Thirst Eau de Hard Work

For a hard earned breath of fresh air before you hit the pub spruce up with a shower and a spritz of this beauty. Don’t worry it only lasts about an hour but by then you will be downing some ice cold VB beers into your belly and it will be seeping out the pores. It’s reasonably nice but very faint perfect for a little something if you had a shower before you went to bed. For all us Aussies it’s a bit gimicky but the presentation and the price are the perfect gift for someone tricky. Well done to all our international readers should you be down under and spot it grab one it’s the perfect reminder of your trip to the lucky country. 10/10 at that price.

Very pleasant take on a "blue" fragrance. Its definitely a fresh scent with a bit of depth. But really what is it about this one that sets it apart from the other blue fragrances? Let me explain! It has barley and hopps, making a fibrous simple dry green smell. Combined with the ice note and citruses makes for a perfect freshie with some kick. The barley and hopps really enhance this one and almost comes across as actual beer at times. The way this is structured reminds me a bit of Bleu de Channel. Aussie Fragrance also claims this. There's some floral notes that I don't really pick up on. But I assume it adds some smoothness to the whole blend. Good scent, mainly what you'll get is a fresh wheat smell with a blue fragrance background of freshness and some kick. Nothing too bizzare, but definitely a nice buy. Performance kinda sucks, overspray needed

I don't like VB the beer, that being said, this is a good little addition to your perfume collection simply based on how cheap it is. It does have a great smell, the only letdown is that its performance and sillage is pretty terrible. Smells like a cross between Spicebomb and Bleu de Chanel. Something like this would be ideal for when you want to freshen up but don't need your scent to last the whole day, perhaps dinner/movies/dates etc.

overpriced for what it is, very nice bottle and the smell is very fresh, although it barely lasts past 30 minutes on my skin. good aftershave spray but besides that nothing much else than decoration.

It's just a little bit of fun, Australians get it and my husband got it in his Fathers day show bag last year. It's fine non offensive and my husband seems to think it's okay.

Bought it for the bottle. The scent is just mid and the performance lasts 3 hours. I wear this to work because I have 3-hour shifts so it's perfect and it's just something cheap I can chuck on quickly. I got the 150ml bottle and it isn't even close to running out.

Obviously I got this for the bottle and jokes. It’s a good one for the collection. The scent is actually not horrible. It’s very fresh and I do get a slight smell of beer. However it doesn’t last over 30 mins. I only use it to spray around my bedroom.

Utter rubbish... Gifted as a joke... And it is a joke... No beer smell here (thank god)... Generic wish wash... Best left in the fridge for when you run out of things to drink... I will return to this page occasionally to groan and laugh at all comments espousing the virtues of this perfume from others... Positive: nice packaging...

I've seen this sitting on the shelves of Chemist Warehouse in Australia for months, maybe even years now. I've seen em stock up, I've ignored it, I've seen the shelves empty, I see them stock up again, I admit I've gotten a bit curious about the scent profile.... Someone must be buying this. Today I've got a chance to sample it, & whilst yes it is actually quite a pleasant fresh citrusy fragrance that fortunately smells nothing like beer (& even more importantly, smells nothing like Victoria Bitter beer), in the time it took me to write this review whilst standing in the aisles, it has dried down & settled into almost nothing. I feel like I'm standing here with whatever is left of a can of whatever cheap beer I've just shotgunned. Probably better off with the shampoo or body wash for the fragrance, except the longneck edt has the best packaging with the bottle cap top.
