer is different. It feels like those Sandals commercials from the early 2000s; happy and carefree with a slight aquatic feel that just makes you feel good. Even if you’re younger and don’t know what that means, I’d imagine you could still wear this and it wouldn’t be out of place. It doesn't exactly smell like the notes listed, it’s just a distinct smell. An that smell is really good, it’s in the running for my spring/summer signature scent.

I got this to make the shipping free in my order and although I was familiar with the scent profile, I hadn't smelled it in a long time. No regrets, this is an underrated OG, IMO not dated at all. Very reasonably priced and unique to what's out there today. It's like a masculine color violet, that's probably the best why for me to describe this scent. And although this leans slightly masculine, I can totally see a woman pulling this off. Just a very likeable scent that will make you stand out compared to the amber/vanilla heavy fragrances that are the crave now.

A few weeks ago, an acquaintance asked me for my favorite cheap fragrance. Without hesitation, I said Versace Dreamer. This one in my opinion punches way over it's price point (discounted), always smells great no matter the year, is easy to wear and most importantly, I have never gotten tired of it after many years. I don't wear it every day, but I still wear it even though I have thousands of options (bottles and decants) to choose from. Another great one from this house is Oud Noir, which is like TF Oud Wood with some added sweetness. Scent 95/100

This, is my comfort fragrance, it was the first fragrance i bought that really started my journey into this world and what an impression its left, i have had few fragrances give me the kind of comforting warm feeling, it reminds of when i started my first year at college since thats when i most used it, definitely signature scent worthy, it smells exactly like many others describe, not overtly feminine florals presented in a smoky warm platter, it is absolutely incredible how good this fragrance is for the cost, it is truly one of the best.

I was getting ready for a date. I Felt so self conscious about my odor; I had to run over to the drug store. With 21 dollars to spare and a dream in mind, I found a clearance rack with “The Dreamer” being the only thing on it. Without a second guess I got it. It must’ve been luck. But it ended up being her favorite scent. The best part? How it smelt twirling with them in the middle of the soft summer air. Wearing this at night feels like an angels kiss, if you’re lucky, you’ll get one too! Truly a dream come true <3

Nostalgic powdery floral ✨ It truly is dreamy, as the name suits it well. It’s just soft and retro but also timeless enough that I craved to have it in my collection. I do see a similarity to D&G pour homme and JPG- but it’s more of a middle child to them both than a copy and paste. I used to have this one and Versace pour homme- that one was my more special occasion scent. But over the two as time has gone on, I prefer the Dreamer more. The bottle is pure vapor wave, tumblr worthy gorgeous too imo.

Although marketed to men, The Dreamer is effortlessly unisex. On my skin, the opening is fresh and herbal — almost airy — before melting into a powdery, floral heart of iris and rose, softened by a hint of tobacco. There’s a nostalgic, romantic warmth here, like sunlight through lace curtains. It feels both comforting and mysterious, a fragrance that lingers softly yet leaves a strong emotional impression. Perfect for anyone who wants to smell timeless, poetic, and a little bit otherworldly.

Either this is a borderline magical sleep elixer, or I have accidentally Pavlov'd myself into associating this scent with my sleepytime. And tbf I'm fine with either. A cheeky spray of it while going about my nightly routine and another when I dive in my bed works wonders. Will try wearing it outside of my bedroom when the weather gets slightly less horrible, but for now I'm already over the moon. Very comforting scent. An ashy flower bouquet carried in warm amber arms.

I don't understand why I love this fragrance...but I do... this is truly a fragrance I wear for myself, I often find myself spraying this on, walking onto my balcony at night and looking at the stars, the moon, and the clouds, it makes me feel confident and calm, it makes me feel like I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be.. it is a floral fragrance that has hints of tobacco..it leans masculine but has a feminine feel. It's a must buy for any collector.

Be careful with the spray top, it's easy to break. I now have to decant mine into an atomiser to use it. The fragrance itself is wonderful. Tobacco blossom gives you a hint of tobacco, combined with a floral. I'm surprised this note isn't used more often in perfumes. I'd say this is completely unisex and gives off a luxurious vibe. Considering how cheap it is, this is a must have, I just wish they would put it in a more robust bottle.

This is seems to be a very polarizing fragrance in the community, you either love it or hate it. Personally I am one who loves this fragrance. It is very unique yet could likely work as a year round performer. While the bottle design is great I am not the biggest fan of the atomizer, just a bit awkward, however, I cannot complain considering the price. Would highly recommend testing it out but it may not be for everyone.

