Bare Vanilla Cashmere

I used it once and didn't like the opening. It felt unisex to me. I tried it again and it's ridiculous how much I like this now! The dry down is GORGEOUS!! Definitely reminds me of Kayali Vanilla 28 but I don't consider it a dupe AT ALL. I have both so I did a comparison hand in hand. I don't agree that this performs the same as Vanilla 28 either. This mist is way lighter (for obvious reasons). Layering both will get you the best combination and performance though. Also, for a mist, the performance is not that bad. I think it's the strongest Bare Vanilla I've had so far since they're all very weak. After Bare Vanilla Candied, this has become my second favorite Bare Vanilla flanker of all times Scent 10/10 Longevity 4/10 Projection 5/10

This is straight up Vanilla 28. I love this flanker of BV and I already left a comment saying how much I like it. I recently blind bought Vanilla 28 and was so surprised when I realized I already had that same scent profile on a body mist. In comparison Vanilla 28 opens very boozy, like an alcoholic sweet vanilla, but the dry down it's pretty much THIS mist. If I'm being picky, Vanilla 28 is stronger and projects much more, it's slightly more creamy, refined and matured. Not old lady like, just more grown-up, while this mist is like a younger sister. But still SO SIMILAR. In fact it's much closer to Vanilla 28 than OG Bare Vanilla.

I love this so much!!! It smells so divine and way better than the original Bare Vanilla spray, I find that the original Bare Vanilla smells too much of alcohol and has a horrible and cheap synthetic vanilla scent. Idk what it is about the cashmere vers, but it's so much better in every way, smells much more deeper, sexy, rich, and sophisticated. In terms of longevity, it is a $20 body spray, so you can't expect it to linger too much, you will have to reapply every 2-3 hours. Sillage is okay and I always get compliments when I wear this! If VS makes this an official designer perfume, I would 100% purchase.

Amazing! It's my favorite scent from this collection (I like all scents from this collection). When I smell it, I envision feeling cozy by a fireplace during a cold fall/winter evening. It's cozy, sweet and a bit smoky and powdery. Somewhat mysterious and sensual. Nothing novel but perfectly blended. Certainly my favorite release from VS in Q3. It reminds me of Anthropologie Pharmacia Vanilla Doré in the drydown. In the opening, it's reminiscent of La Belle by JPG. It's less smoky and more sweet-leaning than recently released VS Autumn Shore (which I also like).

My favorite bare vanilla flanker so far, even more than Candied that was so famous. The OG bare vanilla is a lot more woody on my skin while this one is much more feminine thanks to the orchid that gives it a powdery delicate quality. I don't think the patchouli in this becomes dirty earthy at all, it's more like a very creamy patchouli, it's just soooo addictive to smell and becomes a more sophisticated cozy version of the original. But I love patchouli in most perfumes, if you usually don't like patchouli then this one is not a safe blind buy.

i'm surprised with how much i love this! i get the orchid but it's not super distinct, so this is mostly bare vanilla plus patchouli. patchouli is very hit or miss for me, but this is truly a "lush" patchouli that's creamy and soft, without being excessively loud. it just grounds the vanilla and makes it a bit more perfume-y and deep, like the og bare vanilla's older sister. unfortunately this mist is pretty light, but a bit stronger and longer lasting than the og.

I didn't like the opening so much but it was sweeter on my skin than when I tried it on paper. and the drydown smells a little like sweet coffee and vanilla, I might like it! It's more mature, luxury, smoky, mysterious, unisex scent than original Bare vanilla. I think it's especially good in the cold season. and this is very long lasting. last scent is just sweet, soft vanilla. Update: I already want stock of this! I might more like than original Bare Vanilla♡

I absolutely cannot bear patchouli, so I wasn't expecting to like this at all - but it was love at first sniff! I couldn't specifically put my finger on the patchouli or orchid, but there was something soft behind the scenes that enhanced the yumminess of the vanilla... it's creamy, sweet and edible. It actually made me happy every time I moved and I got a whiff of it. This bad boy probably isn't going to make it as my sister's christmas present, after all...!

The patchouli note is so strong at first it goes like up my nose, It's a bit much at first. After that it settles really nicely though to a cozy warm vanilla. It's very unique compared to the other bare vanilla flankers I have in my collection and much stronger, and I have a lot of them. It's spicy, maybe slightly boozy, and woody is what I get from this!! I highly recommend wearing this one around fall/winter because you will get a lot of compliments

Bare Vanilla Cashmere is definitely in the top 5 when it comes to VS. It smells like Kayali Vanilla 28 but creamier. It’s not as smoky as Vanilla 28 and while I am a fan of Vanilla 28, Bare Vanilla Cashmere smells exactly how I wished Vanilla 28 would smell. I’m not a huge fan of patchouli and I feel as if BS Cashmere have the perfect amount. I wish VS would stop letting their good scents be one time only. Definitely stock up if you can.

First off, this reminds me of Bare Vanilla Luxe with patchouli added to it. Second, it smells like a perfume. It's like a "darker" take on Bare Vanilla. I see the words "sexy grown woman" whenever I smell this. It's a sensual scent. The patchouli in this, is very present, but it's sweetened. This is a scent I'd absolutely grab if I was going on a date & I wanted some action afterwards 🤣 I think it's backup worthy as well.

Really yummy. The vanilla and patchouli are what I notice the most, nevertheless the orchid is still there and gives it a powdery touch, but I also notice some (?) caramel and woods, and I love it. It lasts up to 14 hours on skin and days on clothes for me, and the sillage is ENORMOUS. For some reason (after 3 months of macerating) it makes me remember Bianco Latte. For the price, it's a steal.

