Bombshell Celebration

I own quite a few Victoria's Secret scents, but this is only my second Bombshell fragrance. I could never really get on board with the original Bombshell and the many flankers to follow, except Bombshell Gold, which is one of a kind. Upon first spray, I get a rich blend of Champagne and Peony. There's a mild sweetness to this fragrance, despite there being no sweet notes in this composition. As this settles, i can detect that original Bombshell DNA. It's very subtle, but still noticeable. The mildly sweet champagne remains prominent as it's accompanied by a soft woody accord. I'm unfamiliar with Spruce to identify what role it played in this composition. Either way, job well done. In the dry down, before it completely fades, I'm left with soft woods and sweet Champagne. Bombshell Celebration gave an impressive performance of 6 and a half hours of longevity on my skin and 9+ hours on fabric. The sillage is very moderate, as it radiates 3+ feet with 4-5 sprays in the first 3 hours of wear. Afterwards, it sits closer to the skin. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this fragrance and i recommend stopping by your local Victoria's Secret to give this a sniff before it becomes unavailable. Scent: 9/10 Packaging: 8/10 Performance: 7.5/10

I was a little apprehensive at first to purchase it because of the rosé champagne note, was afraid it was gonna smell like BBW Pure Wonder. Im happy to say they are different! It's a fresh scent, thats not aquatic. It opens with the boozy fruits, but it softens into a soft, cozy sandalwood, the spruce note keeps it fresh and the snowkissed peony balances out the spruce and keeps it feminine. It does waft off you, leaving a scent trail, but it won't permeate the room. Longevity is weak to moderate depending on your routine (using lotion, oils, balms prior to application). Its very pretty, its sexy enough to be a night out scent, but also pretty easygoing for daytime. I used BBW Happy Vibes lotion and this perfume as a layering combo and it smells amazing!! With that pairing, would prob be ok to use for summer months. My only regret is that I wish that i had bought a 3.4 oz bottle instead.

I want to like VS perfumes and sprays because it's so pretty and seems so feminine, but typically they are too fruity or too vanilla for my tastes. This could easily be a new Parfums de Marly, or Jimmy Choo, release. It stays soft and cozy, cashmeran? The opening has some fruit that isn't a sharp berry, but instead more juicy pear-like. That fades into a sweet floral. Not vanilla or boozy sweet. Just this soft feminine floral that is addictive. Also, I get more of an Amyris(my only experience is with Maison Francis Kirkdjian's Amyris Extrait, divine!) than a peony. This wouldn't be out of place for any age group. And it would be perfect for all seasons. I'm blown away.

I really enjoy this so far, purchased it a few days ago after sniffing in-store. Bought for a great price as well! I have to say, it isn't very fizzy from the champagne, I only get that note in the beginning but it doesn't stick around long. What I get most is a woody peony, but with sweetness that's not overwhelming. It gives off a vey cozy vibe, and is a scent that you need to be a bit closer to smell. I sprayed this morning at 8am, and it is currently 1:30 and it is still there, but it's a skin scent. I find this beautiful for daytime and is inoffensive enough to wear to the office. It's a shame that is is a limited edition, the bottle is beautiful!

I love it. This is the first limited edition fragrance I’ve gotten from VS, but out of all of their fragrances, this one is my absolute favorite. I bought 2 bottles as well as the lotion. It’s creamy, soft, and inviting. The champagne, peony and wood are in perfect balance with one another. The sillage is fair to moderate, and I feel I can get up to 4-5 hours of longevity out of it. It’s pretty feminine, and not too juvenile. Nor is it too sweet. I’m absolutely in love. With this being said, if anyone purchases this and finds a stable dupe I can invest in... PLEASE let me know!!!!!!

I was very skeptical about getting this fragrance because ive never had any perfume like it before and it was a blind buy. Im unbearably picky about fragrances unfortunately but i can wholeheartedly say i love this one. It smells quite sweet but the sweetness smells natural and not sugary. Initially you can smell the ‘fizzyness’ of the champagne but that dies down a bit and the peony really pulls through. The undertones are woodsy but the spruce is noticeable. The peony in it can almost be mistaken for a light strawberry/raspberry scent.

I absolutely love this scent. Got the spray as a gift and had to blind buy the perfume. They are very similar but j can't say identical? But I love both. This lingers and I could smell myself all day with just a few sprays. I'd test it first as VS scents tend to usually smell the same to me and all have a Woody note somewhere... but this one has something different. It also pairs well with Tease Creme by VS. It is being discontinued as of 2/2022 I believe so I would grab it if you really want it.

