Bare Vanilla Shimmer

A lovely, sweet, warm, and cozy vanilla! A very comfy fragrance! Definitely a gourmand vanilla! I love the lotion for layering with Bare Vanilla as well as other vanilla gourmand fragrances! One of my favorite VS body mists along with Coconut Passion, Vanilla Lace, Glitter Hustle, Bare Vanilla Frosted, Sunrise Waves, Autumn Shores, and Amber Romance! I typically get great longevity with fragrances (even body mists!) and Bare Vanilla is no exception, it lasts all day on me! The projection is good too, it radiates at least an arm’s length out from me!

The best vanilla scent ever. It would be my signature scent if it was a perfume and if it was long lasting by itself but sadly it only stays for like 4-5 hours by itself so you have to support it with a perfume, I usually prefer Burberry Goddess for that. This is the perfect kind of sweet, sugary vanilla that nothing can compare to it.

warm & sweet, it is such a comforting and intimate scent. the vanilla is not as sugary as the average gourmand vanilla and i think the cashmere adds a bit of elegance to it in a way i absolutely love. weirdly enough the shimmer ver. lasts longer on me and i just think it smells nicer overall. so so good!

Absolutely love it! Even though it’s supposed to be woody and musky it still remains fresh. Vanilla is not overly sweet and goes perfectly with silky smooth cashmere. The body spray blends with your skin and feels very cozy. Such a shame it doesn’t last, but what can you expect from body spray.

I finished my bottle of this today, and I must say I really enjoyed it! The longevity isn't super great, so I'd often re-apply throughout the day, but it also wasn't terrible (think 3-4 hours). It's also a body spray, so at the end of the day I don't expect beastly projection and longevity from it. It really does smell dry and almost skin-like but still has a little creamy sweetness to it. It's certainly not a predominantly sweet fragrance, but is a lovely, versatile, very clean-smelling vanilla. I enjoyed the glitter (it applied evenly and a good amount per spray, and it was very fine so as to not leave chunks on my clothes) - this was great especially for layering in the summer. I would probably repurchase at some point in the future, though, for now, my priority is to use and enjoy what I have. I thoroughly liked this!

This is so yummy, I really love this and the glitter is super cute for summer. It's good for layering with other perfumes, I really like this with Vanilla 28 and Sintra by Memo Paris or just alongside Cheirosa 71. The longevity isn't great but it's a body mist and there's a lot of it in a bottle, plus I got it for £4 in the VS sale so I can't be too mad at that. The projection is pretty good and I just love the VS body spray bottles, reminds me of high school. I will say that this is more of a savoury vanilla on me, if that's even possible? Maybe it's the cashmere note, but it's not sickly and cupcakey but still smells 'tasty.' I really like it and it is a very very safe blind buy, just a simple cosy vanilla that makes your skin look cute and glowy in the sun.

not sure about the mist, but i have the lotion and it perfectly compliments bare vanilla daydream (because they smell almost identical lol). smells different from the og bare vanilla, but in a way that makes it good to layer them both together. for some reason, the lotion has a slight plastic-y smell after a while on my skin? i love the glitter though! ദ്ദി(ᴖᗜᴖ)

it smells really good, don't get me wrong, but it does last a grand total on five minutes to me (as is the case with most VS fragrances i fear). the smell is so warm, homey, and sensual but the pleasure will be gone in the time it takes to brew a cup of coffee.

The scent reminds you of sugar melting on the stove, vanilla yogurt; the sweet bite is unmistakable, fadding into a warm motherly hug. It’s one of the better Victoria Secret's scents (sadly all short lasting) Becoming an “Angel” a fantasy sold by Victoria’s Secret, carries so much potential. If one is going to market the idea of angelic glamour, then every detail should support that narrative. The packaging could resemble a potion vessel; the scent could unfold like an offering to beauty itself. Instead, the presentation feels surface-level; gold caps, glittering accents, visual cues of “luxury” that function more as suggestion than truth. There shouldn’t be a few good Victoria Secret's scents. Choosing one should feel like a battle between masterpieces, each one unforgettable. The bare lotion gives borderline plasticy. The “secret” isn’t interesting at all when it’s low-effort n boring. Could u just give us cute shi Victoria wth ( ; ́꒳`;)

A classic, I just love me a warm, cozy, vanilla. And if it comes with glitter, better. In winter and fall it is such a great layering scent BUT do not wear it on hot days because it turns into the smell of vomit.
