Bare Vanilla Starlit

another absolute banger from vs. like fairycoffins said, i think this is very similar to autumn shore with its dry smoky notes, but with the added bare vanilla dna. like autumn shore, it's definitely a unisex scent to me and i wouldn't say it's blind buy safe if you're looking for a more mass-appealing vanilla, but please do give it a sniff if you're in stores. if you're looking for a gourmand, super sweet vanilla, this isn't it, but it is an amazing scent. perfect for a cold night. on clothes, i mostly get the smoky notes, but the vanilla and orchid become very distinct on my skin and make it lean slightly more feminine. it's honestly such a confidence booster for me, it makes me feel so sultry and sexy. plus, the smoky/woody notes give it great longevity!

Take the smoky vanilla from last year’s Autumn Shore, and mix it with the orchid from BV Cashmere, and you get BV Starlit. Absolutely gorgeous scent. Might be a little redundant if you already own the other scents mentioned, but I can never have enough vanillas (especially smoky ones) and this is so dreamy! This should layer beautifully with By The Fireplace, and it would add a bit of darkness to more plain vanillas. Glad I blind bought this.

If you missed out on Bare Vanilla Cashmere, this is definitely your chance to experience it. It's honestly the same minus that patcholi note, plus more of that orchid note. It's really sweet. I might stock up on this one too

Why is this mist listed on the website twice?? 😭 Anyway, I'll add my review to this one as well!! ~ This is VERY soft & faint, but it's nice. Honestly, mostly all I get is the vanilla and orchid. The "smoky" note is basically nonexistent, which surprised me. It does still have that cozy vibe, and it's also not super sweet, so if you dislike the usual super sweet bare vanilla flankers, you'd enjoy this. I actually do enjoy the scent and will use up the whole bottle; it just doesn't stick out enough to me. It's nothing special. I probably wouldn't repurchase. Bare vanilla brulee & bare vanilla cashmere are way better options imo

I do enjoy this perfume on nights out. It's a smokey vanilla that gives off a warm edge. It isn't very sweet nor gourmand. I wouldn't wear this during the day or to an office, but maybe perhaps to a dinner date. It lasts a moderate amount of time, and the scent is pretty intimate. It makes you feel sexy. I think the daytime / spring equivalent would be VS PINK Vanilla dream.

It feels like being wrapped in a soft cloud of vanilla on a cool winter day, with the faint smell of fireplaces burning in the distance. The scent keeps the cozy, sweet Bare Vanilla DNA but adds a gentle smokiness that makes it feel warmer with a more mature feel. It’s warm, soft, and comforting. It is definitely best suited for fall and winter. Casual daytime wear. Although it's a smoky vanilla, it's not quite similar to By the Fireplace, and it doesn’t smell like cigarettes at all. It's more like a soft, airy warmth rather than harsh smoke. I appreciate the added smokiness, and while it gives the fragrance more depth, this particular vanilla just doesn’t fully appeal to me. The longevity is also very poor and this turns to a skin scent rather quickly. Overall, it’s pleasant and cozy, just not special enough for me to repurchase. 5/10 Sillage 4/10 Longevity 3/10

A disgrace to the Bare Vanilla collection :( the body cream smells even worse my god.. the “smoke” note is very much accurate in the worst way possible. Why would you want to smell like rotten cigarettes...? I can’t even go near my mom when she wears this, I always want to gag.

I definitely smell the smoky note in this, which I’m pleasantly surprised by. It blends really well with the cashmere notes in the original Bare Vanilla. It has that soft sandalwood base that I love! It smells like an expensive perfume, yet still accessible. I like the price point I got it at. It’s very strong for a body spray

Very similar to Vanilla Skin (the edp) but a bit sweeter and lighter and not as "cashmere" ofc. I love Vanilla Skin tho so that's great for me! This is a really good BV flanker and layers beautifully with BV lotions or EOS vanilla cashmere

A gorgeous vanilla fragrance, much better than the original in my opinion. You can definitely detect the smoke, but it's very well done! Feminine, subtle, sits close to the skin but lasts long enough for a body mist
