classic middle school ruby faye scent..... seriously though: the longevity is unmatched. I wore this to ballet class every day when I still danced. one day, in the heat of Texas summer, after I had been dancing literally all day like it was my full time job, I was in partnering class, being lifted and thrown around by weak ass little boys. unexpectedly, one of them complimented me, saying I smelled great, and people ran over to come smell me. highlight of my year. I don't know if I actually smelled good or I just smelled 5% less sweaty than everyone else, but it gave me enough confidence to finish out the class with a smile. so if you aren't smelling it after a few minutes, its probably nose blindness , because I promise other people are smelling you. it also stayed on my clothes (and the boys sweatshirts I sprayed it onto... middle school) for at least the next day. anyway.... it's classic vanilla. unoffensive, normie smell. hard to hate it. smells like rich middle school mean girl aka who I wanted to be at the time. though I keep circling back to middle school, I can picture this scent working for most other ages, especially in an office setting. kind of smells like bananas though

Now this was my second body mist from VS which made me collect VS and B&Bw body mists, I currently have about 30ish body sprays and this is the one scent I will keep buying and buying regardless of how many other fragrances I have. I am currently switching over to designer perfumes and a lot of my body sprays are basically abandoned by me. But not bare vanilla. It is the best vanilla scent that I have and ever smelled , also it performs better than most body mists. It got me so many compliments from so many people too. It just smells like how a PROPER vanilla scent should smell like. No unnecessary fruits or florals (which it usually is nice to add florals in vanilla but sometimes I just want warm sweet vanilla without anything to change the theme of sweetness) it smells so warm and sweet yet not overly sugary. Honestly they would've made insane amounts of money if they released a perfume version of this scent that performed like one too. while writing this whole paragraph I kept smelling this scent and honestly they COOKED with this fragrance. insane.

I have always been a mega fan of vanilla. Whether it's cinnamon-vanilla, floral-vanilla, or just a simple vanilla, I'll most likely enjoy it. But this body mist... INCREDIBLE. Sweet, but in an edible kind of way. Literally. Deep and gourmand, but still playful and cozy. One of the few warm vanillas I'd feel confident wearing in summer. Not only have I had people asking if there's cupcakes or Oreos in the room, but my crush has sniffed the air around me and told me I smelled like cake and lemonade. Multiple times a day. For 3 days in a row. Gets lots of compliments from both genders. I've had this for about 5 months, I use it daily, and I can still smell it on my clothes and skin hours after applying. So if you were wondering if this scent has good sillage, the answer is yes. Only critique is that I can occasionally (and I mean very occasionally) smell a little bit of rubbing alcohol right after I spray, but it disappears within seconds. Overall one of my favourite scents that I'll be repurchasing. Can't wait to try more flankers!

this has been my favourite perfume/body mist since a little earlier than middle school, when i was like ten. been almost six years. i don't really remember buying it, somehow, but i remember loving it the second i smelt it. i've been wearing it almost daily since then, even if i have nowhere to go. simple, sweet, warm, comforting. makes me feel edible, and smell edible , not self-proclaimed. not cloying, at least for me, even in summers (but winters/cold weather brings it out the best) sillage and longevity could be better, but it still sticks to ur skin even hours later even if u dont reapply, just the projection dies down. i dont think i could ever do without this perfume. its all i wear. great for layering too !! literally so pretty and yummy. i wanna inject this into my veins or get scientifically modified to always exude this exact smell all the time. love vanilla

I LOVE this vanilla! I remember the first time I smelled Bare Vanilla was years ago because it was my roommate's favourite scent, and it was honestly the catalyst for my interest in perfume (even though it's a mist, I know!). I get headaches from perfumes really easily, but I genuinely could not get enough of it! I was really shy and only starting to get close to my roomie but I got up the courage to ask her what she was using and she generously let me borrow it for the rest of the year until I bought my own bottle :') The smell lingers on my clothes for a while, and I get so so many compliments when I pair it with Lush's Supermilk hair primer. I love wearing this everywhere (even bedtime), and I know I don't have to worry about offending anyone's nose since it's a mist & it's a beautiful and light scent even if I do overspray it.

