Bare Vanilla Starlit

This is VERY soft & faint, but it's nice. Honestly, mostly all I get is the vanilla and orchid. The "smoky" note is basically nonexistent, which surprised me. It does still have that cozy vibe, and it's also not super sweet, so if you dislike the usual super sweet bare vanilla flankers, you'd enjoy this. I actually do enjoy the scent and will use up the whole bottle; it just doesn't stick out enough to me. It's nothing special. I probably wouldn't repurchase. Bare vanilla brulee & bare vanilla cashmere are way better options imo

Bare Vanilla Starlit is interesting. It is a dark, dirty take on Bare Vanilla. The sweetness is toned down, and it has a smokiness that pulls slightly salty/savory. It is nice for an autumn vanilla, and I'm always glad when VS ventures into darker scents. It lasted 6ish hours. The entire Starlit collection only offers a subtle twist on the original versions. None of them are terribly different. The bottles are very beautiful though.

This is a good one if you love woody vanillas, it's like a much lighter on the cardamom Vanilla Romance or much less smokey and less woody + complex Commodity Milk (expressive) or Vanilla skin. I think anyone that enjoys these and the BV DNA will like this. So far I like it but Luxe and og are still my #1s in the BV flanker line up.

It feels like being wrapped in a soft cloud of vanilla on a cool winter day, with the faint smell of fireplaces burning in the distance. The scent keeps the cozy, sweet Bare Vanilla DNA but adds a gentle smokiness that makes it feel warmer with a more mature feel. It’s warm, soft, and comforting. It is definitely best suited for fall and winter. Casual daytime wear. Although it's a smoky vanilla, it's not quite similar to By the Fireplace, and it doesn’t smell like cigarettes at all. It's more like a soft, airy warmth rather than harsh smoke. I appreciate the added smokiness, and while it gives the fragrance more depth, this particular vanilla just doesn’t fully appeal to me. The longevity is also very poor and this turns to a skin scent rather quickly. Overall, it’s pleasant and cozy, just not special enough for me to repurchase. 5/10 Sillage 4/10 Longevity 3/10

I picked up a lotion in this scent at VS semi-annual sale this week. The Starlit version of Bare Vanilla is nice- the lotion is a great layering scent for other vanilla perfumes IMO (is this scent in the database twice here?). It's a rich vanilla scent, but also it is not overpowering either. The description on the lotion says a smokey vanilla and midnight orchid take on Bare Vanilla. I'm pretty happy with the scent of this one, though I don't think I would seek out the other products in Starlit (simply because I have a lot of vanilla perfumes already). But overall, it's a nice, somewhat simple vanilla, that's not overly sugary or burnt smelling like other vanillas in the past 10 years that have been put on the market.

imo this smells exactly like warm vanilla sugar from b&bw & i had to return it because ive had my fair share of that scent, i dont hate that scent & im sure alot of people dont but ive just gotten sick of it over time, it smells like a better or more expensive version though but it smells alot like it which i didnt expect because i dont smell that at all in regular bare vanilla or in any of the other ones.