I love the dry down of this on clothes. It is less musky and more sweet and a beautiful champagne fragrance. Very classy and feminine. Not old at all yet not the original juvenile Bombshell DNA. It reminded me of something when on the dru down for skin and I finally figured out it smells exaclty like Dahlia from bath and body works. The woods and musk from that perfume is identical to this one. Very beautiful and enjoying it so far

Celebration is so unique. It lasts forever. Perfectly balanced. Not too much of anything. Projects beautifully. Bottle is to die for. You get that fruitiness but it's woody. It reminds me of the holidays. It's absolutely beautiful. Hands down the best bombshell flanker. You smell elegant, sophisticated, youthful yet serious yet Playful all at the same time. It's absolutely a masterpiece. Can be worn any season day or night.

I loved it, it has the dna of og bombshell but with less sweetness and more freshness may be because of champagne or peony that is making it fresh, i love it more than og bombshell it's very light woody and it's kind of ambry woody likhe it doesn't have amber but it has the sweetness and woodiness but in a very very little amount or may be my nose felt it but it does have and i loved it

I just got this and I love it! I’m wearing it layered with Kirke Tiziana Terenzi and it’s gorgeous, I saw someone below mention that they love it combined with Jimmy Choo I Want Choo and they’re both pretty similar (sweet, peach frags). If you have either—or any other perfume you think is similar in notes—I’d definitely recommend trying it layered! It is *chefs kiss*

This is so good, OMG. I fell in love with it from the moment I smelled the card sample, I had to go to the store to actually smell the real perfume. I fell for it instantly. It is fizzy on the opening, just like champagne. It does smell like it with a little bit of sweetness. It is fresh, and it is the kind of perfume that puts a smile on my face.

I could really smell every single note in this fragrance!! The top & middle notes are so beautiful, but honey, that dry down is so nice - it wraps everything up in a nice little bow!!! It does have that original bombshell-esque (I think it’s the peony) smell that kinda lingers in the background. I’d definitely recommend this one!!

This is the best Bombshell holiday flanker I’ve ever come across. It was so good it sold out almost entirely before Black Friday the year it was released. I wish this was part of the flanker collection VS has year round. It’s so sweet and fresh, like a floral champagne.

this is everything i want in a fragrance. it's fresh, sweet, and a bit sexy! i love the floral and woody notes. i honestly regret not stocking up on this perfume. they need to bring this back and not make it limited.

I love this! Reminds me of a little less intense version of Rolling in Love. Perfect for daytime wear or out on a cute date. It doesn't really scream seductive but is pleasant and very feminine.

This scent is definitely a crowd pleaser. The champagne note with the peony and woody notes are so pleasant. The fizziness of the champagne gives it that highly feminine day time scent.

Wow this is really beautiful, one of my favorites now , back up bottle worthy as it is LE , grabbing the lotion toatch this sweet bubbly rose scent , it tickles your nose a tad

I wasn't expecting to just LOVE this! Smells amazing and different than most Bombshells. Staying power is amazing on me. I would recommend giving it a try.

I got this bottle for about 34 bucks. The bottle was gorgeous, and the scent was amazing – I was so hyped, I almost floated away! It's so sweet and juicy!

This is a unique scent , I love it. Realy feminine, beautiful and sparkling. A every day scent and nice for layering. The notes are well blended.

When I first smelled this, I initially didn't like it, but after spraying it on my skin I fell in love with the scent and ended up buying the full size bottle (and I got more for Christmas). I even received a compliment from a stranger on what I was wearing, and that rarely happens to me! It definitely has a sweet bubbliness to it from that champagne note that lasts forever. Bombshell Celebration is very linear in that it smells the same from start to finish, so what you smell is what you get. After owning this for awhile and having tried several other fragrances since then, I've realized this smells identical to the dry down of YSL Libre edp on my skin. The openings are completely different, but once they've settled they have a nearly identical smell. So if you own this (or if you can find it on sale somewhere), it's a great alternative if you love the drydown of Libre. Surprised not a lot of others have noticed that as well. Smells nothing like CH Good Girl to me - I own that one as well and I don't smell any major similarities between the two (potentially the inhaler smell I get from GG, but in Celebration I don't smell it nearly as much). Overall, really like this one! Longevity and projection is pretty good as well. It's not a major fave like it was initially, but still one I enjoy using.