was the biggest vanilla hater until i got THIS, now im all over it trying to find a stronger perfume that smells as good as bare vanilla its genuinely one of THE best things ive ever smelled. sweet, creamy, pure vanilla. some comments mentioned longevity not being good enough and i have to say that this is what to expect from a body mist. but i also dont really get it? im wearing a sweater that i sprayed BV on like almost a week ago and i can STILL smell it (w/o respraying too!)!! i also spray a bit on my hair, and it smells so strongly of vanilla until i wash it!!! begging VS to make a perfume of this, id love something that is a bit stronger and better projection wise. anyways i love bare vanilla, everybody needs to smell this at least once in their lives

I'm glad I took a chance on this after being disappointed with how weak the new Vanilla Lace is. Bare Vanilla is a wonderful creamy vanilla rounded out with a little bit of woodiness, fresh VS DNA, and a powderyness akin to cocoa, but just a *hint* of each to make this a pretty and feminine scent you can wear easily without it feeling like straight up vanilla extract. (But don't worry, it's still like 80% pure vanilla scent). I still prefer the smell of Vanilla Lace. That one is a little less sweet and a bit more "mature" with its musky and somewhat smoky qualities. Update: I bought the Bare Vanilla lotion and it smells a little different than the mist but still very good. It has a slightly warm spicy undertone and reminds me of gingerbread or a chai latte.

A loooove. This is the yummiest, most gorgeous photorealistic gourmand I've smelled! It smells just like the Famous Amos store, with hot and gooey chocolate chip cookies, melty s'mores and chocolates. The sweetness is best compared to the sugary scent of the lucky charms cereal and smells nothing like warm vanilla sugar by bbw. The opening is a bit sharp, with a slight cinnamon roll scent which I do not mind, and eventually smoothes out into a warm cocoabutter-ish cookie scent. A friend used this once and I didn't even think it was a perfume, I literally thought that someone was eating cookies, nutella or marshmallows around me. The overall vibe is the warm amber-coloured autumn aesthetic from the 2000s. The best vanilla perfume in my opinion!

As someone who loves vanilla scents, I was genuinely excited to try Bare Vanilla. But on first spray, I was actually disappointed, it didn’t come across as vanilla to me at all. I set it aside for quite a while and was even relieved I hadn’t purchased a full-size bottle. Sometime later, while decluttering, I decided to give it another chance. This time, I sprayed it all over and layered it with another fragrance, and the result was unexpectedly beautiful. It smelled amazing and blended seamlessly with my skin. That moment made me regret not buying a full size sooner and not testing it properly the first time. It eventually became my signature scent, and thankfully, it’s part of a regular release rather than a limited edition

Perfect cozy vanilla scent - it's like freshly baked vanilla cupcakes, my mum says she smells christmasy cookies each morning when she uses bathroom if I was getting ready there before she woke up. It's not overly sweet or cloying, I feel it can be worn all year round and it got me more compliments than any perfume I own. I like to layer it with Bare Sueded Vanilla EDP also from VS - Perfect combination of vanilla and spice. For a body mist it has a very good projection and last very long, especially on clothes. It will always have a place on my perfume cupboard, I use it whenever I just want to smell good without overthinking it - 100/10 🩷

This is a simple yet sexy, warm, cashmere, musky vanilla scent. This one’s a fan favourite since it’s basic yet elegant and delicious smelling at the same time. It smells like walking into a bakery that sells cake and sweet pastries. I’ve had many people say I smell like either cookies, cake, or chocolate whilst wearing bare vanilla. It’s my second favourite Victoria secret spray, again, another go to, as I feel I can’t go wrong with this spray and it’s a safe one to use, as it’s a crowd pleaser. It’s extremely versatile in which you can layer with many other scents (I like to layer it with vanilla 28).

