Vanille Rouge

Simple, beautiful, delicious!! Yes, it’s another Vanilla/Musk fragrance, yes it’s similar to lots of other successful perfumes like Baccarat Rouge, but what the heck... it’s amazing!! Gourmand, sweet, cozy, and yet, very simple. Vanillic, obviously from the Vanilla... lactonic and slightly nutty from the Almond... red fruit smelling from the Rose... and with a heavenly sweet Musk, not animalic at all, just delicious! Exactly what many Mancera/Montale perfumes try to be, but don’t quite succeed. Performance is very good, projection is strong for a good two hours, then it becomes moderate, longevity is 8+ hours. Vanille Rouge is unisex ever so slightly leaning towards women, being a cozy scent is better suited for cold or mild weather, preferably for evening or night. Amazing, cozy, delicious... a must try if not a must buy for all vanilla lovers!!

This is a simple but not so simple beautiful rose vanilla, it’s very intense and a couple spritzes are more than enough. The opening is not my favorite because the rose is a little bit jam-like and it’s also when the bitterness is at its strongest. As it settles, it’s much more sweet and almost sugary, yum! The Versace website lists rosewater, marigold, orange bitter, praline, lilly of the valley, Turkish rose, musk, vanilla and amber as notes and I actually get it because the bitterness is more citric than almondy. I also feel like there is more florals than just rose in this fragrance and praline makes total sense too, it’s very sweet but not chocolate-like, more like a cream-loaded ganache. It comes in a beautiful luxurious box, but the price is quite high.

Very interesting, for a guy too, Versace Vanille Rouge tested today liberally sprayed. Sense the quality in a mature mix, linear fade minimal character changes. I'm still aware of it 5 hours later after changing clothes on a warm evening. Getting a subdued, amusing & delicate fresh musk, with softer powdery, pine, gentle base of fresh cut wood. Still works well on the skin sprays 6 hrs. Same strength on clothes, it's lasting. I could grab this, especially when needing some positive cosy warming. But first I need to test the rest of their Atelier collection, cool mission! Then hunt more Geurlain ha, Ideal has a hold on me.

This is the rose fragrance ive been looking for all this time. Opens up fresh/sweet,sweet vanilla and fresh rose with something almost boozy juicy in the background and a beautiful musk. What always bugs me in other rose+vanilla fragrances is that it almost always tends to be too sweet or jammy rose and gives me headaches. This one doesn't scream, it lures you in and once it gets you you get obsessed. I've compared it to intense cafe and can see the similarities but honestly this one is so much better. The intense cafe smells more synthetic and jammy. Get this! Cozy, sweet,seductive,comforting! Love the bottles too.

I really love this one... it opens with a beautiful rosy burst that feels elegant and soft right from the start. I also pick up a hint of saffron, even though it’s not officially listed, which adds a warm luxurious touch. It reminds me a lot of Baccarat Rouge 540 and Delina Exclusif, almost like a perfect blend of both worlds... sweet airy amber with a plush rose heart. The result is feminine, luminous, and addictive. A truly pretty scent that feels both comforting and sophisticated. This is my second bottle from the versace atelier collection, i love the packaging of the atelier bottles. - Bhavna Darira Chesan

This smell so lovely and I can't keep myself from sniffing my upper wrist throughout the day. The lightly sweet vanilla aroma enhanced by the almond scent is a heavenly combo. Fleeting rose note going along with occasional bitter musk punch definitely adds more flavor to your experience. TLDR: Definitely a bottle worthy for vani-frag head out there. Also, the box is so beautiful and the "thread spool" bottle is solid and surprisingly easy to handle.

ladies, if you want a man to make out with you and cuddle you, get this perfume at all costs. such a sweet, boozy vanilla licorice-esque smell, with the lingering stain of a kiss on my neck left as the result of spraying it so much all over me. while i hate perfumes with rose notes in it, i make an exception with this one. i feel so sexy with this on it’s crazy. an absolute amazing early christmas gift i’ve ever had.

Superb! This is a red vanilla done right, spectacular. Worth every penny and more, quality here is not in discussion. Perfect for dates - not dinners, it's a bomb! - and wintery, cold nights. Fills a room with 2 sprays and I can swear there's some citrusy note though not listed. Absolutely divine, sweet seduction. It's rich, smooth, round. Top marks from me.

I would never have purchased this due to the name alone, but an SA chased me down at the Armani Prive booth and sprayed me. I left with a bottle. It is a gorgeous red vanilla, a bit lactonic, and opens with a round raspberry-strawberry note (almost like the one in Dior Rouge Trafalgar). It does turn a bit candy-floss, as others have said.