Sometimes I’m into it, sometimes I’m not. It is VERY heavy on the woods and spruce. The opening is quite fizzy from the champagne and there is a sort of muted sweetness that hangs steady throughout while it dries and warms up to the skin. There is something that clashes in this, though. Like two notes that are competing with each other to try and see who can stand out more. If I use one, maybe two sprays of this then I can tolerate it but anything more and it becomes headache inducing (and this is coming from someone who is not easily bothered by perfume). UPDATE: I didn’t touch my bottle of this for 2 years & decided to give it a spray today. I actually really like it now. It’s become much sweeter with time & not as harsh as I remember. The weather is also warmer now in comparison to the last I tried to use it so maybe that’s helping also. The spruce has calmed down a lot & I just get a soft sweet woodiness with a bit of floral.

This seems to have notes not listed. There’s a creamy sweetness to it that I don’t think comes from the woods, maybe it is the peony but to me it’s a whipped cream/almond note. This reminds me of Paris Amour from BBW which I used to love. Very good fall/winter scent but sort of weak on my skin so it’s best to spray on clothes/layer with the lotions.

the fizziness of the champagne note is everything. fresh, feminine, with a hint of sweetness- i feel like everyone would like this one.

Beautiful! Woody floral, sophisticated, fresh. Smells more expensive than it is. The only VS perfume that ever wowed me.

woodsy winter scent, sparkly without being too strong a simple, inoffensive pick, i like her

I bought a rollerball today. The packaging for the bottle is so beautiful! I want a small bottle just to collect. Alas, Bombshell Celebration is a little too sweet for my tastes. I love the opening - it really does smell like rose’ champagne. Then it turns extremely sweet with chemistry. I would love more woods and maybe other’s skin will pull that direction more but on me - it’s too much. The dry down reminds me of La Vie Est Belle minus the stinky patchouli but again it’s missing something to balance it out. It also reminds me of Bath and Body Works Snowflakes and Cashmere. I wish that initial sparkle lasted as well to help balance. Some will looooove it because of it’s sweetness. Longevity is outstanding - it projected from my hand for hours even after I washed it off soon after applying. BTW not a remake of any other VS perfume. This is truly new. Edit: I tried it once more but a much smaller amount. It’s much better if applied lightly. Getting a small bottle!

I have this perfume and was upset to find this perfume bitter on my skin chemistry, it was very unappealing to smell. Now im thinking of selling it to my friends or keep it because it's a limited edition and the bottle is sick. (this perfume was a blind buy and I regret buying it) smells real great on a sheet of paper though.

Testing this one at the moment and wow it changes quick! The first spray smells like a girlier YSL Libre, which really surprised me to smell. Then sort of hand sanitiser? Maybe that’s what the alcohol reminded me of. Sweet soapy flowery oxidised-smelling, a little of that bombshell peony in the background but just barely as compared to all the peony-forward flankers they release. Also reminds me of, though not the same, as Vera Wang Preppy Princess vibe and also Viva la juicy a flanker. Again, doesn’t smell like them but the vibe, it is a similar type of smell. Sort of the best nondescript generic girly perfume. Surprisingly it sits very close to the skin. Long lasting but doesn’t project much. Ok tried it again and this time i get sweet burberry her - viva la juicy and then laundry detergent? To be fair it’s a 5 year old bottle. I’m so confused with this one now. It dries down to a woody viva la juicy flanker.

I have been wearing this on and off for about a month. I keep going back and reading reviews because I expect to smell something other than the spruce and champagne. 🌲🍾 I get a hint of woodyness, but mainly spruce and champagne. This reminds me of a men's deodorant... I can't put my finger on the brand or scent, but it's totally that sporty spruce vibe! I'm going to let this one age a bit and check on it in a few months. Maybe in the summer I'll get hints of the other notes. I like it, but I agree with the others stating it's over priced if you're buying from resellers. Edit- I just wanted to add. I sprayed Jimmy Choo I Want Choo on top of this, crook of my arm on a sweater. They smell so lovely together! 😍 I think I'll call this creation Celebrate Choo or I Want a Celebration. 🤣

I'll be back with a review... :) RECEIVED: Hmmmm...mixed feelings about this. It's "okay" but not what I was expecting. I only tried it once so I'll give it a few more chances. Usually I'm hooked on a great scent right away but this one might take some patience. Be back in a few weeks!

