Bombshell Gold

INSTANT LOVE! This smells nothing like I have sampled or owned, which is probably why I adore it so! It smells amazing from the first moment you spritz it on. With my chemistry, it is warm, cozy, not TOO sweet, and reminiscent of pineapple upside down cake! I swear I get pineapple with this. The vanilla is high quality, not synthetic smelling nor plastic like. It leans a little gourmand but not overly so. It has a sparkling quality and a freshness along with the warmth it radiates that is hard for me to put into words. I. LOVE. IT! I rated it for every season and day or night as I see this as a signature / any time scent. Silage is arms length. I don’t think you can overspray this. Longevity is very good (beats some of my Chanel’s). Pretty linear from start to finish. Extremely versatile - work, play, date, you name it. So so pretty! I got this for half price with a coupon so basically I paid $25 and have another bottle already on the way since this is limited edition. Edit: After 8 hours this was still projecting quite well and it was noticeable close to the skin the next morning. Say what you will about VS and the brand in the perfume world but I am impressed with the quality of Bombshell Gold!

This is the perfume that started my obsession. This has been my signature since 2020 and I have never found another one like it. A dumb little victorias secret perfume (don't like any other vs scents) has me in a chokehold. It's perfect for every season, every occasion, any time of day. It's light and sparkly but the subtle sweetness and woodiness makes it just warm and sexy enough. The use of Litchi is delicate and graceful, unlike most other sharp or sickeningly sweet litchi perfumes I've sampled. I feel fun and confident wearing this and sooo wish they would bring it back. None of the perfume comparisons do it for me like this one.

Another amazing blind buy! This and diamonds are the best flankers! Even better than OG. This smells gorgeous in warm weather! The notes sing beautifully together. It works very well with my chemistry. Very good girl and jpg classique pin up have the same scrumptious smell but turn into fried sweets in heavy heat, where as this stays gorgeous so far. 🤞 This may be the one for when I want VGG but it's too hot for it. And it doesn't have the mentholated smell that pin up has in the beginning.

This is based around the peony and litchi on me, backed with a soft & creamy vanilla and sandalwood blend - I think there's peach and some sweet citrus (clementine?) In here too, though the other florals are indistinct enough to be almost anything. Bombshell Gold is a very warm and comforting fragrance, that's perfect for this time of year. I like it more than the original Bombshell - in my opinion, several of the flankers over the past couple of years have been nicer than the original.

This is my favorite Bombshell flanker. Vanilla fragrances are my favorite, and this does not disappoint. It's kind of basic, but the perfect go to for any occasion. It's sweet but not too sweet at all, fruity, and feminine without being girly. It's simple, sophisticated, and sexy. I've worn this for an entire year almost daily, and it is a timeless scent. Its fresh and lovely any time of the year. I always get compliments. Great for layering or on its own.

This perfume is beautiful! I don’t understand the hate. It is so woody and sugary and sparkly. It is very unique and sexy. Not only do I love this, but my husband was obsessed with it. I think the woods is most dominant but you also get sugar, vanilla and the lychee. It has a sparkly factor to it like champagne that I can’t quite put my finger on. If you love the bombshell line like I do definitely put this on your list.

Aside from Dream Angels Heavenly, I think this may be my favorite from Victoria’s Secret. The litchi in this sticks out and lingers on my skin, which I could do with less of, personally, but it’s still pleasant. I think this is well-suited for a winter day. I always have a bottle of the fragrance lotion on my vanity table.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! I spary this with careless abandon LOL! I am obsessed. The lychee and peony hit wonderfully strong at first and then mellow to allow room for a sweet warm vanilla at the dry down. Others have noted that is has a little champagne in it and I agree too! New favorite!

This is good for a VS Bombshell Flanker... My favorite Bombshell Flanker is Celebration...and this one is actually very similar in my opinion! I am going to wear this to work today and I'll report back on the longevity and dry down, but at first spray I like it!

I love this one. A nice vanilla scent. Sweetened with some sugar, i can detect some wet, sweet florals. A lot similar to vanilla woods by the 7 virtues.

