Bombshell Holiday Eau de Parfum

The Bombshell flankers for 2019 have been really impressive; Wildflower, Intense and Holiday have been particular standouts and I enjoy them more than the original Bombshell. There is no vanilla and very little jasmine detectable to me, unlike almost every other Victoria's Secret perfume that I've tried/owned, so it's different for them. On me it is a clean, uncluttered and cold pomegranate and woodsy scent, with a little bit of airy musk in the base. There is a mix of some fresh & green floral notes in the background, but none of them are strong enough for me to be able to separate and identify, though I do get a impression of the original Bombshell, so I guess they must more or less be the same. Bombshell Holiday is the scent of a walk through a fruit orchard on a frosty morning - it's a perfect autumn/winter fragrance. It is a fairly close-to-the-skin fragrance, and it has a "meh" longevity (around 6 hours), which is a shame and slightly lessens my enjoyment for it. However I still reccomend trying it out if you enjoy simpler, clean fragrances, as it makes a lovely daytime perfume, and can be layered with smokier perfumes for the evening to give them an icy jolt of energy.

Fragrance type: Mostly floral, and then fruity Notes: Iced Pomegranate, Winter Jasmine and Birchwood Sillage: Arms length, closer to skin This version of Bombshell is a beautiful scent, It smells similar to the original bombshell but it is definitely fitting of the name because it smells clean and icy. I will try to explain the scent as the following: imagine what princess walking in a cold, snowy morning would smells like, and that's the smell. I smell mostly the winter jasmine, but you can definitely smell the fruity sweetness of the pomegranate. It is also super refreshing to smell, like when you get a rush of cold winter air. On the younger side, but not much to complain about the perfume!

Do not let it's name fool you since this beauty is summer in a bottle. Absolutely gorgeous & long lasting (7-8 hours) Fresh, bold, girly, and doesn't smell like the actual bombshell perfume. I somehow smell citrus/fruit the first few hours... which is why summer comes to mind. Hours later, flowers arrive which is nice, too. The combo is so pretty & uplifting. This perfume is so much different than other bombshells that smell just like the original. Definitely one of the best bombshells! Very recommended. PS: no leather or wood for me

The bombshell and this holiday edition are waaaaaaay better than any other designs of VS'. This is a super good winter smell that can be used as a complementary of the original bombshell! I always wanted to have one, but only got to try it a couple of times. Will buy one for sure after I used up my current bombshell.

I really like the scent of this perfume. It smells icy and floral at the same time. The scent reminds me of Britney Spears' perfume ''Curious''.

Seasonless, easy to wear, light and bright, tart and fruity blend. The birch note is a smooth woodiness, not very specific, but it adds a good base to the fruit. Jasmine is typically hit or miss for me, so I'm usually wary, but I don't really detect it as a separate note here. It's mostly the tart red fruit and lightweight wood. Certainly good for a holiday party, but can be worn all year and in the office without causing offense. I like this as a palette cleanser after wearing so many heavy winter scents.

Has is a blast of familiarity. The initial blast has some of the frosted fruits like Britney Spears Curious without the soap musk of Curious which is fine but curious drydown was a deal breaker. . I’m not detecting actual Pomegranate but grapefruit? Don’t get me wrong it is pleasant and not overpowering. 2 hours later the final drydown is comparable to Fancy Love by Jessica Simpson. Not exact of either but bipolar celebratory and quite nice actually.

Pomegranate, jasmine, and ice? Sounds more like a summer perfume to me. Smells like one too

I agree with das_ein that this scent is excellent for winter as a break from heavy winter scents. I save sweet scents with amber, caramel, anise, and praline for winter because they perform so much better in dry air, but in Wisconsin, winter gets sooo long that it’s nice to shake things up. Holiday is such a clean, tart scent. I also agree it can be worn in any season. It’s so, so fresh that it would be amazing in summer. In my 20s, I would never have given this a chance as I was obsessed with hyper-femininity in all regards, but in my late 30s, it is a treat. If I didn’t already know the notes, I would describe it as cranberries + the blue Calgon body mist from the early 2000s. Clean & fruity, with decent longevity. I can smell it on my scarf for about two days.

I just ordered a $30 dollar bottle from Amazon Prime, so not a bad deal at all. I blind bought this, as I've begun to realize I love Bombshell flankers. It's humid and hot today here, which might affect performance and scent....but here are my initial thoughts: This is tangy and a little sweet, but definitely reminds me of winter more than a spring fragrance. It feels luxurious and has a lot of depth (probably the woodiness). It's incredibly strong and one spray will last a while! I do think this is more mature than other Bombshells. Not as sweet or innocent, but I can see wearing this in the winter and perhaps the cold will bring out more of the fruitiness. For right now, 6/10. Not mad I spent 30 on it, but glad I didn't blind buy a bigger bottle for more money!

I just got this, it’s mid April but getting warm quick. I feel like you could wear this in the winter but it’s very refreshing when it’s hot out also! Love the pomegranate note. It was a blind buy since I dont live near their store. I’m very pleased. Scored a 3.4 on PoshMark for $20+ shipping. I sprayed 6-7 sprays and went out fishing for the day in the hot sun, could still smell it 6 hours later as a skin scent. Would purchase again!

I love this version of Bombshell! Definitely still the same DNA as the original but more fitting for winter. Lots of cranberry and sugar for me and there is a cool icy scent as well. I don’t really smell anything floral about it. It blends really well and is really beautiful. If you are a Bombshell fan you will really like this. It’s fruity, pretty and sweet. Doesn’t last as long as the original though.

Love love love this perfume. It's so fresh, clean and has a pleasant, happy smell. It definitely smells like a wintry, fresh fruity floral scent but I could wear this all year long.

Smells like a much lighter and more tolerable version of Pacifica Moon Flower. I get the woody/fruity/jasmine vibe and it's just not for me. Lasts an hour or two.