8/10. Une odeur tellement fraîche, élégante, jeune et féminine ! C’est clairement une réussite pour une marque qui se veut habituellement plus générique et moins haute gamme. Je ne suis pas du tout du style parfum doux et frais, mais celui là ! C’est un parfum qui a quelque chose de voluptueux sans être tapageur ou vulgaire : fourrure, soie, neige, or.... Beaucoup d’élégance et de pureté en somme dans cette odeur, je trouve qu’elle a aussi quelque chose pétillant, ce doit être le champagne. Elle est élégante et froide mais pour autant non dépourvue de cette touche de pep’s, c’est ce que je trouve intéressant dans ce parfum. C’est une odeur de jour ou pour les occasions moyennes.

This is the Christmas holiday in a feminine fragrance! It's fresh, rosie, very very champagne like, I think about Strawberries & Champagne when I smell this..ya know...the old lotion and mist VS made in the 90s, and the spruce in this gives this a fresh and herbal nuance. And somehow all of this together I imagine I'm wearing a cute little dress with sequins and standing in front of the Christmas tree at a holiday party! I love this. Men heavily compliment this! One co-worker wrote it down and said he was getting it for his wife. I think this is my second review on this. I'm wearing it to bed tonight is why I wanted to write about it. It's so gorgeous.

Best flanker of bombshell by far! Bombshell Gold was the top of my list in its buttery sugary way but once I smelled this, this tops the cake! Bubbly, warm and fizzy. Smells of raspberry’s and champagne. I feel like this would be worn by Cinderella. If that was the case, it’s not the missing shoe that made the prince search for her. In all seriousness, this makes me happy when I spray it on. I feel feminine and sweet. It lasts very long on the skin & on clothes. This is a man eater but in a submissive, doll eyed way. If you want a man to feel protective and dominant over you by instinct, wear this.

Just a little review to share that I think Victoria's Secret Bombshell Celebration actually is a very close dupe to Dolly Parton's SMOKEY MOUNTAIN perfume! Bombshell Celebration also reminds me a little bit of BLACK OPIUM as well as DOLCE & GABBANA The Only One. Bombshell Celebration has a rich boozy gourmand caramel quality to it and the projection and sillage are quite strong.

Smells like bath and body Pure Womder mixed with Cloud by Ariana Grande. Doesn’t smell exactly like either one though it leans more towards Pure Wonder with cloud as that undertone weird freshy scent. I almost hate this smell. On its own it’s hyper sweet almost strawberries on my skin. I layer with a drop of jovan musk oil. It turns dreamy and more complex

This reminds me so much of Rihanna’s Nude fragrance. It’s very pretty. Definitely a standard, pretty, fruity floral. I was expecting a more Christmas / winter vibe, but this is beautiful. Victoria’s Secret always does a great job with feminine, pretty fragrances. If you like Rihanna Nude, you will really like this.

This is a beautiful light sweet scent, perfect for everyday & I personally think it's a safe blind buy because it's not the most unique. But having one perfume like this in your collection is good to have just to wear whenever. It's my first VS perfume and I do like it more than I thought I would.

It’s a sweeter repackage of VS Scandalous. So many other fragrances just like this. Not worth reseller greed of $100 It has the same Powdery makeup scent that scandalous had. If you liked scandalous (retired) and want something like it go Vera Wang Princess. This is too sweet. Nauseating

Very sweet fun fruity floral scent , suitable for teenagers & younger generation, or any age group, if you will, to me the woody notes not prominent at all, the scent remind me of other perfumes, Crush by Rihanna and Moonlight by Ariana Grande 💓

This one is a no for me, it's too sweet on my skin. It reminds me of Bath and Body Works Midnight Peony. I might try again when it's colder but the sandalwood is what I'm smelling the most. I'm sure this is great for some but just not for me.

There is something about this that is so good! This is one of the best bombshell flankers next to Bombshell Gold and Bombshell Escape. It has a sweet and sexy side too it. They need to bring this back.

This is very pretty! It's very crisp and floral on me, with distinct fizziness from the champagne. I can't detect any citrus in this.

This looks and sounds lovely. I really like Champagne scents. I have a rollerball on the way. When I get it I will review.

For the price this fragrance is gorgeous! Well made. Has moderate longevity. Pleasure to wear.