After wearing it for years, the uniqueness of Versace the Dreamer made me always keep a backup bottle with me. It’s almost artistic, nostalgic but not outdated, a wonderful signature scent in my opinion. Once I applied it before going to sleep, after getting baked, and I had a crazy dream, suddenly I was between the stars that are on its box, floating through galaxies, a truly marvelous experience to say the least.

My only blind buy that i actually used up the whole bottle and went out got the largest size it comes in. This is the only one fragrance out of many many i owned i did that.Nothing else needs to be said. It a dream can be yours (cost friendly), a beautiful dream(it smells like a dream). Unfortunately I cant find the original version now I am using the new version. Still its my sweet dream to me.

I've been wearing this for two years now, it's still my favourite go-to. it's a pretty unique/distinctive smell, and extremely affordable. i regularly get compliments/asks what i'm wearing. it doesn't radiate too far, in a positive way. the only thing is that if you want to wear it the entire day you need to reapply, which can be inconvenient but also nice if you want to switch scents.

I’m a 37 years old woman and I love wearing this perfume. I used to stole it from my father when I was 11, this scent is unisex to my nose, it’s light for a man’s fragrance and I still wear it when i’m at home just vegeting and being cozy in bed. It’s fresh, reminds me of the forest, and I don’t know if this version still has the lavender note but I still can smell it, very relaxing.

Reminds me of the way my Dad's Saab used to smell in the best way possible. Uniquely floral but still unmistakably masculine. I wouldn't really describe it as either warm or fresh, but I feel like it definitely lends itself to the cooler months. For the price you literally could not do any better than this, it's on the higher end of cheap but it really is such a fantastic smell.

This gets a good amount of hate, I personally have a fondness for it, I've owned a bottle on and off since it's release in the 90s and although Ive become a fragrance collector, I still like this. Its nice and it is pretty unique but versatile, and gets compliments. It just has poor longevity. But its £25 sometimes £20 ish, so it's just not an issue, overspray it, who cares.

Vaporwave in a bottle. Smells like a 'luxury elite' track. Very unique and specific scent, not for all occasions and certainly not for everyone. I think the tobacco-white floral combination makes it really, REALLY outdated, but I personally didn't mind. I'd advise sampling before purchasing. Performance is alright, but nothing too special. 8.5/10, RIP to Gianni Versace.

An excellent, complex scent that is oddly comforting. The florals are not overly feminine, but still there and very pleasant. The dry down is immaculate, sweet, clean, and dreamy. This feels like going to a childhood friend's house or receiving a warm, genuine hug. I cannot stop smelling my arm, especially after the top notes have faded. A beautiful scent worth trying!

Insanely good. Like, WOW!! I can't stop huffing my arm. Eyes rolling back good! I think you have to know you like artemesia and tarragon (slightly sour and bitter licorice-y notes) if you're going to blind buy. This won't be for everyone. It really does conjur a feeling romantics, bohemians, decadents, and yes, dreamers, will appreciate.

this is my favorite masculine fragrance. so much so that I'd spray it on myself as a woman whenever I visited my friend who owned this. the juniper and iris create a comforting, earthy, and non-traditional scent that I adore. it's aromatic but not overly sharp or soapy to me. I envision a spa bath in a warm forest of conifer trees.

Soft, floral creaminess. That's probably the best and easiest way to describe The Dreamer. Not overly citrusy in the opening, I notice the floral first and foremost. It's light softness drys down to a masculine slightly sweet tobacco scent. I great scent for a summer evening. Price point is beautiful. I paid $20 CAD for 50ml.

Another very overhated Versace fragrance alongside Blue Jeans. This stuff is SERIOUSLY addictive, on my third bottle now ! Masculine white floral in a bottle. Shines in hot weather bringing out that already great performance. Sometimes i even like to spray it before going to bed, very calming and seductive. Amazing value.

One of the most fun fragrances I own. When I smell this, it reminds me of an ancient roman politician looking out of the window of his private bathhouse into a beautiful sunlit bay as the wooden ships slowly creep their way to port. It might be the bottle design that invokes this image in my head.

Magical tobacco floral iris. I’m a sucker for iris and this stuff makes me incredibly happy. As the name suggests, I wear this to bed most nights. Other nights, I wear Clinique Happy for Men. I sleep like a baby. The Dreamer is a 4.25 and would be rated 4.55 if it had a Creed or LV label on it.
