Bare Vanilla Sol

Gorgeous! Man, I wish I had discovered this when they first came out so I could have snagged backups! To me, this is very reminiscent of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid, Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Forte Bosca Vanilla & even a bit like Tease Crème Cloud, minus the marine/aquatic/oceanic note present in all three of those fragrances. That is what I have been looking for! I like all of those scents—sunny, summer vanillas—but could do without the marine accord they all have going on. So happy to have found this! I also agree with what a previous reviewer said about something in this reminding them of Burberry Goddess. To me, that is because the vanilla in this comes across as very similar to the dry-down of BG; it's an absolutely delicious vanilla! In this, however, instead of lavender, it has a solar note, which kind of makes it like a summer version of BG! I hesitate to even describe it as citrus-y past the immediate opening; it's just very sunny & bright! It doesn't really even remind me of OG Bare Vanilla. Bare Vanilla has a tea-like note in it (which I love, especially in the flanker Daydream), but Sol goes in a different direction; they're both great, albeit for different reasons! I was buying some stuff online during this summer's Semi-Annual Sale & needed something else to get free shipping, lol. I went browsing SAS beauty & there was one of these babies left in stock. Honestly, the fact that someone else said it was "fruity" made me almost not even get it, because I generally dislike fruity notes of almost any kind. I got it anyway, and figured I'd just give it away if I didn't like it. But, wow! This turned out to be a gorgeous, sunny, summer vanilla that is not overly fruity nor citrusy nor aquatic; I'm truly in love! Had I known about this sooner, I would have gotten backups of the mist & a lotion too! Haven't seen any in stores. I'm very pleased to have gotten the one that I did, though, and (if, after stalking the website for any returns that pop-up, it just never comes back in-stock) I might have to break down & buy one from a reseller!

this is very similar to bare vanilla splash, but that pulls slightly more coconutty while this has a tiny touch of citrus. i think i like this one better since it's just a teeny bit more versatile, whereas the splash flanker feels like it has more of a pool-ish quality if that makes sense. the white chocolate comparison is spot on! if i could rewrite the notes, i would say vanilla, white chocolate, coconut, solar notes, and a hint of citrus zest. if you're a vanilla lover like me, this is one that you can get away with in the summertime. performance is pretty average for the bare vanilla line, but it's a summer body mist so i don't mind that!

In my opinion, this is the best Bare Vanilla variant. Don’t get me wrong, I LOOOOOVE the original bare vanilla, but this just does it for me. It lasts longer, has bigger silliage and is just such a perfect summer mist. It’s quite citrusy but not enough to overpower the vanilla. It’s super duper yummy and I recommend it to anyone who likes a frutier vanilla.

I absolutely love this. It reminds me of Burberry Goddess honestly I don’t know why. I layer them all the time or just use this when I don’t want to waste my Burberry Goddess. So good. Sexy, sunny, but never too much. Not screechy or sunscreeny. I love it! Hope it comes back for a summer sale.

It's so sweet and juicy omg. I don't usually like fruity fragrances, but this is like pomelo nectar with vanilla. Pomelo is like a sweeter kiwi or mango (don't know how to really describe it but it's sweet). The vanilla is present. I got backups because it's very uplifting

This is hands-down my favorite everyday fragrance. It's perfectly light, bright, and sweet. I would drown myself in it if I could. I only wish they brought it back because I am almost out!

this was a blind buy and frankly I wasn't expecting to be that good! It's not similar to the original but for sure it has something of the DNA. In the beginning I smell something like lemon glaze for cake but after 30 seconds it transforms to a very sweet, chocolate biscuit with a hint of salt and also somehow its giving also a meringue smell. If you like Divine by jean Paul Gautler and also the Eilish fragrances, I think you'll like this one. It's not a dupe though! The performance of this is okay. Not super long lasting, but not lasting for 10min as others. I can still smell it on my clothes after hours and it performs better than on my skin. Also, I would not considered it as a summer fragrance to be honest, so If you still can find it on sale, try it! Update: it last DAYS on clothes!!!

Smells like summer in a bottle. I don't get much from the actual notes listed. It's kind of just a refreshing, beachy, almost sunscreen scent, and you get the vanilla note as it settles, which I think is the only thing making this smell good; without the vanilla, it'd be meh on its own. It smells super nice, nothing too unique though imo... and I have to reapply it every hour. I would ONLY wear this in summer, but I'm on a mission to try all the Bare Vanilla flankers because they're my favorite. :P I will say, though, their beachy scents like this usually smell a bit weird to me, and this line is pretty decent. I have the love spell one from this line as well, and it's pretty unique. Probably the best summer line they've done and good cheap blind buys for me.

Smells almost exactly like Beach Nights by B&BW but with a weird pomelo touch that makes it a bit fresher, like with the intention to wear it during the day instead of night. I definitely prefer Beach Nights, but at least it's nice to have an option available out there since B&BW keeps skipping Beach Nights every year

to me it smells like a slightly less sweet and sandy rio radiance, if you have that one you aren’t missing out on much, but this is definitely better value. both have a slight suncreen vibe

Smells like the watermelon scented eraser bears from the elementary school book fair, but in a good way !!

Sunshine pomelo. Vanilla zest. A sunny spin on Bare Vanilla. The opening smells like a pomelo, not super tart or bright or fresh like one would expect from other citruses such as lemon or bergamot. Then you get that Bare Vanilla DNA lingering in the background that becomes more prominent as the fragrance dries down. Overall, it's not among my favorite Bare Vanilla flankers, but usually the summertime flankers are more misses than hits for me. Like a lot of body mists it stays close to the skin and longevity is just a few hours.

It smells like a hot summer day on the beach—sun-soaked sand and all. Strangely enough, the note that's meant to capture that warm, sandy vibe comes across as white chocolate to my nose. It’s unexpected, but kind of fascinating.

I was intrigued at first but the longer this sits on my skin the more I’m getting petrichor and mildew. I feel very damp and dank.

It's just amazing. Just absolutely amazing.