My absolute fav perfume. It does smell somehow like mancera s roses vanille yet so different. Everyone notices it. It’s a very loud but beautiful scent. I am in love. It’s very expensive but it’s worth it. Just love love love I hope they never discontinue this one... summer/winter u can pull it off all year round

There is something interesting here...however, there is something irritating as well. I'm not saying I didn't like it.. I did but something in it is missing and I think its the wow factor in the Versace line. the similarity with other brands...hmmm it drys down beautifully..I guess Over all 7/10

This is such a beautiful fragrance with the rose and vanilla being standout notes. Extremely long lasting and projecting. Smells similar to Arabians tonka but different enough to have both. Imo everything about this fragrance is good from the packaging to the bottle to the smell. Solid 9/10

rose vanilla and mask with almonds that smell like Tonka I love this, it is a perfect symphony.. its seductive, luxurious, Smooth, more refined than budget competitors Masterfully blended creamy notes, sophisticated and expensive-smelling gourmand profile.

Finally got a full bottle of this. It's a vanilla bomb, very sweet but there's just something about it that I love. To me it's a very boozy vanilla and rose scent, probably leans more feminine than anything but I think a man can definitely pull this off. I think Jordi Fernandez foes boozy vanilla very well. As others have stated it isn't anything crazy unique but I personally didn't have anything like this in my collection. It's certainly overpriced for what Versace is asking but fortunately you can get this for less than half of what it retails for. The bottle is one of my favorites, so beautiful. The performance is honestly pretty good, you don't need much and it lasts for hours. Its pretty much wine and roses to my nose. Not as bad as some reviews are saying, I really like it, just don't let Versace fool you into thinking it's on par with Louis Vuitton or some of the other privee lines.

Glorious rose vanilla. More rose than vanilla (at least in the beginning) which is good. There is a wetness to this one and a hint of spice in the periphery, and there is an almost chocolatey aspect to this. Its not subtle but nevertheless its nice - however I think you could get tired of this quickly as it is super rich, this is like a big glob of deep red brown ice cream from the Italian gelato place, overflowing the tall silver serving cup. Need to revisit this in colder weather.

it was nice but its dusty and odd at the same time. top notes: fruity (lychee), vanilla, bitter, powdery, nutty middle notes: powdery, cardamom, vanilla, sweet base notes: baby powder, vanilla amazing presentation on this one. had a bottle but I grew out of it really fast. performance is very intimate. 7.75-8/10 on this one.

This is a really nice, deep, dark vanilla rose fragrance. Rose is one of my least favorite notes...to me it's a screechy note. However I do like this perfume, especially the dry down because the rose continues to fade over time. If you don't like rose, I suggest you give this one a try.

Oh wow, so gorgeous but definitely smells like Montale/Mancera DNA (Roses Vanille, Ristretto intense cafe with an added powdery musk). Stunning but I already know this isn't a grave I'd reach for that often.

Very nice unisex vanilla fragrance, I admit I have been surprised by Versace. But the price is just a joke in view of the result.

Probably my fav fragrance oat. This stuff is just on another level but sadly I still haven't gotten it for myself... 😔

Smells like Montale Arabians Tonka with the vanilla turned up.

A well performing, but albeit not the most enduring or captivating rose scent. While a calm and dark leaning rose is forward throughout, and musk playing the supporting role, the notes of vanilla, and almond are more present after suggestion. It's nice, a little moody, and bends feminine to me more than unisex. I don't agree with the masses this is way overpriced as the performance was strong, lingering after 12hrs. It's not the most intoxicating rose, nor the most sensual, or picnic Sunday brunch rose. More of a solo, went to the library by myself to read rose.

When I tested this fragrance I thought to myself- lovely, but I'm sure I've smelt this DNA many times across many other fragrances. Coming to fragrantica and seeing the list of 'similars', I was justified. It's a rose-vanilla duo fragrance that is much more than just a combination of two notes, but after using Tanasuk in the past, it doesn't cut it for me. The price is eye watering for something that has been mastered in other fragrances. That's all.

This is amazing.A delicious sweet creamy vanilla with a bit of jammy rose.I get a smell of praline,honey and leather.It's very strong and longlasting.I would say its like Cheirosa 40/Mod Vanilla but more boozy and sophisticated.

Very boozy and sweet but not in a cloying way, has this jam-esque quality to it, quite nice but I don't see myself wearing it but I understand the appeal

I will be honest I was very blown away when I found this one, the first sniff did not appeal to me, but after 5 minutes when the musk settled I was pleasantly surprised. I sprayed it on my skin and tbf it was quite nice for about 2 hours or maybe a little more and then it turned a corner a didn’t appreciate, it became very candy floss like which I didn’t like AT ALL. It’s hugely overcharged (€400 for 100ml) for what it is, it’s disappointing.

To me this is a more masculine version of Roses Vanille DNA. It is sharp and abrasive. Musk rather than vanilla dominates. This is my least favourite of the bunch. Recap: Mancera Roses Vanille - roses & vanilla, TT Delox - roses & honey, Xerjof Kbridge Club - roses & caramel, Versace Vanille Rouge - roses & musk. I own them all because I love this DNA. Delox is my favourite and Vanille Rouge least favourite (also terribly overpriced)

Men , If you want to smell like a young woman , this is for you. This should bot be marketed as a 'unisex' fragrance , is 100% a womens fragrance.