Bombshell Gold = Warm Sugar Cookie + Fresh Fruit + Fresh Woods (strongest) + A Pinch of Bombshell DNA + Evergreen Air Is it me? Is my nose weird? I don't know. But it's pretty and probably wearable beyond just the winter. I have to admit I love the bottle too! I can see why comparisons are made to Ari and Wicked, but Bombshell Gold has its own feel. It is WAY more woody than those two. Bombshell Gold has slightly less vanilla than marshmallowy Wicked, and way less fruit/citrus/fluffy marshmallowy flowers compared to Ari. Think of a fresh woody base that can make you feel fresh even when sweating, like the woody notes in Light Blue or Eros Pour Femme EDT. Obviously those fragrances are not similar at all to Bombshell Gold, but the woods are prominent. But Bombshell Gold's style of sweetness and vanilla may be cloying in the summer. It reminds me a bit of Meliora by Parfums de Marly but less of a fruity/evergreen/juicy Christmas scent.

This smells nothing like "bombshell" it has no bombshell ingredients at all, but I don't mind that. It's very much a stand alone scent. The vanilla woody floral mix is a nice departure. I feel like this one and Passion both are such mature sexy directions for the "bombshell" lineup. The bottle is gorgeous as is the packaging. The overall scent is so strong. I am still waiting to give it an office run to see how silage and longevity go, as well as compliments but on me at home it seems to last and I really surprisingly like the scent, I figured it would be too heavy on the "woodsy" and "vanilla" and I wouldn't keep it and would gift to a friend. But I like it a lot actually. **UPDATE** Wore for 10+ hours today. Didn't overwhelm me, but has great staying power. I GOT SO MANY COMPLIMENTS. So many. Several people asked what is that, where did you get it, and how can I get it. Total crowd pleaser.

I wanted to love Bombshell Gold, the notes are like instant great perfume! Except it wasn’t. 😔 The litchi I think is what doesn’t make sense here. The other notes are very warm and on the sweet side. The litchi is juicy and refreshing. It just doesn’t go. It’s like if someone layered Burberry Her EDT (the green one with pear) on top of the original formula of Imaginary Authors Whiff of Waffle Cone. Not saying Bombshell Gold smells like these frags, but if you own or have smelled both, then you can understand the sensation of both being on opposite ends of the spectrum. One is warm, kinda deep, cozy, sweetish vanilla. Cold winter weather vibes. The other is cooling, refreshing, fruity, kinda sour. Hot summertime vibes. It was an interesting idea for sure, sadly for me, I felt it failed. I think if executed correctly, it could’ve wormed its way into the mainstream perfume world.

I just got this today in the mail. It's lighter than I expected, but I really like it upon first spray. It's light enough for summer, but I bet it's gorgeous in colder weather. I was a little nervous about the litchi, but it's not screechy or sharp, even upon first spray. It is mostly a warm vanilla scent and I knew that going in. It was a blind buy for me, and a super successful one. I wish all my blind buys worked out this way. I can see that this would also make a great base layer if you are into layering. I tend to be more of a purist, which is ridiculous as all perfumes are just a combination of perfume notes. I really need to start trying to layer more, and this one would be great for that.

Bombshell Gold is what I like to call an "easy reacher." This is the perfume I wear when I don't want anything strong, potent or irritating. I've been wearing this for a week now, and I like it. It's become my favourite after gym perfume actually! It's a fresh fruity vanilla that is sweet, classy and feminine. I can imagine this working for all occasions and it'll never bother anyone but you'll still have people telling you that you smell lovely. I can't believe no one has mentioned this, but this reminds me heavily of Rihanna's Nude. I have both and they smell really familiar. Both are very fresh clean scent vanillas with sparkling fruit notes. Plus, that bottle is breathtaking. So elegant.

I like it, it is a good perfume, but it doesn't sit fully right on me. I believe it's the litchi - that note does not usually work well with my nose and body chemistry, so I ended up giving this to someone else. It's worth smelling and having, though, if you don't mind litchi. It's a fresh sweet vanilla perfume with pretty good longevity. The litchi, while it doesn't work for me, does lift the scent to be more than just vanilla. I don't think it smells much like the original Bombshell. When I wore it, I felt like I should be going to a holiday party - it smelled like a sophisticated vanilla perfume, and combined with the beautiful packaging, feels classy. Good perfume, just not for me.