This is hands down my favorite body mist of all time and I’m so glad I bought several backups. It’s the most delicious sweet vanilla patchouli scent, it’s warm and yummy and perfect for going out or staying home in. It’s perfect to pair with a lot of other scents as a base, and if you can still get yours hand on it it’s definitely worth purchasing.

SOOOO nice. It starts off very strongly with patchouli, almost giving it a minty scent, but eventually settles into a sweet, warm vanilla with hints of freshness. Bare Vanilla never misses, and this one definitely doesn't. And bonus, it lasts longer than the og! I'd layer this with Vanilla Bourbon (MixBar) or Kayali Vanilla 28!

Hands down my new favorite body mist (BBW’s Wicked Vanilla Woods used to reign supreme.) This one performs really well for a mist and the scent is SO SEXY, sweet, warm, and comforting. Layers beautifully with my sample of Vanilla | 28. If VS made this in an EDP, I’d buy it and take Vanilla 28 off my wishlist. I am obsessed.

stunning stunning vanilla bright, sweet, soft, i dont get a lot of patchouli by far my favorite of the bare vanilla line it reminds me a lot of cheirosa 40 which is INSANE because the notes are very different but its like cheirosa 40 wrapped in a cashmere vanilla blanket

YES I love this!! it smells like paan (in a good way) and its a very subtle sweet scent it's very feminine which i usually dislike in fragrances but this is an exception. BLIND BUY! I love mixing this with other scents aswell but it's AMAZING on it's own

Not your basic unoriginal sweet Vanilla. It just refuses to be that way and that's what I love about it. Sometimes it vaguely reminds me of after eight mint chocolate thins.

To me, this smells exactly like Vanilla Lace. It has the same vanilla extract smell to it, hardly any patchouli. Its lovely.

Such a gorgeous layering fragrance, like the more grown up version of the original Bare Vanilla. Really good!!

BVC smells much more luxe and expensive than it actually is. A mature, cozy, vanilla, in the best way.

I have Bare Vanilla, Bare Vanilla Golden and now this one, and I'm really liking this for the colder weather. I like BV Golden for cold weather as well, but this one has a deeper, more complex vibe with the patchouli. I'm not a huge fan of patchouli, and when I 1st saw the note I thought I wasn't going to like it. But the patchouli adds that depth. It also sits in the background opposed to being overwhelming. It is def there, and adds an earthiness to the fragrance, but overall I think it really compliments the vanilla perfectly. VS did a really nice job with this flanker. I have seen various comparisons, and though it does not smell exactly like Vanilla 28, I would say that it would be in the family....if Vanilla 28 had a 2nd or 3rd cousin, this would be that cousins child. Since it's a body mist it's more watered down and not as complex...but there are def some similarities. I think this will pair very nicely with Vanilla 28, along with a lot of other fragrances. Someone down below had mentioned this being back up worthy, and I'm kind of agreeing. If you do really like this, I can def see purchasing a backup.

to me this is a slightly caramel-y vanilla fragrance, the patchouli just gives it a more perfume quality but doesn't overpower the scent. kind of reminds me of ariana's mod vanilla because at times I get this creamy cocoa butter vibe from it as well. this is amazing to layer with other perfumes (I love pairing it with britney's fantasy or ariana's ari), but its honestly also perfect just on its own. the longevity is really good as for a mist and I can pretty much smell it all day. I think its especially perfect for winter or autumn because of the warmth and coziness it evokes however I also love using it in the summer/spring and don't find it to be overly sweet or suffocating 🍨🌫️

I have the lotion in this fragrance. Very patchouli heavy. Not a big fan of patchouli. I only us this to layer with my other bare vanillas mists. On the dry down, smells very similar to body fantasies Vanilla.

To me this kind of smells like Pumpkin Marshmallow Latte from B&BW without the heavy pumpkin/spicy note.

I saw people saying it smelled like kayali vanilla 28, which is a fave of mine. But I was kind of skeptical for some reason. So I ordered some and to my surprise it really does! It smells really really good! It’s different from a lot of the Bare Vanilla limited editions. Even though I like those as well, they are definitely more fruity and juvenile. Even though I’m not scared of that at all, this is definitely more complex, and deeper. And it lasts longer as well!

Reminds me of Britney spears prerogative in some way. Or black opium. It's got the same vibe to it. I actually like it. I got 6 bottles of each mist and lotion. This is one ill use daily in warm or cold weather but best in cold weather. This and pure seduction cashmere are amazing and worth back ups. Note:smells amazing with ch good girl supreme and black opium. Actually smells great with many other fragrances where you want to add vanilla to it.

It's like the mixbar vanilla bourbon and kayali vanilla had a baby, but honestly if you have either of those you don't need this and had I had the chance to smell in store I would have passed on it. Alas, my poor blind buying addiction...

This reminds me of OG Black Opium, especially on the drydown on clothes. Has that same syrupy note and deep vanilla, I even think I smell coffee. I haven’t owned Black Opium for a long time and now I’m sitting here, getting whiffs of it.

don’t get this, if you don’t like patchouli. I smelled it side by side the kayali vanilla 28 and I don’t think that smell alike. I don’t like the kayali either, but it’s better than this.

i love patchouli so I might be biased, but this is better than the original! it’s creamier and more sultry. it feels more mature, like bare vanilla’s older cooler sister.

Exact dupe of vanilla 28. No difference whatsoever, performs the same as well. Got this for $6 and sold my Kayali bottle and no regrets.

In the fall/ winter weather it definitely smells more like black opium le parfum.