the way I would die if this got discontinued! I wore this everyday for six months and now the little bit left is like gooooold to me, need to justify buying two bottles next time. It stays pretty close to the skin (duh its body mist) but lasts soooo long. Im definitely guilty of spraying this on my clothes and bedding so I can smell it longer. also, smells way more expensive than any other body mist I've ever smelled. only bad thing is its really basic so you have to layer it, but really anything layers well so its not a big deal. my friends all take this from my bag to freshen up. 10/10

Wanna eat this body mist! Not gonna lie I wear this everyday at home, just pulling on my favourite soft sweater and spritzing it all over myself. It boosts up my mood so much and it is such a nice, softly warm and cozy smell. It doesn't appear cloying to me like some say, the only problem are the initial alcohol notes but they go away very quickly. It holds for a long time on my sweaters before washings, the dry-down is very cute and soft. Smells like delicious vanilla pastry, literally wanna drink it up sometimes ngl. My top 2 favourite Victoria's secret perfume after Velvet Petals!!🌸🌸

Love this!! I’m not sure how to explain it but it smells very full, while I usually tend to use more light airy body mists but I’m absolutely in love with this one! I got the shimmer version so my skin sparkles subtly! Shimmer goes off easily if you need it to so it’s great. Smells very sweet in a good way, although I don’t smell it on myself anymore after ~30 mins, not sure about others since I just started using this and haven’t asked anyone about it yet. Price is great, usually around 20€, I got it together as a deal with the body lotion and paid 27€ for both together 🩷

this literally smells like straight up warm chocolate cookies you just took out of the oven! it is so warm and comforting for bedtime and wears so well with other fragrances to sweeten them up!! This lasts super well on clothing and about 3/4 hours on my skin. I instantly thought of vanilla skin when I first smelled this but vanilla skin has a lot more depth and woodiness I'd say, while this has a more cookie/chocolate scent. this pairs so well with choco musk, which honestly smells very similar to bare vanilla imo. suuuuch a yummy scent I can't stop reapplying!!

After Vanilla Lace was discontinued I wanted to find another Victorias Secret Vanilla spray that I loved just as much. This is definitely a LOVE for me. It’s nothing like Vanilla Lace just to preface BUT its the most incredible soft vanilla that has such a warm cosy undertone to it, there really isn’t another body mist like this and I always find myself coming back to it. I tend to wear this during the winter time, as I much prefer cosy-vanilla scents in the colder months, but you could wear this all year around as it’s not too cloying or sickly in the heat.

The best vanilla body mist to ever exist. Absolutely nothing comes close and a classic for a reason. Also, the longevity is honestly damn good for a body spray!!!.. on me that is. Idk about y’all but I can smell it for hours and hours, and the body cream lasts all day too. Pair them together and you’re set for life. Also x2, funny that only two notes are listed, but to me this smells like warm vanilla with some faint hint of... marshmallows and caramel on the side? It’s a rich, sugary yet toasted vanilla, not a straightforward/simple scent.

My signature scent for fall and winter. I'm already sad about summer and am excited for fall solely because of this scent. It's simple, it's comforting, it's warm. It's a warm sweater and a warm and sweet beverage. It's sweet but not nauseatingly so. It can turn kind of weird in the heat though, and it doesn't wear well on clothes. When I spray it directly on my clothes they smell awful the next day. Definitely something you spray before you put them on. The first spray also smells very much like pure alcohol, but it goes away very quickly

My girlfriend sprayed a very sweetly-presented letter she sent to me once with this, and I couldn't stop thinking about what a cuddly fragrance it is. She had never worn it prior, so my conclusion does not derive from bias. I have never, so instantly been captivated my a fragrance, emotionally, so compelled to take action, that action being cuddle up to my girlfriend by a crackling fireplace, beneath pink and white blankets. In plain language, it is extremely feminine, gourmand-y. Lovely, lovely, fragranfe.