This is a nice perfume. It doesn't turn as sweet on my skin as MrsTefee. I loved Wicked and wish they would bring that back. I seem to get more litchi and peony with the vanilla rounding it out. It is a fall or winter version of Bombshell. I like it and I'm happy with it for a casual fragrance. Although, according to the other comment since i'm not 18 I shouldn't wear this, Lol. I'm 40 and I'm just as likely to wear this or Pink Sugar as I am a Tom Ford or Guerlain on any given day. I think if the notes appeal to you it is a nice fragrance for this time of year. Wear what you like.

I like this! I got it for $25 in a recent sale, so great value. This has good staying power for the price point, lingering on me for about 4 hours. This opens with a slightly fruity scent, then dries down to a warm vanilla. It's a bit heavy and intense, and definitely doesn't smell like the original Bombshell. In fact, I really don't like the original Bombshell, so this was a pleasant surprise. I would consider it an evening/event fragrance. Edit: ended up giving away to a friend. It wasn't really my speed.

I picked this up today from the Victorias Secret semi annual sale. The only 50ml bottle left, $19.99 & the 100ml was $29.99 (I wish I picked up that size because I love this so much) maybe I’ll go back in the last week of the month when they mark down all things left from the sale. Anywho, this is sweet but not sickly, floral & woodsy, as mentioned below, nothing like the original Bombshell. Nice fall/winter scent. Edit: 1/20/21 I went back to VS today & I also picked up the 100ml for only $25 :)

My mom gave me this as a gift. I normally don’t wear perfumes from VS only because I just feel they lack depth and all have a very similar sent to them. However, this one is different.. it’s strong at first and a but sweet but once it dries down it leaves a nice woody creamy sent which settles well on my skin. This is a fragrance I smell on me all day and I don’t mind it. It’s not my best or go to fragrance but definitely think it’s a good winter scent.

Very good blind buy. I feel it's the best out of all the VS perfumes. It just smells like something you'd smell in a Sephora. It's comparable to Marc Jacob's Daisy perfume. The vanilla note is NOT present. It is heavily litchi and peony with a hint of sugar. Do not buy if you're expecting it to be a sweet gourmand, it is NOT. It is a floral fruity scent.

This is a flanker to the Bombshell Pillar. This is more similar to the other flanker 'Bombshell Seduction' than to 'Bombshell' itself. There is a sweet and sexiness about the scent but it's very sophisticated. This isn't a young perfume.

This definitely reminds me of their wicked perfume that they discontinued. However it is lighter with a fresher /fruitier opening. Drydown is a sweet vanilla/brown sugar musk that reminds me of wicked. This is nice! Get it with a coupon!

This is different from the other bombshell scents, first you get the litchi..later the beautiful vanilla sugar combo..mm nice

So I have bombshell seduction (which I looove even though it doesn't last long) and I wanted a different flanker of bombshell so I bought the bombshell gold and I thought from the review's that this would be amazing! I mean I love a good vanilla combo. So I blind bought it and while I like it l, to my nose this smalls almost exactly like "bare vanilla" Which I own so I am a bit disappointed because I was expecting something closer the the "bombshell franchise". Now I will be using this as a casual but I don't think I'll ever repurchase this again!

I decided to blind buy this after watching reviews: so many reviews stated how nice and vanilla-y the scent became, so I figured a warm vanilla was a safe bet for my skin. Of course I was wrong :) This was heavy, woodsy and very warm on my skin. At first I thought I could like this even though it's so different from the other Bombshells. I smelled a bit of the frozen lychee, and the warmth coming from the woods definitely marked this as an evening scent or holiday scent to me. But as time passed, the scent got warmer and the woodsy notes came out even warmer. It reminds me of the woody note in their Tease perfume, and how the perfume is designed to react to your body heat. In any case it's a scent that becomes way too warm for me to enjoy. The longevity is great compared to other Bombshell flankers tho!

