Bare Vanilla La Crème

I never cared for the original Bare Vanilla mist, but I LOVE checking out its flankers because I generally find most of them to be better overall. La Creme is my favorite flanker, next to the Cashmere flanker. La Crème is a lighter scent profile than the Cashmere (which is deeper and sweeter, and more suitable for Fall and Winter), but oddly, La Creme is longer lasting than the Cashmere flanker. I wish I would’ve picked up backups of this one, because I have a picky nose, and this and B&BW Wrapped in Vanilla are my 2 favorite vanilla body mists I own (And I own many). This is straightforward, and linear. It opens and persists as a creamy Lactonic whipped vanilla with some refreshing coolness from the mint. I detect 0 flowers in this. This is what I wish Phlur Heavy Cream would’ve been. This is truly an ice cream scent, and it’s not a powder bomb (thank Goodness, as that would restrict its use as being a more boudoir/at home intimate scent instead of one to confidently wear out of the house as well) and I actually feel comfortable wearing this out of the house. It doesn’t feel heavy, it’s sprightly, carefree and lasts a solid 4 hours when I pair it over the matching body cream. The scent is soft, intimate, but it surprisingly sticks to the skin and clothes quite well, and the scent has a similar veil of elegance that I liken to Snowflakes &Cashmere from B&BW. VS: please bring this back...I’ve used up 1/3 of this bottle and find it so sweet and calming, that I actually don’t want to be without it. There’s not much out there that’s like this, surprisingly.

Bare Vanilla La Crème is TRULY divine! I’m soo glad VS released it. I’m hoarding them lol, they are that delicious. On first spray, it does smell strongly minty with the Bare Vanilla scent, which at first I was not into. But the dry down - O.M.F.G! The Spun Sugar/Cotton Candy note comes full center with Vanilla as the Mint dissipates. It’s a truly gourmand fragrance! I don’t think I can live without it! It’s a comforting smell, like a comfort food from childhood. There are plenty of Cotton Candy/Sugar-like scents out there but this comes pretty close with the warmth of freshly spun cotton candy. Many of the CC fragrances currently out are missing that fresh warmth of spun sugar that is floating in the air at a fair or carnival. I usually tend to dislike the “berry” that seems to get added to the Cotton Candy fragrances I’ve already encountered - particularly the Body Fantasies CC which now has a heavy and overbearing berry note (the original Parfums de Coeur’s/Juice Bar Cotton Candy didn’t have the annoying Berries and was just pure sugar). One of my all time favorites despite being a middle aged adult - I don’t care what others think about it being “juvenile”. BVLC makes me want to revisit the original Bare Vanilla and re-try it, when it was a total pass for me.

to be honest, I like this better than the original!!! the original, it has more mature, more vanilla-y and cashmere but this one smells more creamy, light, cool, and minty. so I think this is such a unique scent. at first, I smell the toothpaste-mint here but then the minty smell gets lighter and blended with the creamy scent, like whipped cream scent. it's so good OMG :") when I wear this I feel elegant but fresh (the freshness is because of the minty scent). sadly it doesn't last long :( when I spray it, it disappears for like.. maybe 2 hours only. it depends on how much you spray it and your activity. but I recommend this for you guys especially if you like LIGHT VANILLA, CREAMY CUSTARD, WHIP CREAM, and MINT, you must buy this!!! btw if you know another perfume that smells like this but has more longevity, please lmk!! :)

THIS is what Bare Vanilla SHOULD BE. THIS is AMAZING, the OG is not.At first I didn't like it because I thought it smelled weird and minty, but once I started using it more and layering it with my other vanilla products, I started loving it. This is reminiscent of the original bare vanilla but without the cashmere, and adding more of a light, sugary, and slightly minty aspect to it. Something about this just makes me want to keep smelling it, and keep using it... Eventually I ended up using over half of the bottle in less than a month because it's just that good. I have gotten compliments from many people saying how this smells like cookies, and I always love compliments ofc.

The notes on here are wrong. On the actual bottle it only says it smells like vanilla orchid and spun sugar. I definitely do smell the mint like everyone talks about, but in the best way. But it barely lasts at all. I couldn’t smell anything like 10 minutes later and I put it directly on my wrist to try it out. It’s honestly a lot nicer than the original Bare Vanilla and in my opinion is a safe blind buy. It’s floral, minty vanilla in the nicest way.

I don’t like mint as a scent note but something about the meeting of vanilla, minty toothpaste and airy whipped cream in Bare Vanilla La Creme is straight up delicious and addicting. Just fyi since this was a limited release- the deep dry down of “Lolitaland” by Lolita Lempicka has a kind of similar minty vanilla thing going on.

This smells like the original but lighter, creamier and a bit minty. So good! Such a nice light cozy scent for the winter and fall, I wouldn’t wear this in warmer weather because it’s too much. The scent lasts about half of the day for me and the bottle has to be the prettiest one out of all of the bare vanillas they make.