This reminds me of Atomic Rose and I am highly disappointed. Smells like an unlisted note of intense pink pepper (which Atomic Rose is overloaded with) or ambroxan. Sorry, but this is a hard pass...

Ok, let me start by saying that I was never a fan of Versace perfumes not that they are bad but uninspiring enough., till I was told about the introduction of this line last week in Toronto's Versace boutique which opened 2 months ago. I had the pleasure of smelling all of them yesterday. They did not have samples that I can take home to try and get to know them more. Got some sprayed on cards and I kept pacing in the store and sniffing them but this one more. Honestly, 20 minutes in the store and then I just could not leave the store without getting it. I left the store covered in it plus my new bottle. This was half of my lunch break time spent in the store but I don't regret my fast decision. On my way back to work I was stopped by a buddy of mine who loves nothing but Tom Ford. He was very impressed for the first time with something that is not Tom Ford. Its not like any other Vanilla. I have other Vanilla perfumes but this is captivating, Great smell Great projection Great sillage 10/10 and repeat once the bottle is finished.

i think its super funny how intense cafe implies vibrant coffee, and vanille rouge implies a vanilla bomb, and somehow they both smell identical over rose, a note that's expected in neither. the world of perfumery is deviously deceptive in the funniest way. however i absolutely love this. what differentiates it is that this genuinely just smells like money. intense cafe had a slight bit of smth in the background that went sour on my skin, but this doesnt have that at all. dont understand the br540 comparisons at all tho tbh. really love it! performance is unreal as well, did a spray on the back of the hand and it lasted for a while, leaves a great trail instead of being obnoxious too. conventionally feminine, but like ive said w a shit ton of other frags it really doesnt matter. wear what smells good dont shy away from anything. presentation is unreal too, huge fan of the bottle. box even got a mirror and everything in it lmao so fire.

Strong resemblance to Montale Intense Cafe/Mancera Roses vanilla BUT hear me out... this is much more refined. It’s smoother, balanced and doesn’t come off synthetic like mancera/montale fragrances tend to do. Still it is similar, no denying that but I would choose this over intense cafe for sure and because I’ve debated on picking up intense cafe for years now (the over synthetic nature of the scent put me off a little bit) I’ll be getting this instead. It surprisingly has strong sillage/projection and good lasting power as well with a dna that is hard to dislike I feel. Is it worth the retail price of $330? No, but you can find this on discount sites for a great price.

I was excited to try this one, being a vanilla lover. However, this isn't a love for me. The vanilla note is definitely similar to Atelier's Vanilla Incenseé vanilla note, which I have also never been a great fan of. Aside from immediately thinking of the Vanille Insensee at first spray, this also reminds me a lot of Monotheme's Vanilla Blossom perfume. Atelier's version is obviously the smoother, higher-end version, but same genre of perfume. This won't be a FB purchase for me, but I'm happy to swap the sample vial I have if anyone is interested- PM me!

Smelled this at the Versace boutique in Miami's Design District and it just so happens to be the quintessential "Miami" scent: loud, luxurious, unafraid, modern. It is a scent for a Latin lover. Great for either sex and best in incredibly hot weather. Many people would classify this as a fall or winter scent, and they'd be wrong. This is a fragrance made for bold people who are full of life and unfazed by judgment. I can see Versace Eros lovers graduating to this fragrance.

Rose vanilla white floral... Don't mix up the name with the Moncera rose vanilla! cause "Vanilla Rouge" has nothing to do with that headache! Vanilla Rogue is more of a woodsy vanilla with cedar, almond shells, rosewood, and bits of musk. It has that wood shavings vibes with a touch of creaminess. I never thought that i would like any new blends from Versace, but this one is quite amusing. Beautiful.

I am a big fan of Versace Scents and this was a blind buy, I must say it I have not regret it ever since. It's the best till date, it's something very original and rosy, it soothes me and make me relaxed. Sometimes, I spray it in my room to refresh the air.

If I’m being honest this is a beautiful rose vanilla! Masterfully blended but it’s very close to mancera roses vanille and MFK gentle fluidity gold. If you have either of the ones I mentioned then I wouldn’t purchase it.

Smells good but I already have intense coffee which is similar so I Dot’n need it. I have some perfumes that are similar and need to swap some of them I have to many to keep similar ones.

Take the DNA of Roses Vanille/Tanasuk + the rose from Delina Exclusif. That’s Vanille Rouge in a nutshell. Sillage and projection are nuclear, as it should be considering the price.

This is a slightly sweeter version of Rose vanille...not original at all. I guess some people will like it...but I am so tired of this type of scent. A sample is more than enough.

Fruitti roses... I ger fruits on Turkish roses, so mostly it is sweet on sweet which kind of makes it cloying sweet roses. Too much.

Seriously??? This is if they mixed a really bad dupe of BR 540 with a weak watered down version of Roses vanille.