This is the worst bombshell I've tried. And I own basically all of them, but regret buying this one! Yuck. Smells like an old lady's perfume. Maybe it's the litchi combo with sugar and wood? I dunno but this is awful. Wish I never spent my $

I purchased this fragrance back in April after reading the stellar reviews this had on Fragrantica. I was so in love with Victoria's Secret Wicked fragrance, i figured this would be another amazing Vanilla scent, and it is. But upon arrival, i had mixed feelings about this fragrance. Mainly because it didn't smell like what i had imagined. It was difficult for me to compose a review about my feelings on Bombshell Gold at the time. So i had no choice but to give it time and multiple wears. The amazing thing about Bombshell Gold is it's uniqueness. I've smelled many Bombshell flankers and most of them have that original DNA in the composition, so i definitely can appreciate this being a step outside of the box. Upon first spray, i get a blend of Litchi and a mildly sweet Vanilla. It was a bit odd to my nose because I'm not too familiar with Litchi, but still very interesting to where i kept sniffing my wrist. I remember being told that this works better in the fall/winter weather because of how intense and warm it is. But initially, i didn't get that. In my opinion, Bombshell Gold walks the borderline of light/fresh & warm/intense to where it could be worn year round because in the opening, it starts off very light & fresh. Then as it settles, about an hour or so in, the wood notes accompanies the Vanilla & Litchi and gives it that warmth. But it's not intense to a point where it would be harsh in warm weather. I own quite a few heavy fragrances that will strangle a crowd in the heat, and Bombshell Gold just isn't one of them. If anything, the heat may amplify the notes in this fragrance and make it more enjoyable. As far as performance, i get a good 4-5 hours on my skin with 3 feet of projection. It's safe to say that this fragrance has definitely grown more on me. I highly recommend giving this a try If you can find it at a goid price. Scent: 8/10 Packaging: 8/10 Performance: 6/10

Creamy, fruity. I think it's a good flanker bc it def has whispers of the original. And we know a lot of VS flankers smell nothing like their originals lol. It feels very warm and cozy and would be perfect for those fall days in mid October when it gets chilly enough to need a blanket and jacket (my FAV time of the year). It's not SUPER heavy tho like it would totally be a nice warm summer fragrance. It's not fully gourmand but deI def leans more gourmand. I smell more fruity notes than just lychee tho. It's almost like a tart citrus. Overall it has a similar vibe to the new Very Sexy Floral in the white bottle. Not the same scent but it has a creamy vanilla w a powdery drydown like that one does. It's a really safe choice, and idk I feel cozy and safe when I smell it lol. I wouldn't buy tho bc it's kind of boring and as an introvert I just feel like fragrances are the one part in life it's fun for me to be bold with everyday.

This is totally different from other Bombshell flankers all of which retained Bombshell DNA and only had minute differences among them. Bombshell Gold is actually floriental, very soft mind you, sweet, with top fruity note. Its nice but not anything ground breaking but VS scents rarely are. I would wear it if i was gifted it but I wouldn't rush out to buy it or anything. Bottles are gorgeous as they always are. The revamped body mist packaging as well so its very pretty. At this point, VS is selling their edt for 58 dollars I believe and its definately not worth it. Wait until it goes on sale, as all flankers always do and you will get it at half the price most likely

I have body lotion which i got on semi annual sale. if they had perfume i would have bought it tpo but they were all out. Its a nice scent and very different from original Bombshell which is fresh floral. This one has prominent fruit and vanilla notes, very warm and slightly woodsy. Its quite nice. I can't speak of how long lasting the actual fragrance is but lotion on its own lasts for few hours. I actually layered it with Libre by YSL and it seems to work really well.

This is so festive and beautiful to me. I smell berries and tonka bean, in addition to the notes listed. I feel like there may be a touch of patchouli in this as well. I wish this was the “bombshell intense” that is always available in stores. To me, this deserves to be part of the core line. This one is so so good. I hope they bring this back.

After having an opportunity to wear this thoroughly, the dry down really reminds me of Angel’s Share by Killian. Whatever the last note in Killian is is the same as Bombshell Gold. Not sure if it’s tonka bean, maybe cinnoman.. but they are very similar when you wear them.

There is definitely a verrrry prominent tonka bean and praline note in this. The longevity of this is very good and definitely projects. This smells very similar to La vie est belle so if you like that one, you’re going to really like this.

I love this! I received a sample of Maison Francis Gentle Fluidity gold and Bombshell Gold smells really similar to it. Definitely could be a dupe. Smells so good

Smells like expensive hotel soap in France. I genuinely like it but I don’t think it smells like a perfume.
