Classic and classy floral perfume. Smells like a vintage late 1970s or early 1980s floral fragrance. It seems to have aldehydes but the citrus and orange blossom is what grabs you at the opening. But not super citrusy either. A bright and cheerful perfume for day time in the spring with some formal clothes or semi formal. Yellow and white flowers that are soft delicate powdery but not excessive. It's intimate and simple. Think church or tea party in a garden. Makes me think of classy women in white or bright yellow hats and white gloves and white or yellow dresses. The white flowers are front and center. It's jasmine white orange flower and narcissus. There is also some violet, hyacinth heliotrope and mignonette. There might also be iris flower in it. The combination of these powdery florals give the last part of the fragrance a powdery edge. These flowers are sweet in the way flowers are sweet and have a very small green kick. This has amber which is also very obvious. I don't detect any musk or wood just a little green base with amber. Too bad it is one of those can only be smelled on you up close and has very poor projection or sillage. It has a short life too no more than 2 hours. This is very grown up perfume; sweet and pretty. If you like vintage perfumes like Chanel 5 or Chanel 19, Ivoire de Balmain, Givenchy III, or Chanel Cristalle this is going to be your perfume. It's for church or a wedding, a tea party, a special event. I love it!!

Absolutely gorgeous and sadly quite difficult to find. I accidentally wrote a quite glowing review under 'Sirene', not having realized that Originale is also labeled 'Sirene Originale' on the mini box I possess. So even though both are Sirene, the one on this page is very different indeed from the later one shown with pink liquid. The bottles are identical. As for the differences between the scents, this particular Sirene is a ravishing floral in the same general category as White Shoulders. It is both ladylike and animalic, highly seductive and proper at one and the same time. Five Stars!

I like the sharp opening, but one should get this perfume just for the beautiful bottle.

Vintage review .25 parfum spray (1990) release Its a well dressed floral with a sharp opening. The mignonette and the citrus gives it a sharp introduction.Hyacinth,Jasmine, Heliotrope and tuberose in the heart, with a amber musk drydown, which interestingly is like...nuit de noel. This is in the vein of YSL Y, vivre, etc..the green hyacinth dominates so make sure you enjoy Hyacinth. It reminds me when moms got dressed up to go to dinner, has a night on the town after they kissed you and put you to bed. Mature in nature.

Opens with a huge rush of spicy green notes and quickly transitions to a herbal musky skin scent. Very unusual and yet wearable, this is the green counterpoint to the sweet, feminine Sirene. Spicy green scents like O. can be challenging to wear, but this one's work safe due to moderate sillage and lasting power. Hyacinth and jasmine are at the top of the pyramid, I would have guessed oak moss and narcissus. None of which are favorite notes but I still like O.

I love Sirene, its been my go to scent for 20 years. Any time I see that another fragrance has similar notes or reminds someone of Sirene, I try to track that fragrance down. So, I read the review below about this being sold as Sirene, and how it was similar, hunted it down on eBay, got it in the mail today. This is nothing like Sirene. This is very powdery, very musky. In fact, if I sniff it up close (even over a hour after application), a very strong cat pee smell smacks me in the face and makes me gag. There are some pretty floral notes in there somewhere...kinda like the cat peed in the flower garden type smell. No good. I've tried one other Vicky Tiel fragrance hoping to fall in love with it as I did Sirene; but so far, nothing comes close. I wondering why I bother looking for others when I lovr Sirene so much. Anyway, I have a full bottle of this stuff if anyone fancies a trade. Its a tester without the cap.

That's it! just as i remember it! I remember my mom had this on her makeup table, a weird bottle in transparent green with a yellow liquid inside and sculpture of women engraved around the bottle. As a kind i saw this quite weird! but i remember back then (mid 90s) that i kept on choosing this fragrance in particular out of all her other chaotic fragrances on her table and wear it when we are about to hit the road anywhere, and i LOVED it back then, and to be honest, its quite cute. It's musky floral with orange blossoms, ylang, narcissus, and jasmines. i do detect hyacinth, and some herbals as well. It's greenish, with jasmines, and sour notes. Old memories.

Overall very satisfying, but it's worth noting the musk is strong in this one. If musk is not your thing, this isn't for you.