I feel like this one is way better than the original. I don't care too much for that one, especially since they discontinued my beloved vanilla lace. This one is so pretty and sweet. It smells of vanilla angel cake, powdered sugar, whipped cream, caramel, and a surprising hint of mint toothpaste that really works, somehow.

like everyone says, it opens up a little minty but omg i loveee this esp when it comes to layering, i use this with choco musk & it smells sooooooo good...very yummy for a layering combo imo. also lasts a decent amount of time for a body mist!!

I agree 100% with the other review - wayy better than the original. It takes away the plastic/Play-doh vanilla and leaves a yummy, light, creamy vanilla. If you want to smell edible, choose this one!

Light, sweet and very pretty. First of all, the packaging is beautiful. The bottle feels nice and the floral presentation is ever so charming. Secondly, the notes are wrong. The bottle states it includes Vanilla Orchid and Spun Sugar. Bare Vanilla La Creme is super sweet and feminine, but for me, borderlines on the screechy artificial vanilla scent we've all smelled before. Y'know ... Car freshener-esque, however the light florals and creamy dry down stop this from being sickly. It becomes a soft, intimate skin scent within minutes, so you'll need to keep the bottle handy to re-spray. I really like this scent, but it's a like, not a love due to it's poor sillage. I think it's cosy and yummy, but I wish there *was* a custard or caramel note to add some warmth and depth. I will use my bottle up, but I wouldn't purchase this again.

lasts about 10 seconds, but it's nice. hated it when i first smelled it for some reason, but when i purchased this i also bought the regular bare vanilla and now i only use this one and not the others. i don't wanna say there's a certain age this is appropriate for so i won't, butttttt it does give teen girl in high school. maybe it's just the fact that it's a body mist. i'm building a perfume rotation/collection now, so i pretty much never use this, BUT if i do start using her again i'll be spraying this in my hair whenever i wear perfumes that have similar notes!

I am a fanatic for the original Bare Vanilla.... but I think this may be better in terms of wearing. This (on me) has a better, moderate longevity and smells less synthetic. This is heavily a milky sweet vanilla with lots and lots of florals. The florals are not heavy or green, but clean and balanced with the sweeter vanilla custard smell. This is light and probably works all year round as a bonus. It’s great for layering with either more vanilla fragrances or more florals, so it’s pretty flexible. A great cheap body mist to start out with.

I’ve never smelled the original, but this version is really minty, which I personally love—it makes the mist fresher and more suitable for warmer weather. I do wish it lasted longer and that the initial spray wasn’t so alcohol-heavy. The lactonic accord in this is a pleasant surprise!

Definitely better than bare vanilla the original 🍦 But it has a minty ( candy cane) notes in it This might give it freshness & doesn't turn sticky sweet in hot weather The lotion doesn't have mint, just vanilla custard & spun sugar ( very creamy & sugary sweet) so yummy💕🍭

If you're looking for a delicious vanilla that isn't too confectionary this one is a nice offering from VS. I like to pair it with OGX Coconut Coffee scrub and body lotion on cold days for a warm latte scent.

The opening is pure mint but then the mint goes away and its a really nice vanilla creamy scent.

No custard in this one. It was totally different from OG Bare vanilla. and there is definitely that minty smell that everyone was talking about. very sweet. mint, sugar, and a little creamy vanilla. Over time, it became the last scent of Rihanna's nude!

Too sweet, blunt moderate strength vanilla smell. May be good for layering but then its a mist! Have a bottle and i rarely use it. May be good for winter and with a cofee note.

it smelt like straight up mint toothpaste, got no vanilla at all

I feel like my skin definitely didn't get along with this one. It's too minty, too strong. I remember getting weird stares from people in class whenever I sprayed it. And the mint smell never goes either.

Has a sort of pink sugar perfume-type scent to it, just lighter and not *as* synthetic. This is fine, it's different enough from the original (I do not like the original). I don't think it smells like eilish, this is warmer than eilish. The longevity of this is awful though. I can spray my skin and spray my clothes down and it's gone within the hour. Take it with a grain of salt cause I ordered a half used bottle of this that didn't come with a cap cause I wanted to smell it lol. Who knows if that affected what I'm smelling.

I blind bought this as I was in a rush, but I am honestly shocked. At the start, the minty scent put me off and I was considering returning it. When you smell it from the nozzle, it smells like pure mint with a hint of vanilla, but when you spray it, the mint mixes in with the vanilla SO well! The longetivity on the other hand, not so well. It lasted for 3 minutes. I’m currently trying to purchase the OG bare vanilla and see how well they go together.

this perfume reminds me of the bottom of my sisters purse. like old brittany spears fantasy and mint gum. i still really love it though and it does have a milky custard smell too.

This flanker is probably my favorite it’s rich creamy and delicious. I do get mint but only for a second, love this
