I can’t understand why this one is not getting more attention. It’s really, really nice. It’s an intensely sweet rose but that sweetness is balanced out by a good amount of patchouli, wood, and a bit of saffron. It lasts 6-8 hours on me and more if sprayed on clothes. The opening is reminiscent of Peregrina, one of my all-time favourites. Rose Prive is less dense and less heady in the opening and mid than Peregrina, as it doesn’t have the caramel note, but this makes it perfect for daytime wear. The dry down is where Rose Prive might slightly outshine Peregrina: it becomes more dark and musky whereas Peregrina stays pretty linear. Rose Prive has instantly stormed into my top five.

Natalie - they look nothing like Chanel bottles IRL. There is some similarity with the atomiser and cap, but the overall effect is completely different. This fragrance is stunning. Rich, extravagant, rose with vanilla and benzoin creating a sweet cradle for the rose note. Luscious and enormous. Once again, who are the idiots voting down this brand? Some bitter individual, clearly.
