Bombshell Eau de Parfum

VS Bombshell starts out fruity for me with the passionfruit being the top note. A sweet, bright and cheery scent. Then it transforms into what it stays like on me.. the middle is verrry soapy and clean on me like a shampoo and base is quite woody. Reminds me very much of VS Tease Please in the aqua and pink stripe bottle from five years ago that I loved, with a passionfruit top note. Lasts about 6 hours on me with a moderate throw. I'm addicted to this scent, smelled it on a coworker and bought it within the week. However.. I have received zero compliments on this.. But I love this one so much I don't care :)

I just want to bathe in it with the weather close to 40 degrees in Vietnam. So fresh, light, cute, jovial, lift up, youthful. The passionfruit sweetness overload ~

It's similar to EDT, but it has more citrus and better longevity. Nice, summery, fresh.

I wore Bombshell EDP today and I wore it on my skin and clothing. Wearing it on clothing the scent can last up to six hours, but it burns off my skin so quickly. About three hours after I applied the fragrance to my shirt and bra I started to smell cantaloupe or melon smell. I know that melon isn't part of the notes, but I think as it wore off during the day the pine in the dry down became blended with the lingering scent of fruit and peony...hence the melon smell. It wasn't a bad scent, but it was a surprising twist. I probably won't repurchase Bombshell. The scent is basic and not so interesting to make me want to spend the money again.

Smells like some cheap shampoo

They should have a perfume by VS called "Buried in Bombshells" because there are TOO MANY OF THEM. I bought Bombshell because i read somewhere that it is a pleasant way to keep mosquitos away. So I looked up "VS Bombshell" and became overwhelmed. A trip to Walgreen's remedied that. They have a knockoff of the original Bombshell that did the job. I later bought the original and sure enough, it was the same scent in every way! Fruity/citrusy in a grapefruit kind of way with soft florals. The Bomshell I am writing the review on here is NOT the original - it is the "eau de perfume" version. Why do they not have the same notes - ? - I don't know. This one has a top note I hate but it fades fast thank goodness. It's like a green that has gone over - a bit metallic. Then it all simmers down to a scent that is almost like the original. They both (both genuine bombshells) do repell mosquitos just like the knockoff! Unfortunately, the staying power just isn't there. The original and the knockoff are equal in that neither lasts very long. I have to repeat spray every two hours and the next day there is no hint of bombshell whatsoever. Most perfume houses in the last 20 years got smart and made it so we spray our dollars away on some beautiful scents. I rather lean towards houses like Guerlain, Tom Ford, Estee Lauder, Ralph Lauren and Clinique because they dont spay away to nothing! I also am into vintage musks and civets. I want to smell my fragrance without having to buy it by the bucket! Oddly enough, when I was a teen, I was noseblind to any musk unless it was mixed with a drop of Patchouli! Patchouli is the original when I think of staying power. I have a 20 year old coat that STILL smells like Patchouli! To make your scents last - put unscented oil (i use unscented coconut oil) on your skin after a shower and then layer your scent over that. Using powder in the same fragrance is nice - and a body lotion in the scent of your choice helps immensly (layering). It helps. I use the unscented oil because scented creams make me itch! After all is said and done, I do like this Bombshell perfume. If I let myself think about all the other versions of bombshell I will go broke trying to aquire them all! It's bad enough I am now crazed about anything by Guerlain that has vanilla in it! I swim in Guerlain vanilla as I write this. It's heavenly. And it DOESN'T repel mosqitos....damn it!

This is really nice! I know it's just another Victoria Secret perfume but I love it. It smells like shampoo which is a good kind of smell to have on you anytime anywhere always. This is a fruity fresh and sweet pairing of fruits & flowers with a dry down of light pine tree & perhaps some green notes. It starts off as a fresh citrus scent, like orange juice, then turns floral with peony and orchid. Not heavily floral but sweetly floral & soapy, almost like you're lathering & applying floral scented body lotion. There is more peony than orchid but both are detectable. This is also really more fruity than floral as on me the most dominant note is passion fruit. Smells tropical & almost like a kind of mango or pineapple smoothie! The deliciousness of the top & middle notes are completely different from the base note of pine. However it's a chemical note that smells like a light sort of woodsy note and a bit like a Christmas tree or rather putting your nose on a faux Xmas tree, with a light kind of herbal texture (fake herbal). It's not easy to explain but it smells so good! The bottle is pink and the liquid is pink and can evoke a big pink rose or orchid which I like. Very feminine. By the way guys this makes a great Christmas present for your girl This is a good gift to receive any time of year! A loveable & pretty sweet fragrance

Is this the same fragrance as the first Bombshell, or another one of VS's lame attempts to pass a cheapened version off as the same? I'm actually really curious. (They did that b.s. with Heavenly. I've been buying the older bottles like a madwoman before they are gone forever... I think I have around ten bottles now...) I really wish they would put less into marketing and more into the actual quality of their EDPs nowadays. Their newest fragrances have zero longevity, reek of alcohol. When the fanfare dies down, they are tweaked before being recycled into new bottles, and/or under new names. I'm not a fan of the hideously large black bow. It makes the bottle look like Dracula! The thin, wispy ribbon bow was perfect. Why do they do this?!

I love this scent. to me when I use this perfume, what designer brand comes to mind is Miss Dior Blooming bouquet. why is no one talking about it. or its just me. My husband loves this scent on me

refreshing! sweet and youthful. almost identical to the original in my opinion just a bit more intense in the sense that lasts a bit longer

it's the same formula just a special edition bottle lol, you can still purchase the original bottle on the website as well
