It smells like JPG when I first bought it back in early 2000s- great clone at a fraction of the price- strong also and lasts well. Only thing missing is the cool bottle

Blind buy whilst visiting a pharmacy online (and had to spend a bit more to get free posting). This was £4.50 for 15ml, so a very cheap buy and I wasn't expecting much from it. All I can say is 'Yay! I got a bargain!' It's lovely, very much worth tracking down. I'm female, and this is marketed as male, but I think it's definitely unisex. The initial vanilla burst is grown up, it's not gourmand sweet, its subtle and creamy but with a hint of warm leather and some smoky notes. Its followed by a gentle lavender, somewhat soapy and warm, but not overbearing soap and not really floral. I don't really get much spice, the clean lavender is the most prominent note on me. It fades quickly (about an hour) to a skin scent, but lasts about 6 hours or so. To me, the mood it evokes is comfortable warm cosiness, an open fire in Autumn. It really is a scent that seems like it should cost 10x as much as it does, it smells natural and high quality, and I've had nothing but compliments wearing it (and enjoyed telling everyone how cheap it was!)

Found this brand in a local pharmacy. All of their perfumes are quite simple, as you can see in the note profile, but they are smelling great and they're cheap! I've only tested this but it reminds me of Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male. Very strong vanilla even from the start, and the lavender and cinnamon are the only other notes in the Verset one. But since Le Male has these two notes very high up on the vote scale, it's no wonder these two perfumes smell similar. If you like Le Male and you're ok with something that smells around 90% the same way at a fraction of a price, then this is the thing for you!
